I just left this place in tears. First of all, my nail technician was very professional and offered great service. His name was Long and he was very nice. I am so upset because of two things...I asked for very natural looking nails, I wanted light pink, and I was pressured into powder dipped nails. I've never had these before so I didn't know what to expect. Remember!!! I asked for natural looking nails. What I have looks like pink chiclets gum pieces glued to my fingers. I'm so upset and I don't even know how to fix them. Secondly, I go to pay and they don't take American Express. I prefer to use this while I'm traveling for the security. No where was it posted that they don't take American Express. The lady was very nice and allowed me to pay using Venmo but I was still very embarrassed as I stood there trying to pay. I'm sure people were thinking "aw, poor girl, her card must be declined" Sooooo embarrassing!!!!! Lastly, this location is not easy to find. It is a door beside the Sweet Green Restaurant. You have to be buzzed in. It seemed like the locals loved this place, I picked up on that quickly. Like I said, I'm writing this review right after leaving and being very upset. Embarrassed and not receiving what I requested. Powder dipped nails and a polish change on my toes cost me $82 plus tip and I could just throw up thinking about it. *The owner has reached out and corrected the situation. I can not say enough about their professionalism and kindness! As another reviewer said, it is hard not to give them 5 stars because they are so nice! I went in this pass Friday with my boyfriend to get mani & pedi's. I spent over 4 hours there, I spent nearly $200 and I am highly upset about my result. First, My pedi was not done correctly. I asked for spa and the girl was not doing the spa as she should. I know this because the lady next to me doing my boyfriends pedi was advising the one lady doing mines. On top of that, they were poorly painted. Now to my nails and the reason I am truly complaining. I got tips done ( ALL WHITE ) and right from when she started, I knew there was an issue because they were not glued on correctly. Sunday, My nail snapped! When that happened, I looked at the other nails and notice how most of them are not glued on all the way and almost are not evenly covered. My nails have an indent in the middle. Clearly, because not enough powder was applied. I knew they were rushing because it was closing time and I can tell that the other adults were rushing her. Its soooo unprofessional to have a first time client spending what I did and to feel rush and my nails come out horrible. So, I went back on Monday... I am honestly am upset that I wasted my time twice. Not only was I uncomfortable because it was more then clear they were speaking about us. The guy doing my nails was clearly not happy to do them, kept pointing things out and was pulling my arms so hard. He ended up re doing my nails. He obviously re-did them because he knew they were horrible. My nails ended up chipping the next day and the nail polish did not even last me walking out the door. I don't know what he used but it peeled the clear nail polish off. The same with my boyfriend and his nails were cut done so low that it was painful. I paid $65 for horrible job done on my nail and whatever they charged me for my feet. I expected to get top service for what I paid and I did not. Having to go back twice and not get the service I paid for. On top of that, I gave all of them (3) each a $10 tip which none deserve but I did so, so you can see money was not an issue. I go in about once a month for an acrylic fill and gel polish change. It's $60. The staff is nice and they always have good music playing, which is nice since I feel like you shouldn't wear headphone while getting a manicure. I always make an appointment and I'm in and out in less than an hour which is fantastic. read more

This place is one of those places you go when you want a manicure and pedicure that makes you feel like royalty. Despite the fact they did a nice job (not spectacular) there was absolutely no reason for them to charge $80 for acrylic nails (REFILL), gel with design. Additionally, I showed them a picture of what I wanted and it was basically the exact opposite, and they were whispering among one another of what to charge me. Since I'm fully vaccinated, I decided to treat myself to a mani-pedi. My toes turned out great, but my nails did not. I didn't get polish on my nails because my work doesn't allow it, but I wanted to get my cuticles cleaned up. After I left, four of my cuticles started bleeding. My friend and I were visiting Boston and decided to go get mani/pedis. They were able to fit us in right away. We both got the signature pedi and classic mani - no gel. The total was $72 before tip for both (classic pedi with classic mani would have been $57). I was a bit nervous because I've had a lot of bad nail salon experiences back home in Chicago, but was really pleasantly surprised. I didn't catch my technician's name, unfortunately, but she was really sweet. She paid a lot of attention to the details (wiping nail polish off the edge, cutting every bit of cuticle off, etc.), didn't rush on our services, and the end product looks great! I loved this place! I went there with 2 friends for pedicures- we were easily able to call and make an appointment for the next day, and they were ready when we arrived a few minutes early. They made sure the three of us were sitting together, and gave us a bottle of water which was a nice touch. For a gel manicure it was only $33...which is significantly cheaper than what I usually pay for but double the quality. The location is great as well, centrally located across from the Boston Public Library in Copley. Keep in mind: they only accept CASH tips, so be sure to withdraw before going. I got dip nails with extensions and a gel pedicure. Jenny did my dip and she was by far my favorite nail technician I've encountered. She was personable and we had a good conversation, but not too much. It was my first time doing dip so she also walked me through what dip was all about as she did them. I was invited back to the salon to fix the broken nail I mentioned in my last review and once again they accommodated me on the same day - very important. This time only one gentleman worked on me and he was very patient. He looked like he has been doing this for years and he worked quickly but expertly. He specifically told me to give him a call any time I mess up/damage my nails and he will fix it for me, but that calling before is better to ensure I get an appointment and don't have to wait.
