Our waiter, Brandon, was excellent and very attentive to a dairy restriction for one of the guests. The food was delicious. The restaurant is gorgeous and we had a lovely view! It wasn't too noisy. We could easily engage in conversation. The timing of the courses was not rushed, just right to get us from appetizers to desserts and getting us to the concert in time. Fantastic, haven't been in a couple of years but it did not disappoint. Fantastic service, our waiter was attentive and brought diet cokes without being prompted just how it should be. Ordered oysters, stellar and fresh, deviled egg fantastic, French onion soup everyone should take lessons. Lastly and this is the reason I knocked a star off was the wagyu NY strip. Temperature was perfect mid rare. The knock was the grill marks, and I get the presentation aspect of having perfect grill marks but they were burnt in and it added a bitter taste to the $120 piece of meat. On a lesser cut not a big deal but they need to reconsider the preparation on this one. For the Midwest pallet they probably wouldn't notice but for me I don't want to taste the burn on my $120 steak read more

While researching places to grab brunch on the strip, Bouchon came highly recommended, so I slotted it into our itinerary on Saturday morning before we headed out for the rest of the day. For the most part we had an excellent meal; there were some misses, but I would definitely come again in the future to try some other things on the lunch menu, and maybe dinner is even more impressive! Our group of 6 started off with coffee and juice, which was excellent; my orange juice was clearly freshly squeezed and not watered down with ice. Then we proceeded to overorder on pastries and bread :P The complementary baguettes were incredible with the accompanying butter and jam, but we also ended up ordering 4 cheese danishes (huge! so much cream cheese! not too sweet!) and 2 orders of the "beignets" -- which came 4 to an order, and were really just cinnamon sugar donuts. Delicious, but not beignets, and therefore disappointing in that regard. It was simply way too much food as a pastry course and many ended up not having much room for their brunch entrees which was truly a shame, because the savory items were delicious. My husband and I ordered the apricot gazpacho to share, and it was delightful and refreshing after all that bread. Then I got my crab benedict and my husband got his chicken and waffles. The crab benedict was incredible and came turbo-loaded with large pieces of crab. Bouchon doesn't skimp! The flavors of the dish were wonderful, the eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce complemented the crab well, but it was extremely difficult to cut through the English muffin below with just a butter knife. I'm not sure if that was just a one-off or if the knives are just too dull to do the work, but either way it was definitely a struggle to put together a bite without having to attack the English muffin with my fork just to cut a piece off. Fortunately the chive waffles in the chicken and waffle dish were much less sturdy. They were super airy and we loved the combo of savory with the sweet syrup that came on the side. The chicken was super moist and paired really well with the soupy gravy that came with it. We couldn't finish, as mentioned before, but it was truly delicious. Not sure Bouchon would be my first choice in the future, but I'm intrigued enough by what they did well to give it a second chance, maybe at a different hour of the day. And I'll make sure to check more photos of dishes in the future to prevent something like the beignet mixup from happening again :P read more

One star is one too many... My company works in LV monthly, and Bouchon has been a staple in our Venetian stays. Last night, we were told over the phone that our party of 8 could be accommodated at (2) 4 tops. Upon arriving, we were told the wait was over an hour. Ok... There were 8 seats at the bar, so no big deal. We placed our order at 7:25pm. We didn't receive cold apps until 8pm. Salads didn't arrive until 8:30. At this point I was beyond livid. Over an hour to get a salad... I ask to speak to a manager who ensures us Entrees will be served ASAP. Fast forward to 9:10pm, now almost two hours after we placed our food, and well over 2:30 in the restaurant. Still no food.... The couple next to us was fed their entree within 30 mins of sitting down. The place is cleared out, and not busy at all by this point. The managers words were "well I guess that didn't work out" My party proceeded to leave without eating. The manager apologized. but still didn't comp our drinks, which after being there 2:30m (for 8 people) was over $400. So, after tip I spent $500 to have a salad... I told the Hostess on the way out that I've never left a restaurant without being fed. She looked at me with a smug face and said "Well sir, we are busy". Not a sorry, not an ounce of care. I know this isn't the French Laundry, but Thomas Keller should be ashamed of service like this. Additionally, making people pay $500 to not eat is unfathomable. I will never go back, and I will actively tell this story every time I'm at the venetian to everyone I encounter- which is frequent. read more

