It was so nice to skip the rehearsed wine spiel; we somehow ended up spending half an hour talking about cars (so random but so fun). All of us appreciated the break from the usual scripted tasting experience, and honestly, it honestly felt like hanging out with a friend. Loved it here. Definitely coming back!

She hosted an impromptu industry tasting that ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. Thoughtful, engaging, and clearly passionate about the wines and the Regusci story, she made the entire experience feel both personal and elevated. The tour itself was excellent. The grounds are beautiful and have that authentic Napa character that feels both historic and relaxed at the same time. It is the kind of place you want to linger. A special thank you as well to Peter and Marci (some of their top buyers) for reinforcing what was already clear. I was overdue for a return visit. Message received - and well worth the stop. Between the fantastic service, the quality of the wines, and the genuine hospitality, this is a winery that absolutely delivers. The grounds are well manicured, history all around. Cabernet dominates the tasting menu but there is a wine for every palate. We tasted through at least 6 wines and enjoyed each one. Our favorite was the Block 3 and of course I made sure some came home us. Regusci is a well known winery in Napa. A definite choice for a great wine tasting experience.

Smooth like butter, really. The Chardonnay is citrusy and creamy which is how I prefer my Chards (although I don't mind buttery every now and again). The Pinot stole my heart. It was a mix of everything that I adore: floral, fruit forward, round, and it has this amazing lingering finish that it just like woooow. Loved it to absolute pieces. Honestly, I enjoyed every single wine that I tried. Even the Merlot was tasty and I've never been much of a Merlot gal, but dayum. The wines are truly undeniable. Such a wonderful experience here. I will definitely be back for more of that delicious wine and to hear more funny stories.

My mom likes Cabernet Sauvignon. I definitely recommend this vineyard if you are along the Silverado Trail, most of the wineries along STATE Road 29 are very commercialized and these along this trail are very quiet and personable and they have a great experience and the grounds are also very pretty. I went home with three bottles, '24 estate Chardonnay (crisp, neutral oak, had to have a glass after tasting), '21 Oakville cab, and the '21 reserve cab (absolutely outstanding, I nursed this pour for a while) Highly recommend! We were there on a recent Sunday for a 2:25 tasting and were seated in a table in the ornate tasting room. There was a carafe of water and bread sticks on the table. There were three tables and a large table of eight in the middle of the room. The room opens up to a beautiful garden. We were here for A Taste of Groth experience and were greeted by Curt who was our host for the tasting. Curt was personable and gave us a history of the Groth, which was founded by the former CFO of Atari, the video game company. For the tasting we were served a Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Proprietary Red and a bonus pour of the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. All the wines were delicious with my favorites being the Reserve Cabernet for the red and Sauvignon Blace for the white. Curt was informative and explained the background of each wine that was poured. We were invited to take our last pour and enjoy in the garden and winery grounds. We had a great tasting experience in our tasting of the delicious Groth wines. It was enjoyable two hour visit. We now know what is Groth and its history from our great pourer, Curt.

They've only been there for a year I believe, but from the outside to the inside, everything is purposely selected and placed. And the bathroom! Yes you read that right, the bathroom is impressive. Probably what stuck out to me the most was the wine glasses used for the flight tasting. These glasses are exquisite. While I don't remember the exact dollar figure, they use German glassware that was 100 a pop, and each glass was selected based on enhancing which wine was being tasted. The first glass on the left was what we started with, which was a white, and as you go toward the right you transition into the bulbous fishbowl type glassware typically used to drink reds. The flight tasting was 75 which is pricey, and their flagship red is quite expensive in my opinion. However, you like what you like and if you enjoy it then it's meant for you. This is a great place and I'll most definitely visit again when I'm back in Napa.

My friends and I have been loyal customers for years, and through referrals from Ryan Avila, our group collectively accounts for approximately $150,000+ in wine purchases in the industry, today, I brought a friend who purchases 50k a year and his first intro will make the last into. Ryan's exceptional service and passion for the winery have been a key reason for our continued support and the referrals we've made. However, during our most recent visit, we were deeply disappointed by the service we received in Ryan's absence. We understand there may have been some internal challenges, but the experience without him was far below the standard we've come to expect at O'Brien. It's important to us that our loyalty is reciprocated with the quality of service we've grown accustomed to.  Given the pivotal role Ryan has played in our relationship with the winery, we are concerned that without him, we won't be able to continue our patronage in the same way.
