A great Boba spot in Northridge! Came here with friends after dining and we had to try this spot. Bounce Boba is located in a shopping mall with other establishments. There's ample parking and easy to find. When you walk in, you're able to make selections on a computer screen of what type of boba you may want. The establishment has so many choices in whatever mood you may be in. My boa was perfect and I really enjoyed the flavors. Can't wait to come back. Service was great and our bobas came out really quickly. The staff seemed nice as well.
3.5/ 5 I give this place. It is great to pass by this place and grab the good stuff. The staff are always helpful and patient when I was struggling what to get. They answered my questions when I was asking what's in it on the drinks. They keep the place clean and tidy which is always good to see. The drinks were prepared good. Although the cup seems to have gotten smaller. They used tout it on decent size cups. Im sure they are saving money with smaller cups. The taste is still good though but the quantity has lessened. Customers know when things are off and can see the difference.
Good drinks. It's cashless so you have to order from a touch screen. Kinda sad not to be greeted when walking in while the staff is engaged in their own conversations. As we were waiting for our drinks, another customer walks in, isn't greeted or assisted and walks right out. I'm not surprised. Place itself is small but well kept. Parking lot not as busy on a Sunday.
Haven't been here for a minuteeeee but wanted to treat my nephew for his school award so decided to stop by. Came and ordered 8 drinks for the family. Taste is still superb but this time the service was slow. Everyone who ordered after me got their drinks first. Other than waiting around longer than I wanted to everything is still delicious.
If you want both drinks and great food this is the place to be haven't been here in years since I was in college . It was nice to go back and enjoy . It's still the same but upgraded kiosk since it does get busy.
This is my favorite boba spot in the LA area. When you enter the shop, you know the owner really put in efforts to make you feel cozy and welcomed. The ambiance reminded me of the times back in college, friends would get boba, study, and just hang out. I highly recommend the popcorn chicken. Extremely crispy and the seasoning is the right amount of spice and saltiness. Honestly legendary. I usually get their matcha drinks or the signature milk tea. The way how the drinks taste is exactly like how you would have had it in Taiwan, super authentic milk tea spot. Highly highly recommend. They are also doing fund raisers and event catering. Also met some influencers when I swing by from time to time.
We heard of bounce Boba when we attended the Yelp elite 818 event, about 10 minutes down the road we decided to stop in since they close at 11 o'clock after our event with the complementary coupon One free drink . We took advantage of it before we head home . Wyatt helped us with our order since we can't process the coupon at the kiosk station. We decided to purchase six more additional drinks to take home to our kids. They offer party treats size drinks for large groups as well. Yummm thank you .
A couple friends and I were in the Northtridge vicinity and found ourselves nearby this boba shop. Thought the name of the biz was intriguing plus we happened to have a complimentary drink voucher (thank you Bounce!) that we received from an event so we had to drop on by to use it. It's a cute place with good amount of inside seating. There are a few kiosks for self-ordering or you may walk up to the counter to order. Please note if you have any coupons or vouchers for free drinks or any other free stuff, you will need to order from the counter and not use the kiosk. They also have one all gender restroom for use which is convenient for the customers. Staff was very friendly. I usually get our go-to drinks for my daughters and I. My eldest daughter loves peach mango jasmine green tea + lychee jelly so I got her that. My youngest daughter loves the brown sugar black milk tea + crystal boba, but they didn't have crystal boba so got her that with honey boba instead. I got the taro milk tea with custard jello cubes (aka egg pudding LOL). All the drinks had no ice just the way we like it because we don't want our drinks to be watered down. All 3 drinks were amazing... quite delightful and refreshing! Will definitely get again! Bounce is quite a distance from my home, but should I be in the San Fernando Valley area in the near future, I will return here for more tasty drinks. Thank you Bounce for being great at your craft! After having a bite next door at Kickin', a group of us bounced our way over here for drinks. While others were going for the milk tea, I couldn't help but notice the Nutty Pistachio which reminded me of the pistachio shakes I would get at a spot called Café BT. Not a lot of places make them, so I figured it couldn't hurt to try. Many shops these days have self-service tablets for ordering, and this place is no exception. As one would expect, there were some in there busy at work on their laptops, while others were gossiping away. Guess we're just passing by. The drink for the smallest size was $5.95 and turned out not too sweet, perhaps slightly less flavor than I'm used to without adjusting the sugar level. The almond topping was a nice touch. Kinda felt as if I inhaled the whole thing in an instant, though it helped that it was a scorcher outside.
