Kilowatt Sliders, Chips & Beer Queso & Salsa, lone star margarita and cherry vanilla wheat beer.
Ashley J.

This is our second time at Boulder Damn Brewing Co! Staff is always friendly. 2 wonderful young ladies keeping busy and and making sure they are attentive to all guests! It's very clean and homey. We ordered the chips with queso and salsa, kilowatt sliders with no bacon jam (thank you for the substitution since I don't eat pork :) ) . My husband ordered the cherry wheat ale and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor! Not overwhelming . They brewery was having a drink special on the lone star margarita and that baby was crisp! It's quiet enough to enjoy your meal but you can still have a conversation without interrupting other guests! We love coming here when we visit Boulder City ! Thanks for having us!

Second time here and still just as amazing! The food is really good and the service is fast and friendly every time. We love that you can call ahead and make a reservation whether you want to sit indoors or outside. They also offer free WiFi just ask the host or check the info posted in store. My family always gets the Philly cheesesteak and we upgrade to onion rings and sweet potato instead of regular fries so good every time! This has officially become our go to spot whenever we're visiting the VA cemetery nearby. Always a great experience highly recommend!

Triple berry cider

My family and I drove out to spend a Saturday afternoon wandering around Boulder City and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. We ended up at Boulder Dam brewing company and it was a tad busy but nothing crazy. After about 5-10 minutes we were sat and waited a bit for a menu. For drinks I opted to try the triple berry cider. It was quite tasty and I love when they come on draft. As far as food my husband and I split the brewpub nachos and the club sandwich. It took a bit which was expected because they were a bit busy. I can honestly say the best part of the meal were the French fries. They were great, hot and crispy. As far as the rest of the food goes, for the price I was not impressed. The nachos were small portion and kind of threw together. The sandwich was very dry. Overall I think it's really cool that they have Nevada brews to try and a plentiful drink menu, but I don't think I would be back for a meal. Unfortunately nothing stood out.

The food here was good and they had some fantastic brews. Wait staff was engaging and food came quickly. Bathrooms were clean and large. Very friendly customers as well where we learned cool things to do in the area.

My favorite brewery located in the small historic quaint little town of Boulder City!! Service is always great, they offer a good variety of beers to choose from and the food is pretty good too! The wings are my favorite! Must stop when visiting the Hoover Dam or when completing a local hike! You won't be disappointed

Brewery in the middle of Boulder City. Came for a cold beer which hit the spot. Service was a bit slow. Didn't eat the food as we had already had lunch. Nice outside patio.

Shandy!

This Dam Brewing Co is in such a cute little town. Very small indoor seating but they do have a large outdoor patio. We ordered the shandy. So refreshing and tasty. I wasn't hungry but once we found out they had cheese curds we were IN! OMG! So so so good. I went back later that evening to got more but they were closed. . You need to visit this brewery. You won't be disappointed.

We had friends visiting from Alaska and decided to do a bit of hiking at Valley of Fire. What's better than a lunch in Boulder City at the Brewery?? We had our 2 dogs with us and we Sat down outside on the patio. I love that they are pet friendly and almost everyone had a dog or two. After getting our menus, the server asked whether we wanted a beef patty put on for our dogs and brought bowls of water for each. The menu has a wide variety of wings, sandwiches, burgers, salads, as well as bratwurst. Over all the food was great! Plenty of beer options also.

Ernie C.

They always have a great sangria here! Every time we've been here it's been for the wine walk. It seems like the service is great and the food looks yummy. The vibe seems fun. I know that sometimes they have events with live music outside during the summer months.

