While attending a conference in the adjacent convention space, several colleagues, my wife, and I dined at Carama. We secured a reservation several days in advance and good thing as it was packed for a Monday night at 6pm. The five of us were seated at a round table near the walkway. We started with some bourbons from their extensive menu and glasses of red wine. We also ordered a bread tray to start as well. All arrived quickly and we were off to a great start. Two of us got the meatball pasta dish, others got two pizzas, and a grilled swordfish. The meatballs were huge, bigger than a golf ball but smaller than a tennis ball. Hands down the table favorite. The pizzas were also good and I had no trouble finishing one by myself. Also got a thumbs up for the swordfish. For desserts, we ordered Zeppole fritters and stracciatella, which is a vanilla gelato served with a hot dark chocolate drizzle along with a second round of drinks. Both were recommended by the staff. We enjoyed our meal and chatting each other up. The restaurant is loud though so carrying a conversation can be tricky. Service was great and attentive. Several individuals took excellent care of us the entire evening. They also gave us great menu recommendations.

"Beyond my expectations" is a good way to sum up Carama. We landed here with no prior research . We ate at the bar - friendly service that was quite fast.. The meal was spectacular. One clams linguini, one lobster risotto, and one charred octopus. Each was outstanding. Got a bottle of $60 Sangiovese (yeah they did try to upsell me a little and there is an extensive wine list, but you can get some inexpensive gems on it). Dessert was even better. The gelato was deep and rich and dense. But the true hi light was the Amalfi lemon illusion cake!!! it looks to all outside views as a real lemon - but it's actually a combination of a cake in lemon emulsion that is beyond anything I've ever experienced . The best dessert, easily hands-down that I've ever had. Truly unique and delicious. Memorable in fact. Not an inexpensive meal- but a great value.

Holy smokes What a pleasant surprise! Staying here at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and stopped into Caramá for the first time -- and it definitely won't be our last. Cinnamin & Arron were an amazing team and made sure every need was taken care of from start to finish. We started with the Caesar salad and the bread service, both absolutely phenomenal. For entrées, we had the sausage pizza, filet mignon, and the spring ravioli -- every dish was incredible. I highly recommend this spot if you're in Vegas. Stop in and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. The ambiance is super chill, the service was top-notch, and the food exceeded expectations!

Christian and Eric were great. Service amazing. We got there early, so it was quiet. It was filling up quick with a line when we left. Octopus was cooked perfectly. The fennel salad was a nice change from the normal Caesars salad . Mom like my lasagna more than her fish. We both enjoyed the pistachio lava cake and ice cream. Totally worth the visit with their handmade pastas!!

    Spaghetti Chitarra Fra Diavolo

We had a 9:30pm reservation and were seated right away. The host let us know last call was coming up soon, which I appreciated. The ambiance was clean and upscale, and they have a beautiful bar. We ordered the beef carpaccio, spaghetti chitarra fra diavolo, and linguine alle vongole. Everything was beautifully presented. The beef carpaccio was good especially with the mustard sauce, but the arugula was a little overpowering and made the dish slightly bitter. The biggest disappointment was the spaghetti fra diavolo. It lacked flavor and honestly tasted like canned tomato sauce. The linguine alle vongole was our favorite dish. It had great clam flavor and both pasta dishes were cooked perfectly al dente. My only complaint was that there were exactly seven clams in the dish which felt a little underwhelming given the price. The service was efficient and friendly throughout the meal. I also appreciated how accommodating the servers were with requests for extra condiments like parmesan cheese and chili flakes for the pasta. The experience wasn't bad but the flavors didn't quite live up to my expectations. Knowing it's a Wolfgang Puck restaurant, I was expecting a lot more and left feeling a bit disappointed.

I dined at Caramá last week for dinner with my family; we were a party of six. The atmosphere inside strikes a really nice balance, it felt relaxed but still polished, with a moody, modern look that can easily lean to romantic depending on the moment. The service stood out immediately. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, professional, and patient. No one rushed us and they took the time to answer questions and explain the menu in a way that felt helpful rather than rehearsed. They were also very accommodating. I asked for a Sidecar cocktail even though it wasn't on the menu, and they made it without hesitation. It came out beautifully done and tasted exactly how it should. We ordered family style so we could try a variety of dishes, and I'm really glad we did because every single thing we tasted was excellent! The pizza was a highlight! The marinara had great depth of flavor and the dough itself was so well made that it stood out on its own. The steaks were cooked exactly to our requested temperatures, which sounds simple but is something that can be missed at restaurants. Here, it was done perfectly! What impressed me most was that some of the dishes had combinations that might seem unexpected at first, but everything worked together so well! There's definitely a level of skill and thought behind all the menu items, and it shows. There honestly wasn't a single thing I would have changed about the experience and meal. Between the food, service, and overall feel of the space, it all came together seamlessly. I would absolutely recommend Caramá and would go back without hesitation for any occasion! I had so many more pictures but I guess there's a maximum that can be added, so not all were able to be included with my review, unfortunately.