My husband and I arrived at the Venetian and had a difficult time locating Bouchon. NOTE: If you are not staying at the hotel, you have to use the elevator by the parking garage to access the restaurant. This is a separate elevator just for Bouchon. Anyway, we find our way to Bouchon. My husband and I each got our own French onion soups since it was THE food item to get here. We also shared an order of escargots and an order of the steak hash special. At $22.50 per bowl, this was a hefty bowl of soup. After drinking the entire bowl, I was pretty much full. The soup itself was pleasant and had hints of smokiness in it. The escargot was fine. Then came the steak hash. Without asking, our server had let the chef know to split the steak hash into two plates for my husband and me. We thought this was super thoughtful. The steak hash sadly was not up to standards. The potatoes placed under the egg absorbed all the moisture and were no longer crispy. The steak was tough. From other people's reviews, it seems like Bouchon is a hit or miss, and I have to agree. Great French restaurant off the lobby of the Venetian! Everything was excellent, but the bread (placed directly on the table to share) was a highlight, fresh with a delicious crispy crust. The Grand Plateau was fabulous - a favorite option when such fresh, thoughtfully sourced seafood is available; amazing variety of oysters (perfectly shucked), best muscles ever, wonderful clams, amazing shrimp and incredible lobster/sauce. Tucked away on the 10th floor of Venetian, Bouchon is the strip's best kept secret and diamond in the rough. Easily the best restaurant between the two properties (Palazzo and Venetian). The oysters were fresh and delicious, the steak tartare was delicate and flavorful, the deviled eggs were to die for, and the escargot stole the show, the best I've ever had. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical about trying Bouchon since I'm not a very adventurous eater. However, a couple we were dining with had been here before and highly recommended it--so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised! Even as someone who prefers all of her food cooked and sticks to pretty plain dishes, I found plenty of great options on the menu. At the same time, the more adventurous eaters in our group were thrilled with their choices--some of which I would personally consider unusual (or even gross!). The meal started off on a high note with the delicious bread service, and my short rib entree was absolutely fantastic--tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My husband absolutely loved his chicken. And the dessert? Divine. Every bite exceeded my expectations, and I'm so glad I gave this place a try. I hope to dine here again one day! read more

This is the best kept secret in Vegas. Who knew?! We ran into a couple on the elevator who said "we just had the most amazing breakfast up on 10". ‍ So we dug around and found it. We sat on the patio and Doug waited on us. He was just as amazing as the food! And the food was fantastic!!! I decided to go and try the Gigot D'Agneau roasted leg of lamb with matignon of root vegetables, yukon gold potato, fava beans, merguez sausage & thyme lamb jus. 1/2 oysters . CAlifornia Washington Oregon oysters The horse radish I devoured up as it tasted slightly sweet. The foie gra was my favorite part of the meal. On our first trip back to Vegas since Covid we of course decided to hit Bouchon for breakfast one of our days on the trip. This time I got the Crab Benedict with Peas and the wife and I split an order or potatoes. A few minutes before our food arrived I ended up getting a phone call and stepped out of the restaurant. Not long after I left my wife ended up texting me that the food had arrived. Unfortunately I was on hold for quite a while and I didn't want to be rude and hang up on the person. After they finally got back to me I ended the call and went back to the table. Well I am happy to report that even with the delay the food was still warm and the eggs were perfectly cooked. This restaurant was so good we came back again the next morning for Mother's Day brunch! Same wonderful bartenders/servers working behind the bar, same 10/10 service. For Mother's Day they had a $75 - 3 course prix fixe menu, which my husband opted into. He got a strawberry crepe to start, then a filet mignon as the main, and some cute little desserts (white chocolate lemon tart and a berry sugared gummy). All very delicious and well-presented! I got the biscuits and gravy, which had these red spicy peppers on it, which I had to remove bc they were so spicy, but the dish itself was really tasty and the gravy had good flavor. I came here on a Wednesday evening right before they were about to close. The bakery is pretty hidden, it is located right behind the escalators. Food: I am totally going to butcher the names, sorry French bakers haha, but we ordered the cheese danish, strawberry cheesecake, and the Kouign Amman (a version of a baked cinnamon croissan). Cream cheese danish had a flaky breading that was on the sweeter side, and had a nice creamcheese filling as well! Strawberry cheesecake was a bread that was filled with cheesecake filling which had a nice balance of savory to sweetness. The Kouign Amman was my favorite, it reminded me aof a baked cronut, hard on the outside with a soft middle. The flavor was mounth watering, i highly recommend it! Service: Lee helped us out with all of our questions. My husband and i are hge foodies and we love trying out the bakeries on the strip. Lee was super helpful and even gave us a free Kouign Amman to try out! What a nice surprise from her, i will definitely go back and let her know how amazing it was. While in Vegas on business this week, my colleagues and I had a rare evening to ourselves and were lucky enough to score last-minute reservations at Bouchon. It was exactly what we needed. Relaxing atmosphere; warm, friendly service; magnificent food and drink. We started with a dozen oysters -- a selection of East and West Coast varieties -- that were sweet, briny, delicious perfection. Paired with a glass of Champagne, it was a fine start to the meal. Everyone at the table chose mains that paired well with white wine, and the sommelier selected a delectable Sancerre (Chavignol, Yves Martin, vigneron '22) that was simply luscious; I can't remember when I've enjoyed a white wine so much. For my main course, I chose the Poulet Roti (roasted chicken with English peas, morel mushrooms, onion confit & chicken jus) and it was easily the best roast chicken I've ever had. Simple, perfect. Others at the table had Moules au Safran, Truite Amandine, and Saumon en Écailles de Pommes de Terre -- everyone was just as happy with their meals as I was with mine. Career waiters hustling everywhere, along with a very friendly sommelier. Immediately upon being seated, we were presented with their outstanding bread, butter and pistachios. We ordered: --Foie Gras Sauté. This was one of the best appetizers I've ever eaten. Absolutely outstanding! It was paired with a pumpkin or yellow squash sauce, blackberries and pistachios, and placed on top of crusty bread. A must order! --Gigou d'Agneau. Lamb cooked to perfection, atop browned butter flageolet beans, garlic confit and lamb jus. A very nice dish beautifully prepared. --Truiote Grenobloise. Trout with brown butter, cauliflower, small croutons, capers and drizzled with lemon. Very fresh and incredibly delicious. I loved the tartness of the lemon with this dish. --Dry Martini Up with a Twist. No vermouth. Served exactly as my boyfriend likes it. --Beaujolais half bottle. Full-bodied and fruity. We were too full to order a dessert, but they looked amazing. We had very professional, good service by our knowledgeable waiter, and we chatted a bit with the very nice sommelier. This was our best overall dining experience during our mother/daughter trip. We made a reservation for brunch in advance of the trip. We were seated immediately upon arriving. We chose the smaller seafood tower, we split the croque madame and a cheese Danish plus a cup of coffee and water. The seafood was so fresh! The three accoutrements were wonderful with the seafood, my favorite being the cocktail sauce with horseradish. The kitchen split our entry for us, no issues. Let me just say those fries, yes the fries, were fantastic! So too the Madame but couldn't stop going back to the fries. I've heard about this restaurant a while back, then finally got to try it over the weekend. As others mentioned, it's better if you made reservations in advance or else be prepared for at least an hour Wait. I got lucky and requested to be seated at the bar and waited about 10 min. The decor of the place is nice and neat. Looks like the traditional French restaurant. I ended up ordering the crab egg benedict, salmon salad and truffle fries. My favorite of all was surprising the truffle fries. It's a mix of real truffle and truffle oil with the fries. It has a really nice fragrance. The egg benedict is good. I like how they use real crab in the dish. But, like others mentioned, the hallondaise sauce was on the saltier side. Same for the onion dressing for the salad. It's actually salty too. But the good thing is the salmon is seared to perfection. It's not overly cooked. Aside from that, the service was quite nice. read more