BBL was one of the revolutionaries that specialized in boba drinks in the valley, a mainstay for school fundraisers. Nowadays, with Bon Bon into play, the line isn't as long. Drinks are a bit artificial tasting and tend to be on the sweeter side. Boba is chewier than I'd like. The redeeming constant, however, is their food, especially their popcorn chicken. I like the sauces here better than Tea n Tea. Since they opened, they underwent an interior design and logo change. Looks more modern and sleek. Same owners as Kickin Kasian - bomb food, OK lemonades.
My first time here and definitely not my last. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely pick this place as a good meetup spot with friends. Cute decor and quaint size. One thing that sets this boba place apart is that right by the register, they let you know that they can adjust the sweetness level to your preference. I know that in theory but this is the only boba place that I've seen that has a sign thoroughly explaining what each amount means. Thanks for your quick service , Dave!
Drove back here on an extra trip to Bounce Boba Lounge, Northridge, Los Angeles, CA. to support them. Bought their house milk tea I believe with boba, less sugar. Super late post. Staff was friendly and efficient: this location was convenient if I was already driving out to Los Angeles, CA. I will return again to continue supporting them. Bounce Boba Lounge, CA.. was located close to Cal State Northridge, CA. The tea shop was super clean and organized: they also provided free water for customers.

This was one of the best taro milk teas I've ever had!! I got it with 50% sweetness, light ice and honey boba. It does scare me what 100% sweetness would taste like since I thought the 50% was pretty sweet. The honey boba was phenomenal!! Warm, chewy, FRESH. The lady who took my order was so friendly, I wish I got her name. Parking is great, ample parking even with lots of small businesses in this strip mall. read more

This is my second time back here. Last time I got a fruit tea, which was delicious. This time I got an iced Thai tea and a Mango Amor. The Thai tea is really good and sweet, but the boba didn't seem fresh since the pearls were a bit hard. The mango amor was sweet with a spicy kick. Writing this from the couch as I sip on probably my fifth *MONSTER Mango Passion Black Tea, 50% sweetened, extra ice, with a 1/2 serving of strawberry boba* this month. Other delicious drinks we've tried include: Buko shake 75% sweet with the creme brûlée and boba *chefs kiss* this one's mighty indulgent. Been a hot minute since I was here last and was surprised at how much has changed! We were grabbing dinner next door and while waiting for our food, grabbed a drink from here. The cups are much cuter and the small size is very small but sometimes perfect for me! I like to get extra boba in my drinks and sometimes the drink can be too much so this ended up being great! Their Earl Grey has the perfect flavor. Some places taste watered down or just overly sweet but they make it really good here! Glad to see how much it has changed but also bummed to see the menu change too much. I didn't see anymore pink boba which I always looked forward to getting since there's no other boba spot around here that has different boba. 5/5 for their boba, service, and location! My friend and I visited Bounce Boba Lounge on a Thursday night to check out their boba. Boba: I ordered the Mango Paradise smoothie and my friend ordered the Rose Honey Milk Tea, both with boba and both regular size. The boba was chewy and soft, not too chunky. The mango smoothie was sweet, not too icy, a smooth rich texture. The Rose Honey Milk Tea was a delight in my mouth. Rose is always delicious, so Rose & Honey was a great mix. Service: You can order through tablets or order at the front if you have any questions. Contactless payment is available. The people there are nice and welcoming. Location: There's a parking lot that is shared with 5 other businesses, but there was ample parking, so we had no trouble. I didn't get a chance to see what the bathrooms looked like, but they do have one. Beautiful modern, chill ambiance. My friend visited this place 10 years ago. She confirmed they have done renovations since the last time she was here. Overall, I definitely recommend the mango paradise smoothie and the rose honey milk tea. Simple, quick and convenient. Bounce Boba Lounge has a nice variety of teas such as Sea Salt foam, Slush, Brown Sugar, Blended Cafe Lattes, Frescas and a couple of sets that I've never heard about. (Creme Brulee, Sea Salt Marble) While ordering you can customize your drink from the sweetness, how much ice, addons of your favorite drink options aka boba and more! The place was jam packed when I came on a Friday afternoon. It was a perfect place to hang out before meeting up with some people. During that day I was a little confused as no one was at the register to take my order. There was a sign that said to order at the kiosk but people were standing in front of them so I couldn't find them as easily as I thought I should. I ordered the non caffeinated Taro tea and it was just perfect for my liking. After ordering I had some time to fully