As someone who absolutely loves Italian cuisine--and who has been fortunate enough to dine in several regions throughout Italy--I had high expectations when I made a reservation here. Somehow, they exceeded every one of them! From the moment we arrived, the beautiful ambiance and warm, attentive service set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The wait staff was genuinely outstanding--among the best service we've experienced anywhere. The meal began with warm, flavorful focaccia served alongside olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. It was the perfect start. I ordered the beet salad with pistachio pesto, a combination I never would have imagined, yet every bite was fresh, vibrant, and incredibly delicious. My husband chose the Caprese salad made with creamy burrata, and it was equally exceptional. Then came the star of the evening--the ravioli. Without question, it was the best ravioli I've ever had, and that's saying something considering I've enjoyed wonderful pasta throughout Italy. The pasta was delicate and light, while the filling was rich and perfectly balanced. Fresh peas, beautifully prepared mushrooms, and an incredible sauce brought everything together in a dish that was both elegant and comforting. The mushrooms alone were some of the best I've ever tasted. To top off an already incredible evening, the restaurant surprised me with a complimentary birthday tiramisu. It was absolutely delicious and such a thoughtful touch that made the celebration even more special. This wasn't just a wonderful meal--it was a complete dining experience. Exceptional food, impeccable service, and a beautiful atmosphere make this a restaurant I'll gladly return to again and again. A pretty place that made for a nice dinner with friends. It's very easy to find... ask to be dropped off at the Mandalay Bay rideshare area and it's literally RIGHT THERE. I love an easy to find place in Vegas' huge resorts. Our table was ready for our early reservation. Our server was super friendly almost the entire time - we did challenge him a bit at the end. There were specials and we went there - the special pizza was a white pie which I'm a sucker for, and a lasagna. We went all in on those two. We also did the bread board for the table (15). The focaccia was very good, but no one really cared for the sourdough, which was whole grain and not that appealing. I thought we needed a salad so we shared the grilled peaches with whipped ricotta (22). Everyone should get this. It's delicious and comes with this fantastic puffy bread for scooping. Along with the pizza and lasagna, we had the lobster tagliatelle (68). All of our mains were very good. I don't think the portions are meant for sharing - these feel more like smaller individual plates. I feel like we ordered a lot but it still didn't feel like that much food. Given that, we shared the cherry crostata (18), which again was really good but we should have ordered two desserts I guess. Maybe we're just spoiled by the huge American style dining portions? Our meal came to around $300. We asked our server to split it 2/3 and 1/3 and he seemed to have no patience for that request at all. He was nice about it but clearly not supportive of our idea. I suppose I understand. Everything we had here was tasty. It's a nice room and we didn't fell smashed into a space nor was the music too loud or the wrong fit. Vegas was hot, we stumbled into Carama by Wolfgang Puck with no reservations or expectations on a Thursday night. Didn't want a super heavy pasta, the ravioli was a great delicate pasta ($33). The sauce had a refreshing lemon taste. The scallops($60) were plump, the risotto was a little more al dente than my taste. The service was good. The vodka tonic ($19) was refreshing. Caramá is Cara-mazing! We made a reservation prior to a concert at Allegiant. Right when we were seated they asked if we were going to see a show, so they could make sure we were out on time. I got the Rigatoni Bolognese. My SO went with the Chicken Saltimbocca. Astonishingly, the food was out in just about 10 minutes, and piping hot. The pasta was al dente, and the bolognese sauce was delicious. For dessert we tried the pistachio gelato. It was good, but quite rich. The service was outstanding, thanks to our waiter Fen. Such a delightful experience. We came here with a reservation at 5:30. They seated us, and right away we had fantastic service. We had a server and a server assistant. The manager, Gianni, helped us pick a wine. He did t a little wine tasting with us, and it was great. He introduced us to some fantastic wines. The food is phenomenal. Everything was prepared perfectly and executed well. We got a little of everything. The bread, the cheese (so many to choose from), pasta, fish, broccoli. The fra diavolo pasta was my favorite. The pasta is house made. They make