Always loved Bouchon but right now furious at the experience we had tonight with one of the WORST waiters I have ever had in my life - Hernesto ! If I had paid by credit card and not room charge the 20% tip that my husband left would have been charged right back ( and I am a very generous tipper but we got zero service for. The waiters or bussers )as we had to walk to the front desk to finally check out as we would have waited all night for Hernesto to waddle back!! And we still had to wait until he could be bothered to walk back. At that point a manager should have been involved but the two girls at the front desk appeared to be greatly confused by the whole situation! But it was better than sitting amongst dirty, empty plates! EVERYTHING was too much effort for this waiter / from an actual menu - we were given paper menus and told to look up the drink menu to actual service! We did not have any single plate cleared all night long and they brought us hot food before cold, zero drink refills and zero service. The food was great which was my only reason for going above 1 star - although their once great fries are not anything special anymore and as a truffle lover - the $9 extra you pay for truffle fries is an absolute joke as there was a truffle taste on maybe one. Mussels were great but the best part is the broth which would greatly benefit from toasted bread. Seafood tower was excellent. Escargot were mediocre with stale or overcooked hard puff pastry on top! Wish k had stayed in Cut where we had pre dinner cocktails and won't bother returning to Bouchon in a hurry as the trek across the property is not worth the substandard service when you are surrounded by a plethora of fantastic restaurants! read more

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent visit. Although we have been loyal customers for years, we found the service during this visit to be extremely unaccommodating. Despite having a reservation, your staff refused to seat us because the rest of our group was running slightly behind. This was particularly distressing as I was experiencing a massive migraine and symptoms of hypoglycemia at the time. I am disappointed that our reservation was not honored when we arrived. Came during lunch when it wasn't even packed and it took over 30 minutes to put in some appetizers. Our server had an attitude and rushed us, despite taking a hot minute to come to our table. When asked about the serving size of a dish and the difference between the lunch and dinner portion, she replied in an annoyed manner as if our question was stupid. Very dissatisfied with the food as well. French onion soup: extremely salty. Escargot with butter: salty and oily. You get charged an arm and a leg for terrible service and indigestible food.
