Had a horrible experience on the online app I ordered 2 bagels ahead of time at 10:15 and got to the store at the scheduled time that they said the bagels would be ready at 10:45. I was still waiting until 11 and the bagels hadn't even been started, the chef was eating his own bagel outside. The first time I came here, I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and avocado toast. I don't personally have a need for oat milk in my coffee, but sometimes I like to switch it up from regular or almond. The coffee alone is delicious! Most places for me have an odd taste with their coffee mixed with oat or almond milk, which is a bummer. Here, their coffee with oat milk was a knockout for me. I'm hooked. Great little spot right on the South Coast Hwy. they are open, and there is a decent amount of seating inside and out. Close enough to the beach you can ride your bike or even walk. The coffees are smooth and flavorful and they offer all types of espresso/lattes as well as Cold Brew. Their "Passenger" beans are imported from worldwide sources and roasted in Lancaster, PA. They make their scones and other goodies in-house so you are getting fresh and tasty straight from the source. The decor is clean and minimalist...not a bunch of tables and sofas cluttering up the space. Everyone working here is friendly and courteous and there's plenty of parking outside. I've revisited a couple times and Bound has become my preferred go-to. Matcha is perfect, not clumpy or overly sweet. Strawberry Milk Bun was even better than some bakeries I've tried. We got an americano, a latte with black tea and bergamot syrup (rotating syrup), a breakfast burrito and a peached and cream scone. Everything was good!!! The latte was perfect, I could really taste the bergamot and it paired perfectly with the espresso. The americano was great too. My boyfriend devoured his breakfast burrito (and I sneaked in a few bites too ). Loved the potatoes in it, so simple yet so effective. The salsa was great too. I didn't expect much from the scone but it was super good too! I don't know if they make those in house but whoever made them knows what they're doing.
