If I could give 6 stars I would! Our garage door stopped working at 5:30 pm on a Tuesday. Of course, I open Yelp and Boulevard came up as open at that time and very highly rated. Called and luckily Valentino was wrapping up a job close by and was able to come within 30 minutes! Once I got off the phone, I immediately received a text message of his arrival window. He arrived right during that window. With our door mostly shut (seriously you barely could see anything inside), he was able to diagnose the problem and provide a detailed quote. Once we got inside, he explained what work he was going to do and showed us why our door stopped working. He quickly went to work and by 6:30 pm our door was working again and sounded better than it ever had!! Overall, great service, great value, great work! I found this local company on the Chamberlain Liftmaster website, which I take to be a good sign. I called and described the issue to the salesperson (my old logic board was literally fried). She sent dispatched a tech and he was there in two hours. Paul showed up in a truck, we discussed the issues I was having and he pointed out some other potential issues we had. Without being pushy or trying to upsell me on something I didn't need, we agreed on the best option for my needs. 30 minutes later, I had a brand new garage door motor, belt, two openers, an indoor control panel, and an outdoor combination opener. To top off the great service, he tightened up all of the loose hardware on the door, installed some new through-bolts, and lubricated all moving parts and pieces. I was expecting to pay at least a thousand dollars, but the total was a little over eight hundred. Our old wooden lift up door was so out of alignment and so poorly installed years ago, it made it near impossible to fix and not replace. And yet, Valentino went above and beyond any technician I have experienced and repaired broken hardware, springs, wood, etc. He spent twice the time we all expected and would not leave until everything was in perfect working order. We interviewed several companies beforehand and this one was the best in price, knowledge and technical ability. Richard gave me an appointment same day, was a bit late but let me know he was on his way (Bay Area traffic what are ya gonna do?) I've been having trouble with the door sometimes not going down intermittently - he recalibrated it, made an adjustment, sprayed some lubricant , and we will just wait and see. There is a chance that there is a problem with the logic board- 40% or so - hopefully not - it's less than 6 years old. This review is for the purchase and installation of 2 new garage doors and a motor. My prior garage doors were still operating well but they appeared outdated so this project was not an emergency and I had all of the time in the world to shop around. I had my garage doors for over 20 plus years and decided that it was time to replace them with something more modern. The quote Blvd Garage Doors provided was the cheapest. But price aside, everyone I dealt with at this company was not only courteous but efficient. In between dealing with Rachel, Josh and Jonathan, the coordination from them could not have been better. I realized I never had to repeat myself at anytime. Everything I told Josh was relayed to both Rachel and Jonathan. After one month, the garage doors were ready and the installation took 2 days to complete. If I were to be picky, I would say that there were bits of debris left inside the garage including some metal brackets, bolts, nails and screws. Perhaps it could have blown out a tire if I drove over it. What I believe sets this company apart from others are... 1. Competitive pricing 2. A very organized and streamlined process 3.
