This place is super popular when I went on a Friday there was a short line for ordering and a lot of people are waiting for their drinks, Great selection of food and drinks. What I ordered: - Seasalt Foam Matcha: the tea flavor was very strong which I love and the foam balances out the bitterness from the tea. I recommend getting this at 50% sugar for some sweetness unless you are okay with the bitterness from the tea. - Peach and Strawberry Green Tea: was a little disappointed with this one hence the three star is because we picked 25% as the sugar level but it ended up being way too sweet. First time trying this place and I was honestly very happy with my drink. There is a good amount of options in their menu and i was happy that some of their drinks were able to be modified with the sweetness level/milk alternatives (almond or oat milk). I got myself their ice-blended brown sugar with oat milk. Took about 5 minutes to have my drink ready. When I got my drink I felt that the boba was warm. After I mixed my drink & got that first sip I can say it was very delicious. Definitely sweet but tolerable. The boba itself was also really good. Parking sucks here. Quality has gone down so much compared to when they first opened. The only drink that is good here is the Black and White. Don't even bother getting a milk tea here, tastes like sweetener and syrup. None of the teas here taste authentic, it's all just sugared water. This place isn't even like a boba milk tea place anymore since all their milk teas do not taste authentic at all. It's more like a smoothie/blended drink place since that's the majority of their menu and taste better than the milk teas and tea. Snacks are ok. This is easily one of our favorite boba spots when we are in the Northridge area. Easy ordering on the kiosks, which give you all the customizing options - sugar level, ice, toppings, etc. Their system also keeps track of the rewards program, you just need to swipe a credit card that's linked to your rewards account. Our drinks usually take anywhere from 5-10 minutes to make, depending how busy they are. The menu has a variety of teas, milk teas and ice blended smoothies. Their creme brulee series is a little on the sweeter side (even at 50% sweet), but I still really like the buko pandan and taro creme brulee. Otherwise, early grey milk tea or something with matcha is probably my go to. Definitely will continue to make our regular stops here when we can! read more

First, Bounce used to be my spot. This was my go-to boba spot. Ever since they remodeled (just before the pandemic) and then more so after the pandemic, this place is not the spot. No one will take your order. You have to do it at a kiosk. I'm all for the anti social way but can they take my order and not make me do the work? I'm not here to do the job of ordering. It's like self check out: I'm doing the work so the boss can pay less people and make more money. Next, the regular size is supposed to be 16oz but it looks like 8. And it's almost $5 for the tiny cup. Not competitive pricing with places around here. Next my drink came with an orange slice in it... I ordered strawberry tea but ok... sure. Orange slice. And then there was a loose seed. Have you ever bit into a citrus seed? It's awful. On the upside I added boba ($0.90!) and there is a ton of boba. It's like half boba. The only thing that bums me out is that they're online ordering menu is a bit more limited than compared to before with their actual menu. I wanted the iced honey black milk tea that I've gotten before in person, but online they only had either an iced black tea option or an iced rose honey black milk tea; so I ended up going with the rose option. I'm not the biggest fan of "floral" rose drinks but it wasn't bad. It was still good. (My main complaint at many boba places is the there's no tea taste in their tea drinks, but that was not the case at Boba Bounce Lounge). The boba was soft and chewy, and not overly sweet. My son felt it was a bit over soft, but I thought it was fine. I tried a hot milk tea with oat milk. Again the tea was excellent and tasted like tea! Great sized boba for good price. Got a monster peach Mango Boba tea with Lychee jelly and it tasted great. There were quite a few food items on the menu I look forward to trying next time. I only deducted a star because it took a good 4-6 minutes before someone acknowledge me even though one staff member made eye contact several times but never said a word in regards to "welcome, we'll be right with you". There was no one else in line to order and I kind of just stood there for awhile. Still once I was greeted by another employee she was very kind and the drink came out quickly. I stopped by here today to try their popcorn chicken since I was in the area. I came right when they open so I was their first custom this morning. The first thing that stood out to me is that they'll want you to order from the kiosk so I guess everything would be touchless. The inside is not that big but it's nice and they have some area where you can eat your food or drink your boba. I would recommend placing your order online before coming here so it would be quicker especially if the kiosk is backed up. Keep in mind that there is a surcharge from ordering here so don't be surprise. The popcorn chicken took about 5 minutes to come out and it was okay to me. I tried it with the sweet and sour sauce but it wasn't my favorite. The portion they give is about medium size, another place that I love gives more and has a better taste in my opinion but I just wanted to try this place. I'll be sure to take my wife here to try their Thai Tea and see if she likes it. The parking isn't that big and it can be packed during the night time so keep that in mind. read more

Also, when ordering drinks, particularly multiple drinks, why wasn't there any plastic bags or cardboard cup holders provided upon pick up? I think this was inefficient because my friend had to hold the 2 drinks with 2 hands lol. This is my 2nd time coming here and this time was more memorable. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea, Thai tea and lychee black tea. I really like that they have different size options, but I have to zonk them for their large container because they do not seal it like the other 2 sizes. Instead, they use a lid and I don't really like that because it's susceptible to spillage. Especially when you are trying to carry 3 drinks and trying to drive home and worrying if the cup was going to fall over and spill. At least with the top being sealed, you don't have to worry about that. I really like the brown sugar as it was sweet and and had good flavor. Other places will make them with too much milk or not enough brown sugar. This place is perfect and the boba is soft and chewy. I can see why since there's a lot of foot traffic here so their boba is not just sitting still in a container. The Thai tee and lychee also had good flavor. You will arrive and you wait in line to inform them of your name for the order and they will grab your drinks. I like their drinks and boba and how you can customize it online! I'm obsessed with this spot. The blends are consistent and the staff love each other ( based on the pictures of them during holiday parties). You have to order from monitors (short learning curve for old millennial and boomers) but the employees are willing to help you figure it out. I love the matcha tea with sea salt foam - it tastes fresh, other than most places which load powdered sugar. It's the only drink I've tried so far, but one day I will try the food too. My son and I have been coming here since they opened and have ordered the same thing. Combo of 2 snacks ( Popcorn Chicken) and a Thai Iced tea w/ Boba.. Even through COVID, my son and I have still ordered and just picked up our orders. We come at least 4x a month. We normally get 4 pieces of ranch to go with the 2 orders of Popcorn chicken with the combo. Today this girl that was working didn't want to give us the 4 pieces of ranch. After completing a campus tour at CSUN, we were starving!! Checked on yelp, and my daughter picked this place. GOOD CHOICE!! Short drive from CSUN. The spicy fries (medium) were plentiful for the two of us, but I wouldn't say that they were spicy. Still tasted good. LOVED the pesto chicken Panini. I thought the wheat bread looked burned though, but it didn't taste burned. Be careful when you bite into it, because it drips! A slice of pickle is provided on the side. I ordered the boba drink with pistachio and lucky charms on top with whipped cream. A little to much on the sweet side for me, but beautiful to look at. Her tropical boba drink was more to my palate. There's a water container near the plastic utensils. Only issue is that I needed to get several refills due to the cups are like the size of Dixie cups!!