    Calamari
    Pierce C.

You know when you go to certain genres of restaurants and you have to try something regular to get a feel of it? Well one of mine is calamari. I think this may be the best calamari I've had. Incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. I wish I was hungry enough to get twelve things on the menu but I just got that and the Pizza alla Salsiccia which was also great. I sat at the bar and the ambiance was very nice. I met some really great people there and had a great time. The staff was quick and helpful. I definitely will go back to check out more things on the menu!

Definitely the best meal we had in Vegas. Service is amazing- great suggestions and super friendly. The food was awesome. Started with the bread board and omg amazing. I love a good bread and it all was so delicious. That focaccia is the stuff of dreams. Pasta was great- my friend has the gnocchi which def was my fave but my tagliatelle was also delicious and was a really big portion. Def recommend if you're staying nearby.

Came here for dinner before heading to the airport with some co-workers, after we attended a work conference. The restaurant didn't open until 5:00, but they let us come inside at 4:30 and sit at the bar and order drinks. We looked at the menu ahead of time so when it was 5:00, we ordered right away and got food pretty quickly, so we could make our flight departure. All the food and drinks were incredible. I'm a vegetarian and got the butternut squash ravioli and loved it. The fried sage and crumbled hazelnuts absolutely made the dish. My coworker got a steak and was in heaven. The prices are typical high Vegas prices, so come prepared for that. The wait staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the interior of the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Definitely recommend eating a meal here if this place is within your budget.

We found this restaurant to be a standout in the many restaurant options at Mandalay Bay. The dining area is spacious and allows for large groups or seating for two. The server was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and giving us honest opinions on the right amount of food. The specialty cocktails were delicious. We started our meal with the Focaccia and Calamari Fritti. The entrees we selected were a lasagna special and Spaghetti Chitarra Fra Diavolo. For dessert, we shared a Illusione al Limone. I have one word for each of these selections, delicious! I would order them all again and can't wait to return.

È buonissimo!! What a way to start our Vegas trip with a very delicious meal, excellent service and just a classy ambience. Restaurant is located in the Mandalay Bay. This used to be another location of a Wolfgang puck restaurant. The waiter even explained the concept of the restaurant which is a love letter to his mother through recipes that reminded him of her. The food was delicious. I ordered the vongole and my mom ordered the Branzino. They even have a truffle menu to fancy up your dinner if you wanted to make it more upscale. So much flavor and each bite was perfect. Since it was my birthday, I got a birthday dessert which was a tiramisu that totally hit the spot. We also ordered another dessert unfortunately I don't remember what it was called. But it was mixed tableside with fresh dark chocolate. It's like a show to end a delicious meal. Prices were reasonable, especially knowing it's a Wolfgang Puck restaurant and it's in a casino.

    Rigatoni Bolognese (4/5)
    Monica H.

Ambiance, service, and food were all exceptional. I had a reso for a party of 9 in using 2 young toddlers in high chairs. They were very accommodating to our chaotic party lol Our server, Christian, was charming and hospitable. He made great suggestions and gave us ample time to look over the menu and decide. We shared bread, 2 apps, 1 pizza, 3 pastas, and a 24oz dry aged rib eye (bone in) to share with our party, family style. Everything tasted great. The only thing I would pass on is the bread, which was unremarkable imo. The 2 apps we got were the calamari and fennel/arugula salad. Calamari was so juicy and tender! I know it's such a basic menu item but I swear it could've been my favorite dish of the night. 3 pastas: mushroom gnocchi, rigatoni bolognese, and the clam linguine were good. I think the rigatoni bolognese was my least favorite but I'm just not a big fan of bolognese. Clam linguine was THE BOMB! Perfectly al dente linguine, sauce was PERFECTLY balanced and tasted a little creamy but still a light base. The dry aged ribeye was seriously buttery soft, melt in your mouth delicious. 24 oz (bone in) was enough for 6 adults to have a slice. The only thing is it took so much longer than the other dishes so we had to wait after we finished everything else just for the ribeye. We originally wanted the 32oz porterhouse but they had run out so our server suggested the dry aged ribeye instead. Will def be back to try the porterhouse next time.

