I came in today after my wax appointment because I wanted to see what the hype was all about. I saw the bound was being advertised on a few people social media that I know so I thought "hey I like coffee let me try it out." I ordered a salted caramel iced coffee the regular size which is $4 but it's $0.50 for the syrup& the large size is a dollar more. I had to ask for a straw because it doesn't usually come with one I guess which is fine. The flavor is a little bit different than what I'm used to, also I noticed there's a lot of gunkiness in the drink I'm not exactly sure what it is but it's not smooth like a regular drink there's some residue. I'm interested in trying just the iced coffee without any syrup maybe it will be a little bit more palatable for me. I'll attach a picture of the build up. However, I don't know if the half & half was bad, or what but I have a headache and feel super nauseous after drinking it. read more

Great find with great drinks and tasty breakfast burrito! Came here for the first time today and was stoked on our visit. We were able to find seating on a Sunday morning (most guests were rotating quickly for to-go orders). The inside is minimalist and simple. They seemed to have a lot of drink options, and decaf espresso, which is great because it seems not a lot of places offer this anymore (and my husband is very sensitive to caffeine). He had a decaf americano, and I tried their pumpkin sage latte, which was amazing - very frothy, and not overly sweet at all. We split the breakfast burrito which was super tasty, didn't fall apart while eating it, and it had great salsa on the side. Will definitely be coming again. read more

I love this new coffee shop that just opened up in South Oceanside. My wife and I have been watching their construction progress over the past year and today I'm excited to finally try their coffee. It was excellent. It's in a great location opposite the lagoon in a newly remodeled building. Easy to walk to or park if you're driving. The owners have done a wonderful job creating a bright, welcoming, and friendly space. It's beautiful inside really. I'm excited that they are in the neighborhood. if you want a good sourdough bagel with actual avocado, DO NOT come here. i came here because i wanted a sourdough bagel and was visiting the area, but the bagel just tasted like white bread and i'm not even sure the butter that i paid $1 for was on there. the avocado was actually more like guacamole (which i did not want) and was not advertised as such. i was expecting slices of avocado. this mash mixture had lemon and pepper, which i can not stand. it also took about 15 minutes and it was not even that warm. it was not busy. the worker could have said something like "sorry for the wait, it will be out shortly". i work in food service and this was a very disappointing experience and i will not be returning here. read more

I'm a bit of a coffee snob and this is my new favorite place in Oceanside. I've tried a couple of the different drinks they offer and have liked them all, but the drink that has blown my mind is one of their rotating flavors: a grapefruit, juniper, and pink peppercorn latte. It sounds odd but I gave it a try and it tasting it was like tasting a chocolate orange candy. I don't know how they came up with this combo but I came back the very next day to get it again before it was rotated out. Also, the staff is all very friendly and customer service oriented. It wonderfully satisfies the palate- a touch savory with a subtle sweetness, while its bread is the perfect combination to support it's rustic, creamy avocado embellishment. I feel bad writing this but I didn't have a great experience. I wanted to try somewhere new so I came here from Escondido. The staff seemed nice, I ordered an iced caramel latte, their large is not very large and the total was almost $9 - they probably upped the price because I got half & half instead of regular milk - but neither my venti order at Starbucks nor literally anywhere else I've gone that offers a bigger size for their large, charges that much. So, I waited a bit and my coffee was ready, it was hot. I don't like hot coffee unless I make it at home. I stated out loud that I had wanted it iced. And I got the feeling they would've made me a new one but I told them that it was okay and that I'm sure it was my fault - I know it wasn't my fault due to the simple fact that I never order hot coffee. Again, human error, it's fine. I tried the hot coffee because although it's not what I wanted, I was going to try and make it work for $9 - I'm telling you, I have never tasted anything so awful. It tasted like thick salt. No hint of caramel at all. I gave it two sips, tossed it and went down the street to Starbucks. I'm giving two stars because staff was nice and I could've asked them to remake it. My problem is more about the price, size of the drink and the taste of the drink. I can't imagine anyone liking that drink, even if it was the correct order. read more

Bright & clean little coffee shop with friendly service. Our breve latte is excellent, both hot and iced. The iced latte really brings out the floral, fruity notes in the coffee. The hot version is crowned by the finest foam that has ever sat atop any coffee drink -- and there's a seriously thick layer of it! Glorious. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the location. Outdoor seating is only available right next to the parking lot, which is adjacent to busy Coast Highway 101. In pre-Covid times I would have happily hung out inside, but these days I stick to outdoor spaces. (I will say that the outdoor chairs are comfy and the tables are clean, and there's some shade from an overhang. Also, the indoor space does get a breeze from two large open windows.) Will definitely be back for the coffee, but for a reading hangout spot this place is not ideal for me. read more
