Great bagels, friendly workers. I think the bagels at New York Bagel on Hillcroft and maybe even Hot Bagel Express on Kirby are a little bit better but this is definitely the best bagel in Sugar Land. They're really good. We've become weekend regulars and see a lot of familiar faces every week. read more

I agree with all the reviews here, I have yet to find a better place to get bagels in the Sugar Land area, and the only place that can even compete with them I have found in the greater Houston area is New York Bagel on Hillcroft. Here they also make so many different cream cheeses, and I have tried many of them, and they are all very good. I will be back anytime I feel the urge for a bagel in the future. read more

The classic bagels are back!! They have gotten new owners and really upgraded the place. It looks really nice inside. I just recently went and they have their sausage, egg, and cheese bagel back on the menu. My favorite, the bacon, egg, and cheese, is back to it's original quality! This is based strictly on the food. Which is amazing! The best bagel I found in Sugar Land and I've lived here for almost 2 months. The shop is nice and clean, but you can tell it's a smalltime operation. They serve their bagels on plastic disposable plates. I guess for the area, the bagels were okay...but definitely not great. I went in about 1:20 and they close at 2. The time should have nothing to do with the bagel not being great. I had the onion bagel with cream cheese and lox. The lox were great, but for the price didn't feel like they put enough on the sandwich. The bagel itself didn't have much of stand out taste. It was just kind of blah. I was also a bit surprised it didn't come with anything but a pickle. I'd go back to give it another shot if I'm in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way to just eat there. read more

Came here for the first time excited to try it out, but when I got here I was disappointed. I told the lady I needed a minute to look over the menu so she said okay and went ahead to continue cooking. When I was ready I walked up to the register and stood there for 10 minutes while she ignored me and continued to cook. After a while a few more customers showed up and stood behind me and still nothing. After waiting more than 10 minutes I gave up my spot in line and left. They probably need more than 1 person or just 1 person who can better manage doing both tasks. read more

This is my go to bagel place in Sugar Land. Close to home. Only problem is they're always out of bagels, even at 10 am and they don't offer to make more. You just have to choose from whatever is left, which kind of sucks. But the bagels are good. Reminds me of a NY bagel. read more

The bagels are very decent for the area. I grew up inside a bagel shop in the NYC-area, but I am also realistic about what passes for a bagel elsewhere. I liked the texture and the toppings were well toasted. They're really flavorful but a little on the small side. I didn't try the spreads but the breakfast sandwich was lacking any salt or pepper, so I wouldn't suggest that. Definitely a good place to get a fresh bagel fix. read more

I wanted an everything bagel, but they were all out, so I ended up with this onion bagel and will probably get it every time; it was delicious! Great service as well! I was told to call in the morning if I want a specific bagel and I'm not able to make it in early in the morning. I'm not sure if they are undergoing new management, but I've been here several times in the past and it was nothing like I experienced this morning. The place just looked nasty. It seemed very dirty. From the tables inside to the floors. It took a long time to order and receive our food. The lady taking orders was having a hard time understanding what my order was and she wasn't very friendly. Worst service ever! Rude and unorganized. Took 20 minutes for a bagel. Poor hygiene and organization. I stopped in for some bagels to eat with the family at the park and had to wait and wait as others were served. My 16 yo daughter and I used to go here when she was a toddler, as the former owner Gary was friendly and made you feel welcome, and we enjoyed our Sat morning ritual visits there. Since the ownership changed the place hasn't been the same. After my last two dismal experiences there I won't go back, as the petite, pale skinned lady who always works behind the counter grossly overcharged me each time, with no explanation when I addressed it other than to refund the overcharged amount. I always give folks the benefit of the doubt, but this happened on each of my last two visits. Yesterday when I went in, she burned the bagel I ordered and attempted to serve me a bagel I hadn't ordered in its place (there were no more bagels of the kind I wanted) without any apology or communication whatsoever. read more

Wow! I have never had such a great bagel. I've just picked up bagels and cream cheese to bring home nothing else yet. Definitely a hidden gem by the First Colony Mall in Sugar Land. The garlic herb cream cheese is great and the super cinnamon bagel with raisin walnut cream cheese is delicious. read more

This is a great little bagel place right next to Town Center for those looking for their morning fix. I always get the classic-style poppy seed and its delicious, if rather simple, just American cheese, eggs, and bacon. I almost always eat it to-go because though the staff is friendly, the place always has an unappetizing bleach smell that takes away from the bagel. Great for a quick brunch! read more

A bit pricey for a bagel, but not so much that I wouldn't go back. For me what makes it worth it is that I get it on the way to work and they cut it, toast it and put a generous amount of schmear on for you and package it neatly in a bag. Very helpful for the commute. I'm a bit of a novice on bagels so I'm currently trying them out one by one. So far they've all been good. The cranberry orange is refreshingly delicious, the french toast one is perfectly sweet, not overly as some things are when they're called french toast, and the onion bagel , which I tried today, is oniony as heck, tasty with the tiny amounts of bitterness from some burnt onion but great for robust bkfst lovers. Huge cup of coffee, even when I ask for a small. I wonder if it's because it's to go. But that's not a complaint at all. read more