it to the perfect level of al dente. Inside it feel elegant without being pretentious. There are lots of tables for groups large and small. I love that they have circular tables. It makes it so much easier to chat with a larger group. You can sit at the bar and have a great cocktail. We experienced the professionalism and pride of the staff from check in, to being seating and our server(s). I watched the servers and the staff and the moved like watching a well oiled machine. I didn't order a bottle of wine, thinking that we'd be having drinks at the House of Blues so we both ordered gin & tonics, Tanqueray 10 for her, and Hendricks for me. We ordered the Mixed Artisanal Bread Board ($15), Baby Beet Salad ($25), and the Tagliatelle Pasta with Spanish Black Truffles ($85). A server poured olive oil and balsamic into a small dish when she delivered the bread board. There were three types: breadsticks, rosemary focaccia, and whole grain sourdough. I liked the latter, a nice, crisp crust, soft inside. Pieces of beets surrounded a round of buffalo mozzarella. They were topped with frisee, pistachio nuts and pesto, and a dressing of aged balsamic and olive oil. It was a visual and taste treat. The Tagliatelle Pasta was prepared tableside; our server shaved a generous amount of black truffle over the creamy cheese coated pasta. The aroma of truffle was intoxicating! We enjoyed our food in a relatively quiet environment with subdued lighting. We shared Traditional Tiramisu for dessert and coffee for me. The meal was very good but not outstanding ... We had a 9:30pm reservation and were seated right away. The host let us know last call was coming up soon, which I appreciated. The ambiance was clean and upscale, and they have a beautiful bar. We ordered the beef carpaccio, spaghetti chitarra fra diavolo, and linguine alle vongole. Everything was beautifully presented. The beef carpaccio was good especially with the mustard sauce, but the arugula was a little overpowering and made the dish slightly bitter. The biggest disappointment was the spaghetti fra diavolo. It lacked flavor and honestly tasted like canned tomato sauce. The linguine alle vongole was our favorite dish. It had great clam flavor and both pasta dishes were cooked perfectly al dente. My only complaint was that there were exactly seven clams in the dish which felt a little underwhelming given the price. The service was efficient and friendly throughout the meal. I also appreciated how accommodating the servers were with requests for extra condiments like parmesan cheese and chili flakes for the pasta. The experience wasn't bad but the flavors didn't quite live up to my expectations. Knowing it's a Wolfgang Puck restaurant, I was expecting a lot more and left feeling a bit disappointed. read more

While attending a conference in the adjacent convention space, several colleagues, my wife, and I dined at Carama. We secured a reservation several days in advance and good thing as it was packed for a Monday night at 6pm. The five of us were seated at a round table near the walkway. We started with some bourbons from their extensive menu and glasses of red wine. We also ordered a bread tray to start as well. All arrived quickly and we were off to a great start. Two of us got the meatball pasta dish, others got two pizzas, and a grilled swordfish. The meatballs were huge, bigger than a golf ball but smaller than a tennis ball. Hands down the table favorite. The pizzas were also good and I had no trouble finishing one by myself. Also got a thumbs up for the swordfish. For desserts, we ordered Zeppole fritters and stracciatella, which is a vanilla gelato served with a hot dark chocolate drizzle along with a second round of drinks. Both were recommended by the staff. We enjoyed our meal and chatting each other up. The restaurant is loud though so carrying a conversation can be tricky. Service was great and attentive. "Beyond my expectations" is a good way to sum up Carama. We landed here with no prior research . We ate at the bar - friendly service that was quite fast.. The meal was spectacular. One clams linguini, one lobster risotto, and one charred octopus. Each was outstanding. Got a bottle of $60 Sangiovese (yeah they did try to upsell me a little and there is an extensive wine list, but you can get some inexpensive gems on it). Dessert was even better. The gelato was deep and rich and dense. But the true hi light was the Amalfi lemon illusion cake!!! it looks to all outside views as a real lemon - but it's actually a combination of a cake in lemon emulsion that is beyond anything I've ever experienced . This time around I got a reservation for my birthday and AGAIN I was blown away by the consistent exceptional service. I visit Vegas often and tried alot of restaurants on the strip and am highly critical. Not all restaurants have a good balance