Came to the beach yesterday paid for a full cabana. Chairs come complimentary for the hotel. Today we are only staying at the beach for about 2 hours. We had to sit on the beach for about an hour without towels because they opened an hour late. Before coming to the beach, we decided it would be worth it for 2-3 hours to buy a $20 cabana like we did yesterday even though we could only stay for about 2-3 hours since our flight is this afternoon. When they finally came to bring towels and check us in, we asked if it was ok if we paid half price for an umbrella since at this point we'd only need it for an hour or so at this point. They told us no. I then asked why yesterday they allowed a girl who wasn't with any of the hotels could use a chair for free.. (they found her attractive) they said it wasn't free and I said well the upgrade was...what has happened yesterday was, 3 guys that worked here and even the female kept walking up to her all afternoon just to say hi and when they'd walk away they carried on how fine she was.. I'll spare you the crude language they used as I could hear them because I sat behind the girl... shortly after allowing her to stay in the chair they all as a group ran up to her and sang her happy birthday (it was not her birthday.. I found this out bc a few hours after she left, a man that laid on a towel during the whole thing asked one of the workers what that was all about and the worker then carried on to the man it was bc she was so hot). So my point of this whole review is because the whole situation is discriminatory and ridiculous. we are full paying customers of a hotel who can't use an umbrella for an hour yet bc they find this girl attractive they give her a free cabana just bc they are attracted to her and then lie to my face when I bring it up today after offering half price to use an umbrella with my complimentary chairs for an hour after they opened an hour late due to not yet having towels. I'd understand needing to pay full price even tho you're staying an hour if the beach was full or close to full but it's empty as of now. It's incredible discriminating behavior. Another comment is yesterday was very hard to relax on the beach when the workers are frolicking around, laughing extremely loud and shouting across the beach about how hot each girl in a cheeky bikini is and making crude jokes. Rented chairs for the day with an umbrella & went get lunch & they gave it to someone else because I didn't leave anything in the chair. When I asked for them to fix it they didn't want to at first but finally they did after I complained enough. They said it was my fault for not leaving something in the chair. I went to the room to eat lunch & get my kids & that's what I came back too. I did ask if they would be responsible for my things with me being gone & they said yes. I don't think they would be. I was not happy with the service I got. I guess I am used to someone making things right when someone felt wronged. read more

The chairs and umbrella were everything out there on south beach. The sun is hot and you gotta have a way to get out of it once you come in from the sea. I usually expect to be up-charged at a vacation spot, but compared to what my hotel was offering ($500 for a cabana for the day!), Boucher Brothers was 1/5 the cost of that and my partner and I enjoyed the cabana w/ bed all day. This review is for the location at CHC Resort on the Broadwalk. We had to pay a daily fee at the resort giving us access to 2 beach chairs each day with BB and the option to pay extra to upgrade to a cabana. The staff at this location were incredibly rude and unprofessional over the course of multiple days. We were told they were out of cabanas and chairs and offered to "sneak us in" despite us having already paid a fee. Their response was "we don't have anything to do with that". The frustration was truly the lack of professionalism and customer service. read more

Called ahead and they told me daybeds for Miami Beach 5th and ocean area and was $100 unless weekend or holidays . It is a regular Tuesday, I got charged $150. After paying I was informed there are no towel, not even a cover for the bed. I believe at the very least I should have been charged the minimum $100 if I was not going to have any towels, which I am still waiting for, or at least a cover for the bed. Considering I am a local, this is pretty bad service, on a regular Tuesday with the beach not being too crowded. This is a surprise because the service is usually good. read more

My wife and I needed a getaway. We both work in healthcare and had not been able to get away in over a year due to COVID. We planned a quick trip to Hollywood Beach. A place we had never been to before, but it had sand, surf, and sunshine so we booked the flights, hotel, packed our bags, and went. We had never been to Hollywood Beach and didn't know a thing about it all we know is that we wanted to soak up some sunshine and enjoy the local cuisine. Day one at Hollywood beach; We have never rented chairs, cabanas, umbrellas, etc. After finding our hotel did not have chairs were on the fence as if we should buy cheap chairs and just leave them when we were done with them or rent chairs. We decided to rent and are we glad we did. On the first day, Lawrence was our beach chair attendant. Lawrence was FANTASTIC. He walked us through the whole process was more than accommodating and was extremely friendly. I wanted to make sure my wife and I had chairs even though we were not ready to come to the beach for the day yet. I purchased them early, placed towels on them and they were there when my wife and I made it to the beach. He was such a great person who you could tell cared about his job and cared about the customer experience. A storm rolled in later that afternoon and he was so apologetic that our day at the beach had been cut a little short. He waited until the very last possible time to ask us to leave because of the storm. Lawrence is fantastic. Day two at Hollywood Beach; I went back to the same chair rental to secure chairs for another day as we had enjoyed them so much the day before. I was a little disappointed Lawrence was not working. Billy was though and like Lawrence, Billy was fantastic. Exceeded our expectations. Billy had the swagger of a manager or owner of the business with his attention to detail and very evident love for his job. You could tell he was personally invested in customer experience. Additionally, Billy's knowledge of the area was fantastic. Not knowing much about the area we asked him for dining suggestions to which he gave us advice. We took his advice and had the best meal of our trip. Thank you, Billy, for not only a great day at the beach but a great dinner suggestion. So here is the takeaway. If you go to Hollywood Beach, the chair/cabana rentals for Boucher Brothers are well worth the money. The prices are more than fair, the lounge chairs were fantastic. I am 6'3" and usually hang over lounge chairs but fit perfectly on Boucher Brother's chairs. The customer service was top-notch, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and all about ensuring the best customer experience. I know when my wife and I go back to Hollywood Beach, we hope to see Lawrence and Billy again. read more

