We have been having chronic issues with two of our garage door openers that were just installed within the last few years. Despite multiple attempts by the installers, we were still having recurring issues. Finally, we decided to call Boulevard Garage Doors based on the great reviews. I was especially thrilled when they dispatched Valentino since he was mentioned in many great reviews. Valentino identified faulty installation with the garage door where the cable (side opener) would come off randomly every year or so. With the other garage door opener, it was determined to be a manufacturer issue, and after many long calls to Liftmaster customer service, my husband was able to get a replacement approved. Valentino helped us uninstall it, swap for the replacement, and install the new opener. So far so good. I woke up on a weekend morning to find that the springs on my garage door had broken. The company I had used in the past only operates Monday through Friday, so I reached out to Boulevard Garage Doors for a quote. I was able to send them a photo and quickly get detailed pricing. When I spoke with Joshua, I appreciated how upfront he was about the parts, labor, and total cost. After deciding to move forward, he came out, inspected everything, and gave me a free estimate. Once I agreed, he immediately got to work. Throughout the entire process, he explained everything he was doing. Not only did he replace both springs, but he also replaced the T-rail mounting bracket. He discovered that my old springs weren't even matching and that the previous T-rail mounting bracket was just two blocks of wood nailed into the wall. Same day service for maintenance with quote coming within 15 minutes o inquiry. Guy showed up within the 2 hour timeframe and did the job within an hour... then got a call from another guy saying he'll be there in 15 minutes... but the first guy was already here.... Super confused. Turns out the first guy said he was contracted by BLVD... upsold me on a lot of stuff... ended up paying a lot more than I thought. Not sure what's going on but thought it odd to have another sub-contracted person doing the job I asked this company to do without a heads up. Guy also only wanted Zelle or Personal check... of which I have neither. Then wanted to charge me the 3% credit card fee... which is a merchant fee, and shouldn't be a consumer fee. read more

I moved into my new home and noticed there was a gap at the bottom of my garage door where it meets the cement. I wanted to prevent rodents from coming in. I called a nationwide garage door repair company who came out for $69 to tell me I needed a brand new garage door that would cost $6000! After spending so much getting this house ready to move in I didn't want to spend another $6000. Then the repair guy explained that as a temporary remedy he could put a new sealer strip on the bottom of the garage door that would cost $400. I thought that was a lot! I am so glad I called Boulevard Garage Doors for a second opinion! I submitted a request via yelp and Rachel called me within minutes to schedule an appointment. Valentino showed up within an hour and told me my garage door does NOT need to be replaced just yet. He explained that he could put a new plastic sealer strip on the bottom of the garage door which would solve the issue. Valentino came 10 minutes early to the appt to replace garage door rollers, brackets and screws that were loose and old. He assessed all the parts first and recommended to replace them and tightened all the screws securely as needed. He went above and beyond, balancing the garage door so it runs smoothly and told me to use the correct garage door oil to ensure the health of the parts. I had been having electrical issues with the button on the wall of my garage. After two years of delaying the problem I finally called and the only company that would answer the phone in a prompt professional manner was Boulevard Garage Doors. They were able to send someone out right away and was surprised how prompt their service was. Richard Martinez came out at a convenient time for me. They text updates when they're on the way and the window times in 1 hour don't have me sitting home waiting all day. Richard diagnosed the issue and also evaluated the garage door and saw a couple broken hinges I didn't even know were broken. I also needed a new remote control and it wasn't too bad $37 to replace. Wasn't a cheap fix $250 overall for not a hard fix but worth it in the end. read more

Worth it! I had 3 bids for replacement of my garage door springs and Boulevard Garage Doors bid was the mid priced option. Valentino was my technician and he arrived on time. He carefully inspected my door and immediately saw that the plastic bracket holding the lift arm was cracked. He explained to me that this was bound to fail sooner than later and recommended replacement but this was not a hard sell. He said I could do it myself or he could do it while he was there. He replaced the springs & bracket in about 45 minutes and I thought that was it. Lo and behold, he balanced that door, readjusted the carriage rail (which had been initially installed off-center) replaced some worn out lag screws, fixed the weather-stripping at the bottom of the door and lubricated the entire assembly. FOR FREE...My garage door has never run this quiet, I thought noisy was it's mantra! I would be remiss if i didn't mention Rachel at BGD, my initial contact person. Her communication skills and prompt follow-up to all of my queries exceeded my expectations. The other 2 companies I contacted were disappointing.