between good service and culinary experience.... it is few and far between. Many pretend to offer high quality dining experience but they fall short. So far this restaurant has ticked all the boxes and makes me want to come back to Vegas. I love the service of this restaurant from the host to the waiter/waitress to the bartenders to the server assistants including the manager as well as the general manager. They go above and beyond. You can tell the management does a very good job from top down and the staff seem genuinely happy to be working there. There is a positive vibe. I have tried almost all the cocktails and they are pretty strong and creatively made. I have tried many of the appetizers and they were all great. The branzino was cooking amazingly. It was very fresh and the sauce was well balanced. The octopus appetizer was exceptional. Very tender meat and well balanced flavor profile. The pistachio lava dessert is a must. The atmosphere inside strikes a really nice balance, it felt relaxed but still polished, with a moody, modern look that can easily lean to romantic depending on the moment. The service stood out immediately. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, professional, and patient. No one rushed us and they took the time to answer questions and explain the menu in a way that felt helpful rather than rehearsed. They were also very accommodating. I asked for a Sidecar cocktail even though it wasn't on the menu, and they made it without hesitation. It came out beautifully done and tasted exactly how it should. We ordered family style so we could try a variety of dishes, and I'm really glad we did because every single thing we tasted was excellent! The pizza was a highlight! The marinara had great depth of flavor and the dough itself was so well made that it stood out on its own. The steaks were cooked exactly to our requested temperatures, which sounds simple but is something that can be missed at restaurants. Here, it was done perfectly! What impressed me most was that some of the dishes had combinations that might seem unexpected at first, but everything worked together so well! There's definitely a level of skill and thought behind all the menu items, and it shows. There honestly wasn't a single thing I would have changed about the experience and meal. Between the food, service, and overall feel of the space, it all came together seamlessly. I would absolutely recommend Caramá and would go back without hesitation for any occasion! You know when you go to certain genres of restaurants and you have to try something regular to get a feel of it? Well one of mine is calamari. I think this may be the best calamari I've had. Incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. I wish I was hungry enough to get twelve things on the menu but I just got that and the Pizza alla Salsiccia which was also great. I sat at the bar and the ambiance was very nice. I met some really great people there and had a great time. The staff was quick and helpful. The restaurant didn't open until 5:00, but they let us come inside at 4:30 and sit at the bar and order drinks. We looked at the menu ahead of time so when it was 5:00, we ordered right away and got food pretty quickly, so we could make our flight departure. All the food and drinks were incredible. I'm a vegetarian and got the butternut squash ravioli and loved it. The fried sage and crumbled hazelnuts absolutely made the dish. My coworker got a steak and was in heaven. The prices are typical high Vegas prices, so come prepared for that. The wait staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the interior of the restaurant was beautifully decorated. They were very accommodating to our chaotic party lol Our server, Christian, was charming and hospitable. He made great suggestions and gave us ample time to look over the menu and decide. We shared bread, 2 apps, 1 pizza, 3 pastas, and a 24oz dry aged rib eye (bone in) to share with our party, family style. Everything tasted great. The only thing I would pass on is the bread, which was unremarkable imo. The 2 apps we got were the calamari and fennel/arugula salad. Calamari was so juicy and tender! I know it's such a basic menu item but I swear it could've been my favorite dish of the night. 3 pastas: mushroom gnocchi, rigatoni bolognese, and the clam linguine were good. I think the rigatoni bolognese was my least favorite but I'm just not a big fan of bolognese. Clam linguine was THE BOMB! Perfectly al dente linguine, sauce was PERFECTLY balanced and tasted a little creamy but still a light base. The dry aged ribeye was seriously buttery soft, melt in your mouth delicious. 24 oz (bone in) was enough for 6 adults to have a slice. The only thing is it took so much longer than the other dishes so we had to wait after we finished everything else just for the ribeye. We originally wanted the 32oz porterhouse but they had run out so our server suggested the dry aged ribeye instead. Will def be back to try the porterhouse next time. read more