look over their menu and would like to try their Taro coco-nuts and have it blended with Oreos. That sounds wonderful! This place also sells finger foods when lounging such as sandwiches and some fried goodies. We didn't order food during this trip but will probably want to check it out in the near future. We've come here for years, and this is one of our reliable local boba places. We walked over and saw they had a buko pandan flavor in their creme brulee series, so we got it at 75% sweetness and with honey boba. It may have ended up being $6 for a regular size boba, but it was actually amazing. The pandan and coconut worked so well together for a creamy, interesting flavor. The 75% sweetness with the honey boba made for a perfectly level of sweetness. We will definitely be getting it again, but as a monster size, for sure. This boba place is one of the better ones in the San Fernando Valley area. Below are my reviews: Location: Located on a strip plaza on Reseda. Parking: Plenty. don't you need to worry Order: You can order online or in person. Restaurant: Small place. No seating place due to Covid. Pick up only! Staff: They're always very nice. COVID Restrictions: You gotta wear mask to enter. They do not asked for vaccination status. They also are not accepting cash, credit or debit card only. There are self ordering kiosks if you plan to order inside the boba place, which are very simple and easy to use. Basically, contact-less except when you pick up your order. The Drinks: I find the drinks to be good and tasty most of the times. The bobas, on a couples of occasions, did turn out to be not up to par because they're all clumped together. I love salt foam drinks and I ordered a few from here, and I think they're okay. I've had drinks with better salt foams in other parts of LA. Deducted 1 star for the clumpy bobas and okay tasting salt foams. The Food/Snacks: I love their fried tofu and popcorn chicken. I always ordered the combo for the free drinks. I found this place while driving around the San Fernando Valley. This place has the potential to be a really cool hipster, trendy spot, however, they're still not offering indoor seating yet. It's not really a "Lounge" since you can't enjoy their ambience. But I get it, they're still abiding by the CDC safety protocols and I respect them for their decision. They also are not accepting cash. They have self ordering kiosks, which are very simple and easy to use, and accept credit payments only. Again another way of going "touch-less". Now onto their drinks, I've been here a few times, and I like their smoothie drinks. I've gotten their Tropical Waterfall, and their Strawberry Island both with boba. And I have to say, both times the flavors were really strong and you can taste all the different fruit blends. Right when you get your drink, you can feel the boba at the bottom, still hot from being freshly made. And the top portion of your smoothie is ice cold. Once you turn your drink upside down and mix the boba into your smoothie, the fruit flavors mixed with the chewyness of the boba is so refreshing. Hopefully, they will open their lounge soon so people would have a place to enjoy their refreshments. I'll have to come back and try their food items. read more

I came in today at 11:25am the sign at the door said "open". I placed my order by myself on the screen they have at the counter. After I went to take a seat i hear someone at the back and she comes out and tells me that they don't open until 11:30.. she said it in a rude tone. I said im sorry i saw the sign that said open so i thought you guys opened 5 min early. And she was like "No, and i won't be able to make your order until 11:30" so i said ok i will wait. Few minutes after this other employee comes in and she tells him the whole situation of me coming in a little early, he comes out and gives me a weird look. Which it made me feel really uncomfortable. So don't unlock your door before 11:30 if you don't want nobody to come in before you guys open!!! Tried Bounce Boba Lounge for the first time, and it was so good! We ordered the brown sugar milk tea, almond honey milk tea, and the brûlée taro smoothie. Overall, the drinks were super yummy, but a little too sweet. I definitely recommend getting your drinks at 50% sweetness or less. They have a variety of different drinks/flavors, and we loved that they have 32 oz cups. I highly recommend trying Bounce Boba Lounge if you're in the Northridge area! read more