Stopped by for a late dinner. The restaurant is good in size and the chair is comfortable. I used to dine here before it wa Carama. Our server was Ryan and he was very nice as well as the other servers helping. Food: My friends had wine and I ordered a barrel old fashioned. The old fashioned was not strong at all. Wished I could taste the bourbon more. Pesto Pizza Fried Calamari Rigatoni Bolognese Branzino Alla Piastra The food was delicious. I enjoyed the Branzino the best. So flavorful. Loved the lemon caper butter sauce.

The bread was the talk of the table. Unfortunately, I'm gluten-sensitive, so I had to admire it from afar, but my friends raved about it and continued talking about it for the rest of the trip. It's not complimentary, but according to everyone at the table, it's absolutely worth the price. The standout dish was the lamb quite possibly the best preparation I've ever had. It's one of those dishes you'll find yourself thinking about long after the meal is over. The scallops were also exceptional, perfectly cooked and melt-in-your-mouth tender. They are served on skewers with crostini between each scallop, which my friends loved, though gluten-free diners should be aware. You only get three scallops, but they're memorable. The house-made pasta was solid and showcased the quality and care Mother Wolf is known for. Sadly, we were too full to make it to dessert, but that's just another reason to return. If you're in Las Vegas, Mother Wolf is absolutely worth a visit. Between the incredible food, attentive service, and beautiful atmosphere, it feels like a quick trip to Rome. I've heard wonderful things about their Los Angeles location as well, and after this meal, it's definitely on my list.

Our server, Passion, provided great customer service and took care of us. Food highlights: focaccia, margherrita pizza and tiramisu. We ordered the short rib pasta but it honestly felt short and felt that a pasta with that much meat should probably be in ravioli style. The inside of the restaurant is very cute and stylish. I will say their music choice does not go well with the style of the restaurant. They kept playing clubbing music which didn't match the style of the restaurant - I felt like jazz or some frank sinatra would make more sense.

For example, for Veal Marsala I greatly prefer well-pounded scallops of veal rather than veal off the bone. So, I opted for Veal Parmesan instead, which was good but still served with a bone. Said a server to me, "Aren't you going to eat the bone?" and I answered, "Why? Do I look like a dog?" "No," he replied. "Meat on the bone is the best part." So, I gnawed on the bone a little bit, and I concede that the meat I encountered was indeed tasty. But Diane reported that her Fettuccine Alfredo was slightly overcooked. Far more impressive than our entrees were the free preliminaries that were brought en masse to our table at the outset of our meal: a Bread Basket with Sesame Seed Bread and Tomato Focaccia, delicious Italian Salami, chunks of Parmesan, and Pickled Cauliflower, followed by light and golden Calamari Marco. Tortellini in Brodo Soup filled with Swiss Chard and Foie Gras was good but too salty. A Caesar Salad prepared tableside was very fresh with finely grated Parmesan Cheese spilled over the Romaine leaves like snow. A fine side was Potatoes Louie, soft and tender sauteed potatoes. We were warned by an assistant server that we were probably ordering too much dessert, and he was right. But we thought we were ordering individual desserts. It turned out that each of them could have easily served three or four diners. The four of us did ultimately each try different desserts in the end. They were Chocolate Cherry Blackout Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Carrot Cake, and Lemon Cheesecake. Each was an excellent example of the type of dessert it represented. Service was excellent. Our captain just forgot to bring requested Marinara Sauce for the Calamari besides the spicy aioli that was tasty enough that I no longer wanted any other sauce. Owner Laura sat us right away, Augusto served us and hit on all 8 cylinders. From the wine selection, Castelli Red Italian Blend we were doted over like we were the only table! Started with some fantastic bread. Then apps. We had a fabulous Eggplant Ripeni, stuffed with Ricotta it was delicious. Then Chef Laura brought out an Arancini appetizer that I can only describe as decadent! Stuffed with Cheese, topped with a Garlic Aioli and Braised Short Rib that was delightful. It was perfectly cooked and had just a hint of Saffron. So good! Then our Entrees. Ravioli Funghi Tartuffo. Perfectly creamy and still light sauce with just enough Truffle and Porcinni to tantalize the tastebuds and leave you wanting more as you are licking the plate! Next up is the Veal Colleta Milano. A specialty of our Chefs home town. Pro tip order this one to share! Tender Provimi Veal expertly breaded and sautéed in Butter! Topped with Arugula and fresh Tomatoes and Shaved Pecorino cheese. Yes it was cooked to perfection and so memorable, my new menu favorite! We never made it to dessert but we lounged and wined in the absolutely gorgeous dining room and we enjoyed ourselves immensely! Thank you Chef for bringing us your new appetizer ti try out it was beyond delicious!
