They also make bagel sandwiches. I'd visit more if they were not tucked away on Lexington, but just off the freeway, less out of my way. I had the Sultani, which was a combination of charbroiled beef rib eye and ground beef served with grilled tomatoes. The kabobs were delicious. I stopped in here on a Saturday morning after getting my Mani/Pedi a few doors down. I was pleasantly pleased and even bought some bagels to home take home for the week. The employees were incredibly nice and pleasant. One thing that was even more pleasing and a pleasant surprise was the great tasting coffee. It rocked! Not too strong, not too weak, but just right. It's often hard to find a great cup of coffee, even from Starbucks and I mean, just plain coffee. The coffee alone will make me a return customer. I will be back and recommend it highly. Boulevard is not a flashy place; snuggled in between a mobile phone repair shop and an ice cream shop facing Lexington Blvd. They offer up a delicious homemade bagel that can be converted to a sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese is my favorite) or simply served with cream cheese. I think most folks will like the non-commercial feel of this place (I'm not knocking on Einstein's). The only gripe I have with this place is they have a slight wait. They know me by name I come in so often during the week on my way to work. Very friendly and consistent. I always get a plain bagel toasted with egg and bacon. They'e made a bunch of changes since buying it, and at first I was not happy and boycotted, but now I'm a regular again. Great coffee with choice of real whole milk or half and half. My family was in from San Antonio and stopped in. I ordered a vanilla latte with my bagel to go and after leaving a generous tip discovered that there was no vanilla in the coffee. So I went back in and nicely explained that there wasn't any vanilla in the latte hoping she would just fix it. Instead she told me there was even, though she had not filled the order. She then told me that I need to stir it and gave me a spoon. When my mouth dropped she offered to as she showed me an inch with her fingers to give me a little more. A friend brought me here because she loves the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, and her and her husband both love the coffee! I didn't order the same thing they did, I was not sure what to order, the very nice woman named Amina said she would make me a bagel with kabob. (This was not an item in the menu, she just made it up) We sat down to wait and they brought our bagels on a serving board with a handle (nice touch). My bagel was so appealing visually that my friend asked Amina to make them an additional bagel like mine! It was so delicious!! The people working are very very friendly! The greeted me very nicely, this was the second time I went just to give it another try but I I just wasn't very pleased. They asked if I wanted it cut and of course I do then they didn't toast it and didn't even ask, this second time I went was like the first and it seemed they never have bagels a lot of the bins were empty and I'm pretty sure the bagels they do have, have been sitting there, they were not very fresh.
