It's a cute space with a unique vibe. It's not your typical boba space that seems rowdy and lots of people hang out. It's more of pick up your food, maybe stay for a few minutes and head out. Food was good. I actually liked how they have actual food instead of just finger food. I came in pretty hungry feeling like munching on something and tried their chicken basil bowl. It's rice served with ground chicken flavored in soy sauce and something sweet (probably a version of sugar), basil, stir fried veggies and an egg. Overall flavor profile was good. The only weird part of the whole dish was probably the egg. I don't know how they made it or if it was premade, but it didn't seem right. Like the yolk was partially gone and the egg was a bit perfectly round. Not sure how to describe it besides those eggs served at fast food restaurants like a McMuffin. Parking was probably the biggest flag for me. Parking lot is very small and it only offers 30 minutes of parking time. We were craving some quick Asian snacks after visiting Ikea and I must say their fried tofu did not disappoint. It's perfectly fried, super crispy on the outside and soft and tender inside. It's so good to eat with the sweet chili sauce. There is a little bit wait and it's mainly because there were some large to go orders. I am so glad to find this place about 5 minutes from work. Definitely worth the drive on a hot day. I ordered the honeydew smoothie with boba for $4.75. It was about 24oz. This is one of the better honeydew smoothies I've had and that includes the SGV area. The smoothie wasn't too icy and not overly sweet. The boba was definitely fresh and had the chewiness that I like. You can tell it hasn't been sitting all dried out. It had a sweetness to it and was warm. They also serve food here, but it's more like appetizers. There are about 8 tables and games if you just want to hang out here for a while.