From a place that has so many raving Yelp reviews I would expect more when it comes to the quality of the food.. Food: I was really looking forward to trying the food here after reading all of the positive Yelp reviews. I ordered the chicken fingers, tater tots, & milk tea. To start off with, all of the food was cold. The chicken tasted like plastic & the tots tasted old, cold & left a weird after taste. The milk tea was also disappointing it tasted like sugar water. To sum up, I won't be ordering food or drinks here again not worth the price. Service/Atmosphere: FYI you have to order online here they won't let you place your order in person which was another inconvenience. However, we are in a middle of a pandemic so I understand. This place is very easy to locate & there is more than enough parking. Overall, not the greatest experience I honestly feel like I was ripped off & didn't get my money's worth. Second time coming back after a year. I've been having a sweet tooth lately so I decided on the Frozen Flan drink, but they have so many other options you can choose from. I ordered my drink 50% sweet with easy brown sugar because I didn't want it to be overly sweet. The drink after that was still pretty sweet but definitely satisfied my craving. I also did something I usually don't do and ordered honey boba. The boba was nice and chewy and overall had the texture I was looking for. After ordering, I waited about 10 minutes for my drinks but to be fair, they seemed pretty busy. Pretty good boba spot! This place seems to specialize in more 'specialty' drinks such as smoothies & slushes. Personally, im a plain flavored tea/juice guy and their selection is pretty small when it comes to those. The lychee tea was 'ok'. I personally think my drink was lacking in flavor. The green tea taste wasn't that strong and I feel like I only tasted lychee from the residual juice off the lychee jelly. When I finished the jelly and just had tea left, it almost tasted like water. Barely green tea, barely lychee. I did have a sip of the buko pandan and their black n white smoothies. I really LOVED the taste of the black n white. So yeah, If you're a smoothie/slush kind of person, this place would be perfect for you. They have an awesome and creative selection of those kinds of drinks. If you want something more plain, this place might not be the one for you. read more
Bounce Boba is a favorite of mine! I've tried many different milk teas and teas that they offer and each one is full of flavor. I would definitely recommend getting the honey boba, just cause they are a bit more bouncier and easier to chew! Staff are always so nice and always get your drink out in a timely manner. Depending on the time you go, it could be a bit crowded cause of it being close to CSUN but I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. The first time I tried Bounce was back in 2013 or 2014 and I was quite impressed. However since then, I've tried other boba places closer to me which have become faves so I didn't return to Bounce until tonight (7/15/22). The drinks sounded delicious and the pictures on the menu made us drool over what the drinks "could" be. We ordered the frozen flan and the frozen hot chocolate (using the kiosks) knowing that they will both be quite sweet. Unfortunately, both drinks were quite disappointing! Although the boba was hot and soft at first, it started to harden as time passed since the drinks were both frozen. The frozen hot chocolate was overly sweet and the frozen flan tasted like a regular caramel frappe. Although we were both hungry, we felt so sick and heavy after drinking half of the 22 oz and had to toss out our drinks. Service: you order using the kiosks so there's very minimal interaction with humans! Ambiance: Although it was quite empty at 10 pm on a Friday, I can imagine it getting busy since it has a good amount of seating for such a small place. Price: I didn't feel fulfilled by the drinks and my boba craving was not satisfied even though we paid over $13! Unfortunately, I don't think I'd return to try more drinks since I didn't really enjoy their boba in itself :/ read more
Updating my review once again. I originally had Bounce as a 5, was my favorite Boba spot in the Valley. Then I dropped them to a 3 when they changed their menu and removed many drink options, could have been a little harsh. Now I am moving them back to a 4, still don't like the limited drinks they offer compared to other Boba spots, but I have to bump them back up one star because of the popcorn chicken, best around by far. I found it difficult to order because it's a self order station on the computer. You click what you want and pay on the computer screen without having to interact with any employee. I found it difficult to go through the menu and choose through all the customizable options. I wanted to try something that was unique to Bounce Boba but couldn't quite figure it out as it was my first time there. I could see how this would be a great system if I went more often. I tried two drinks: the Oreo milk tea boba and matcha latte boba. Both were underwhelming and not too delicious. Not sure if it was on my end for ordering wrong or if it just wasn't good. Also ordered the popcorn chicken, which was pretty good! It was a nice space to sit and hang out in! Parking was easy and spacious. read more

One of our favorite Boba spots in the Valley. Drinks are not overly sweet which is nice because some places really do overdo it. My favorite is the taro milk tea but there are so many good options. My daughter loves the Rose Honey tea. I love that they have tablets at the front that you can use for ordering, it just makes everything super simple, you don't get overwhelmed with the options and you can take your time to decide. You can even order ahead on their site. This place never disappoints. Highly recommend it! read more

They used to but I believe they stopped the punch cards a few years ago.