As many who have been to Boulder City know, they roll up the sidewalks pretty early at night and although it's a delightful town, there's only a short list of things to do once the sun goes down. That said, after a 12 hour workday in the desert heat, the things I could count on was the quick walk, cheap drinks and the friendly conversations that can be found at Maxx's bar. I've been here a couple times now this week already, but tonight I stopped by after 12 hours in the sun, a Panda Bowl and a shower to grab a few drinks. As I walked down the street I could hear loud music playing and figured they just had the speakers up more than usual, but as I walked up I noticed a singer on the patio. He was singing some classics from my days, but with a raegae twist and it was quite pleasant to hear and see, especially alongside the crowd having fun outside. I really appreciate the fact that they have live music on Wednesdays. I walked in and parked my awkward butt on a barstool and was welcomed in by Kristen. She asked me what I'd like and she quickly served me my order. It felt nice being an outsider in the community, but still feeling welcomed and I was fortunate to be able to share a casual conversation with Kristen. Throughout the evening, she was very attentive and kept the beverages flowing while also tending to patrons both inside as well as on the patio enjoying the live music. This is obviously a bar with quite a few regulars, but that's what I love about bars back home and it made me feel very welcome. I enjoyed watching some game highlights on TV and took the time to catch up on emails and texts from earlier in the day. All around, this is a fantastic bar to stop by whether you're passing through or staying in town for a few days. As someone who appreciates consistency and routine, I definitely hope to be back soon and enjoy another relaxing evening at Maxx's. Two thumbs up for Kristen and the Maxx's team!

Strong coffee, excellent and friendly service, giant plates served up of breakfast enchiladas and carnitas benedict with chipotle hollandaise atop the most gorgeous, golden jalapeño cornbread. I have to place emphasis on how amazing the cornbread was! I don't even want to know how much butter or oil is in it, but the moist, fluffy texture was incredible and the chunks of corn and jalapeño gave an added punch. The breakfast enchiladas come with delicious fried potato chunks and damn, they are tasty! Fried up with peppers and onions, they had a crispy outside and real flavor that made me steal my friend's food to have some. The price is great and serving portions could feed 1.5-2 people. Again, friendly staff and a great pitstop on the way to Hoover Dam. Next time, I want to try the pumpkin pancakes.

I would as the menu is extensive and there were several other choices I want to try.

Every item I've ordered is better than the rest. Today, for example, ordering breakfast potatoes, they were not greasy, nor overly seasoned and not overly crispy as they can be at other places when they sit there all morning.... These are crispy but still soft inside. Service is amazing. All severs have a wonderful way to be welcoming and truly menu experts. A+ here The chips that came with my fish and chips were excellent. Was told there home made. Tasty and crispy. Well seasoned The creme brulee, which were also homemade, was very smooth with perfect consistency. The crust was thick. I didn't mind because I have a sweet tooth and enjoy crunchy texture. That said, I think for most people it would direct from the overall experience. The not so great: my fish in the fish and chips. The fish itself was good quality, but I didn't think it was seasoned at all and the batter was thick. Unfortunatelly disappointing. To be fair. my family enjoyed their chicken burger and pulled pork. With little to no background, we were surprised at all of the "As seen on Food Network" labels next to several menu items. It was hard to choose with so many lunch and breakfast options, but we settled on the Godfather Omelette with a waffle and the Meatloaf & Eggs. The Godfather was like a pizza inside of eggs. A very generous and tasty portion. The upgraded side of a waffle was well worth the price; fluffy, thick, and well flavored of vanilla. It's honestly a perfected classic, and the best waffle we've had in a while. The Meatloaf & Eggs were also great. The waitresses were so kind and personable. Very well equipped to handle a crowd and acquaintanced with many locals, addressing them by name. Our coffees and waters were consistently topped. This is a family-owned, family-run staple breakfast and lunch destination for locals and people around the globe. It has also been featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I had the Papa Con Chili Verde with hashbrowns. This dish is made with Pork Chili Verde, cheddar cheese, pepper jack, pico de gallo, and flour or corn tortillas. I added an over-easy egg as well. The hash browns had a really nice crunch and good seasoning. The egg was cooked perfectly with a nice runny yolk. The cheese added some gooey texture, a little salt, and a bit of bite, while the peppers added a nice crunch to each bite. The pico also added a bright, fresh texture to the dish. The Pork Verde was beautiful, with great spice and juiciness, tender yet with a good chew. The entire dish works well together, and it was hard to stop eating it. I also sampled their biscuit with homemade gravy. The biscuit was light and airy with great texture, chew, and flavor. It was buttery and fresh. The gravy was seasoned really well, with big chunks of well-seasoned sausage that weren't overpowering, along with sage and other seasonings. The gravy was thick enough to stand up in its own, but not so thick that it had the consistency of glue. Perfect, flavorful, and amazing are about the only ways I could describe it. My wife had the B.L.T.E. on sourdough with home fries. This sandwich is served with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and egg. The sourdough was thick-cut and lightly toasted, with a light flavor, crunch, and great chew. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, bright, and both had a great texture. The eggs were well fried and seasoned. The bacon was medium-thick, cooked to perfection with crunch, chew, and a great salty flavor. The home fries came in a huge portion, were well seasoned, but were undercooked and had an unwanted crunch. They also came with grilled onions, which tasted good, but I'm not sure why they were put on top of the potatoes rather than cooked along with them. Coffee Cup has a full menu for both breakfast and lunch. They serve loads of burgers, wraps, sandwiches, plate meals, burritos, omelets, diner classics, and sides. They have a full bar and serve beer. The staff was extremely nice, and the service and food were quick. The Fat Man says that The Coffee Cup Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 3 chins.