Poor service. Been waiting 3 hours for towels & there are towels sitting on display! I asked to take one from display after 2 hours & was told it wasn't my hotels towels. Really?? You'd expect a beach rental to have towels. If you're staying at the Plymouth Hotel bring your own towel or be disappointed. Wish I hadn't paid $15 for the umbrella now. My mom and I parasailed with this company for her birthday. It was a bit pricey, but we were able to take it down slightly with a birthday discount (same as the morning discount, which is before 11AM), so we parasailed for $60 each and paid $20 for a photo CD with 80 pics of the whole experience. If I had the choice, I would pay it again because it was an amazing experience! We were flying high above the buildings and we could see Miami Beach and Downtown and we even saw some marine life. The company workers said they saw a sea turtle but I missed it :(. I did, however, see some other stuff. I'm not gonna lie...pretty sure I saw a few schools of what looked like nurse sharks, which are harmless... It's all good, though, you do not have to ever touch the water, but they do dip you for photo ops and after seeing what I saw, harmless or not, can't lie, I was still scared once we touched the water, lol. Anywho, the views and the nice breeze were breathtaking! The photo CD was a nice touch. We were only supposed to get 25 pics, but we got 80. The guys actually gave us an extra 10-15 minutes of parasailing, too. The average parasail is 10-15 min. As far as the photos, most were wonderful and some were even like pieces of art, but on the other hand, the guys don't seem to have a refined photographic eye because if it were me, I would've zoomed in for at least a few closer pics to see the parasailer's faces, too. Overall, I'd definitely pay for the CD if I ever did this again. As far as customer service, the guys who take you out to sea have a great sense of humor and really set a great mood for the whole experience. read more

50 bucks to rent 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella. I'm not kidding. Actually, I don't take issue with the crazy expensive rental. They were awarded the contract to rent beach gear, so they can charge what they like. It's a fairly understandable price point, especially in Miami Beach. My real gripe was that they only accept cash and they don't give receipts. The guy did a song and dance about his boss not wanting to issue receipts and that he'd try to do what he could but he couldn't promise. Shady business if you ask me. Great lounges though! read more

Review for 2nd street location, in front of Marriott South Beach This terrible beach chair and umbrella rental company bears the Marriott logo, but does not provide any kind of service to Marriott guests and are not actually affiliated with the Marriott hotel. To add insult to injury, staff are pretentious and rude. On the day after Christmas, we were told they were too busy / packed / shortage to give us towels (they had given us towels on the 23rd). At the time, it was 9:30 AM and there were literally fewer than 5 people using their rental service. Take a look at my included photo to see how "busy" they were at the time. If they don't provide towels for free, they should be consistent in doing so. If they don't provide a service for Marriott guests, they should not be permitted to use the Marriott logo. I think the wonderful Marriott Stanton is being hurt by their affiliation with this company, and intend to tell them so in a long-winded letter to their corporate office. $20 for a lounge chair rental and a complementary towel seems pricey. But I will say that I have seen the staff in action bringing out lounge chairs for a family, layered it with cushy fabric towels while grabbing them several beach umbrellas along with extra cushy white towels. They cater to the people and work tirelessly in the hot sun while maintaining a pleasant disposition. I had just finished a long jog and was out of breath as I gave my fiancee a chance to play in the water. I could barely talk and they were kind enough to allow me to use just a beach umbrella momentarily until I caught my wind. I needed the shade to recover quickly and I am grateful they were nice about and not beach Nazi's lol. It must be difficult to inform people of their prices but I did consider taking the lounge chair and complementary towel with beach umbrella for $20. Then I was like, nahh, soon as he finishes in the water we will be leaving the beach. However, it is good to know if you came unprepared they are available to meet your needs and will do so with kindness and professionalism. read more

The workers are rude and lazy. There is a slight breeze which is no different than any other day and the won't put up an umbrella because it's too windy. I found the Boucher Brothers beach concession easily. My hotel, El Paseo, included a chaise lounge setup, and Boucher directed me to a chaise, only to discover it had already been assigned and was occupied. No problem, it was early and there were plenty of chairs available so I was moved to another chaise. You're given a tag to hang from the chair to show it's reserved for those times you're in the ocean or walking the beach. I also rented a large beach umbrella, practically a necessity in the scorching Miami sun, and it was setup quickly. Finally I chose to rent an Aqua Locker, a small oblong box that attaches to the back of the chaise for securely locking up valuables like cash, credit cards and phones. It's pretty nifty and only $5. The concession seemed disorganized with confusion about processes, how to check the hotel guest list, what chairs were already occupied, even handing out Aqua Vaults. I suspect there were new employees still getting their wits about them. One concession employee had a hard time find an Aqua Vault that worked or that had the security code with it. He promised to bring me one but never showed up. I had to go back to the concession where a different person took care of me. Overall, once I got settled in with my umbrella and Aqua Locker, everything was fine. read more

Second time using the team from Boucher Brothers and it's been an amazing time. 4 days in Miami at the Cadillac Hotel and Mo Morisset and his crew took incredible care in having our beds, chairs and umbrellas ready for us each day! I had a horrific experience at the Miami Beach location. After a simple misunderstanding about the check-in process, one of their employees, Robert, accosted me, challenging to fight me and threatening to kick me out. His conduct was verbally abusive, combative, and completely uncalled for. I've never had such a bizarre and offensive experience with customer service in my life. They are the best they are very careful choosing their staff members ,they are polite efficient they walk up and down quite often to see if you need something ,they clean the equipment always smiling.