Was in Vegas for a family vacation and to visit with other loved ones who live in Vegas. Decided to make reservations for dinner for six of us before going to see the Cirque Du Soleil Michael Jackson One Show. This was our first time here at this wonderful Wolfgang Puck establishment. The servers were top tier! I mean, very detailed and on top of it. I absolutely loved how they asked if we had any time constraints. We told them that we needed to be out of there by 6:30 as we had a show to attend. They made sure they got us out of there by 6:15 so that we can make it to the show and get seated on time. I appreciate the warm and welcoming hospitality of the staff. Half of our party ordered the lasagna, one ordered the shrimp and pasta, another ordered the meatballs, and one ordered the rigatoni. Everything's looked beautiful, but if I can be honest, the lasagna was only a 2 out of 5. This particular lasagna was made with no layered cheese between the pasta and the meat. Just grated cheese on top, my personal opinion is that lasagna is best made and served with layered pasta, meat, cheese and sauce. Not having cheese in between the layers of pasta meat made for a very unflavored lasagna. It was not my favorite. However I did enjoy my glass of wine. I would definitely return to this restaurant, but I would not order the lasagna again. The ambiance of the restaurant and the great staff made this a wonderful time. read more

One of the best dining experiences I've had in Vegas! We were seeing a show at Mandalay so decided to have dinner at Carama. We had reservations at 7pm and were quickly seated. Inside, the vibe is elevated, modern but not stuffy. Apps: Cesar salad 5/5 and tuna tartar 5/5. Both apps came out within a few minutes and were delicious. I loved the large leaves in the salad and the tuna tartar paired well with the crispy bread. Entree: I was on the fence about ordering the linguine 5/5 (Manila clams, white wine, parsley) but am soooo glad I did!! The sauce was creamy yet light and not heavy. Pasta was cooked al dente and the Manila clams were perfect for this dish. We also ordered the tagliatelle & meatballs 5/5 which was also a wonderful entree. Note: it's 2 huge meatballs! Shareable size. The manager (I think) came out to say congratulations to us (we were celebrating a special occasion) mid meal so that was kind. After we finished our food, he came out again with complimentary celebratory drinks and stated that it was non-alcoholic since he noticed we didn't order any alcohol drinks. A typical celebrity chef restaurant where you end up paying mostly for the name and not so much for the food. Their charcuterie board was pretty mediocre, cheese was rather underwhelming. They forgot to put prosciutto initially but eventually brought a second plate over after i pointed it out. The pasta (Spaghetti Chitarra Fra Diavolo) was also pretty mediocre. Dish would've been better off without the capers (which to me was overly salty). I pushed them all aside. When we arrived, it was 3 out of 5 of us. We told the hostess and she made adjustments easily. We were asked if we wanted a round table or a square one. That's the first I've ever been asked that. Once sat, we ordered drinks and bread as we waited for our boss. He was paying the bill and likes to order all the apps for the table, so we didn't want to order without him. Compliments to the chef! We, however, were not thrilled with the service. OK.. Last night in Vegas and raining so we opted to eat at the hotel. I read mixed reviews about this place and other Wolfgang place I ate I wasn't too big of a fan. So i figure we in Vegas so why not gamble.. I was able to make reservation for 6:15 PM at around 1pm so that worked out. Restaurant was nice, clean, and loved the layout of the restaurant. Having the deli display and section to cut the deli gave the blockage to keep the noise level to comfortable level. Wifey got the curtain call that gave you nice choice of appetizer, pasta dish and dessert. She ordered the calamari, Rigatoni Ragu, and pastachio Gelato. I ordered the Caesar salad, focaccia bread, and linguini alle vongole. One thing I didnt not like is that we saw the curtain call menu up front but waiter did not bring the menu and had to ask for it. Caesar salad... Oh my... Probably one of the best Caesar salad we have had. Creamy dressing with some nice selection of difference lettuce, so yummy. I laughed when I saw that side order of focaccia bread was $5 but now I know why.. Darn thing was so yummy if it was free people be ordering in dozen . It was light, airy, fluffy, crunchy, and chewy. Also nice touch of rosemary on top. I really had high hope at this point and I was