This review is based on three separate visits and each visit's order was for two people (i.e. two…read moremeals). Wait Time: Between all three visits, there was an average wait time of 20-30 minutes. When we arrived to the window to pay on our first visit, we were told to take a lap around the drive-thru and that our order would be ready upon our return. It turned out we arrived to the window and waited about 20 minutes before we received our order. Order: With the wait time in mind, please remember that Rome wasn't built in a day--so don't expect a quality meal to be ready within five minutes. With that being said, we ordered the 1). double cheeseburger with fries, 2). crispy chicken sandwich with fries, 3). fish and chips, 4). chicken tenders, 5). a strawberry shake, and 6). a chocolate shake between our three visits. The quality across all three visits was consistent and detailed here: 1). The Double Cheeseburger was cooked to our doneness preference. The bun was toasted with light butter and a slight crunch to the bite. The patties were juicy and well-seasoned. The cheese was evenly melted on the patties. The condiments did not overpower the patties' flavor. The toppings were the standard lettuce, tomato, and onions--which worked harmoniously with the rest of the burger, making for one of the best burgers I have ever had. Upon first glance, it meets my expectations of what a burger should be. 2). Much like the Double Cheeseburger, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich was of excellent quality. All of its components worked collectively to deliver in flavor and texture, including the toasted bun with the slight crunch. It was a perfect Crispy Chicken Sandwich. 3). The Fries were flavorful (fry seasoning, salt), crinkle cut, and evenly fried throughout (i.e. you did not have some hard pieces and some soggy pieces). We recommend a side of ranch for dipping. 4). The Fish and Chips were your standard Fish and Chips--and I mean that in the best way. They were fried until the classic golden and served with tartar sauce. Again, everything you would expect out of Fish and Chips. 5). While the Chicken Tenders were good, they were not outstanding. We would not order them again due to the other superior items on the menu. 6). The Strawberry Shake was flavored with fresh strawberries and like the Chicken Tenders, it was not outstanding. The Chocolate Shake was a classic Chocolate Shake. If you are craving a shake, then go for it. Otherwise, there isn't anything that would separate these shakes from another good quality shake. Both shakes leaned toward a thicker consistency. Note: The medium sized shakes are huge. If we ever get one again in the future, we will order a small instead. Service: We felt welcomed during each visit and did not feel rushed at the intercom (all three of our visits were through the drive-thru). Prior to visiting, we were unsure of what to expect with the mixed reviews and ultimately decided that we would just find out for ourselves. We are so grateful that we made the choice to try Chilly Jilly'z, because it is now one of our favorite spots in Southern Nevada. We definitely recommend that you give it a try!