dying to try out my linguini alle volonge. My favorite place for this dish is Andreoli Italian Grocery and other place in Rome. Presentation was nice and I expected this dish to be small. My first bite, I was little confused, because I tasted tart like flavor probably squeezed lemon maybe and little bit of creamy texture from the dish. Pasta was cooked al dente which was yummy. I feel like it was lacking in some clam flavor. It was still pretty good but it was not up to my part and expectation. Rigatoni Ragu was also very yummy. Pretty good portion and filled with flavor. Nice meaty sauce with perfect al dente pasta. Pastachio Gelato was top notch for flavor and creamy texture. Only thing was that I wish it wasn't as sweet. But for Gelato on state side it was pretty darn good. Over all the service was top notch, I love the staff working as team attending to the table constantly. I practically did not know who my waiter was because we had so many different people coming and attending to our table. Over all food was great, service was top notch. For the cost it is little on the high end for the portion but quality makes up for it. Don't come here if you are expecting big family size dish. I would definitely come back here again. read more

We ate dinner here shortly after arriving on our first night in Vegas. We sat at the bar to avoid the wait as we were starving. Our waiter promptly took our drink and food order. I got a glass of Rose wine while we waiting for our food. The staff were personable and friendly. The restaurant had an elegance but casual approach. Our food came out in ample time - we ordered the Pizza Margarita and Grilled Swordfish. Both were incredible and so flavorful! For dessert we got the Lemon Illusion Cake, and loved it! So unique! Great restaurant to go to for a decent price! So I know Vegas restaurants inside hotels are pricey but for about 60ish bucks you can get a great tasting dinner. Servers are always great and very personable, they helped us to pick our meals since we didn't know much about authentic Italian cuisine. We had the veal osso bucco and gnocchi. What a great experience! From the moment we walked in, everything was outstanding. The service was attentive without being overbearing, the ambiance was elegant and welcoming, and the food exceeded our expectations. The branzino was absolutely delicious. The shrimp diavola had incredible flavor and just the right amount of heat. The chicken saltimbocca was excellent, and the spaghetti with meatballs was hands down the best we've ever had. The desserts took everything to another level. The lemon dessert presentation was so realistic it felt like we were on an episode of "Is It Cake?" It was creative, fun, and tasted just as amazing as it looked. Wolfgang Puck and the team at Caramá have created something special. What a great experience! Tried Caramá for the first time on October 16, 2025. The place is a very large modern looking, but cozy Italian restaurant with plenty of seating. SERVICE: We showed up with 9 people and it was going to be a long wait but the hostess at the front was super nice and did what she could to get us in quickly. The servers at the table were also very friendly and attentive and helped us pick the right entrees and drinks. FOOD: WOW! From the starter bread to the main courses...everything tasted fresh and delicious. Excellent experience for this first timer. Located in Mandalay Bay, this is a Wolfgang Puck spot on the main floor. We are in Vegas for both a football game and to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We called to switch the reservation time and number of guests 5 different times over the past week due to constantly changing schedules and they were both kind and accommodating. The place is beautiful and laid out well. Quite fancy but not snooty. They have a gorgeous bar, offering tons of selections and some creative signature cocktails. They also have a Salumi bar that I was drooling over. Fresh sliced salami and prosciutto looked amazing. From the bread plate, to the prosciutto pizza, to the three beet salad, too the Chianti, and the meatball pasta..... we were blown away and quite full. Lovely presentation and dishes were well spaced allowing an unrushed evening. Their complimentary birthday tiramisú was also much appreciated. Very highly recommend. read more

Carama' is a newer restaurant by Wolfgang Puck in honor of his mother. Service was excellent! Staff took their time to describe the dish and gave personal recommendations. They were attentive to our drinks and food. All these small details gave such a positive experience. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and open. The place can get very busy because of guests attending sporting events and shows. We came at a good time. The food was delicious, but wished portions were a little bit larger.
