Literally THE BEST VANILLA OAT MILK LATTE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I've lived in SD, OC & LA and have never come across such a perfect blend of creaminess, perfect espresso flavor with the RIGHT amount of sweetness. Holy sh*t. I'm not joking. if you want a good sourdough bagel with actual avocado, DO NOT come here. i came here because i wanted a sourdough bagel and was visiting the area, but the bagel just tasted like white bread and i'm not even sure the butter that i paid $1 for was on there. the avocado was actually more like guacamole (which i did not want) and was not advertised as such. i was expecting slices of avocado. this mash mixture had lemon and pepper, which i can not stand. it also took about 15 minutes and it was not even that warm. it was not busy. the worker could have said something like "sorry for the wait, it will be out shortly". i work in food service and this was a very disappointing experience and i will not be returning here. read more

Delicious high flavor coffee - excellent brightly flavored beans, wonderfully brewed pour overs, excellent syrup flavors. Cups are small - so a large what other places call a medium so keep it in mind if you love drinking coffee you might need to order two cups. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in Oceanside! It's pretty small inside but the coffee itself is delicious.

I feel bad writing this but I didn't have a great experience. I wanted to try somewhere new so I came here from Escondido. The staff seemed nice, I ordered an iced caramel latte, their large is not very large and the total was almost $9 - they probably upped the price because I got half & half instead of regular milk - but neither my venti order at Starbucks nor literally anywhere else I've gone that offers a bigger size for their large, charges that much. So, I waited a bit and my coffee was ready, it was hot. I don't like hot coffee unless I make it at home. I stated out loud that I had wanted it iced. And I got the feeling they would've made me a new one but I told them that it was okay and that I'm sure it was my fault - I know it wasn't my fault due to the simple fact that I never order hot coffee. Again, human error, it's fine. I tried the hot coffee because although it's not what I wanted, I was going to try and make it work for $9 - I'm telling you, I have never tasted anything so awful. It tasted like thick salt. No hint of caramel at all. I gave it two sips, tossed it and went down the street to Starbucks. I'm giving two stars because staff was nice and I could've asked them to remake it. My problem is more about the price, size of the drink and the taste of the drink. I can't imagine anyone liking that drink, even if it was the correct order. read more

Bright & clean little coffee shop with friendly service. Our breve latte is excellent, both hot and iced. The iced latte really brings out the floral, fruity notes in the coffee. The hot version is crowned by the finest foam that has ever sat atop any coffee drink -- and there's a seriously thick layer of it! Glorious. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the location. Outdoor seating is only available right next to the parking lot, which is adjacent to busy Coast Highway 101. In pre-Covid times I would have happily hung out inside, but these days I stick to outdoor spaces. (I will say that the outdoor chairs are comfy and the tables are clean, and there's some shade from an overhang. Also, the indoor space does get a breeze from two large open windows.) Will definitely be back for the coffee, but for a reading hangout spot this place is not ideal for me. read more

Wow! We walked from Carlsbad Village down the coast to Bound Coffee Co, and we will definitely be doing that walk again. Number 1, the coffee is good. My husband had cold brew and I had an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. My latte was SO GOOD! The house made syrup was delicious! Number 2, the food was also good. Their breakfast burrito was delicious, maybe the best one my husband has ever had in the area! They also had some pastries, including a yummy gluten-free lemon poppyseed muffin. Finding GF stuff was a pleasant surprise. Lastly, the aesthetic inside is dreamy... clean, minimalist, bright and just plain pretty. They did a great job! We will we back for sure, they even had outdoor seating to enjoy our coffee and breakfast al fresco, which is the only way to go in San Diego. read more

I am a coffee fanatic and read good things about the coffee at Bound especially the vanilla latte with oat milk and the amazing breakfast burritos. So I set out to give it a try. I was graciously greeted by Ryan. Let me tell you about how amazingly smooth and tasty the vanilla latte was. Adding the oat milk made it pure heaven so thanks to the reviewer that recommended it. Now on to the burrito. Amazingly the burrito had a clean taste and the right amount of ingredients were epically assembled. The in house made salsa complemented the burrito wonderfully with the right amount of kick. Too bad this place isn't closer to my house but I will return with my wife and I am sure she will love Bound too! Give them a try you won't be disappointed. Thanks Ryan and team! read more

Stumbled upon this place months ago and have been going ever since. The coffees are great! I usually get a dirty chai but there standard cup of coffee has great flavor. They make the chai in house like the rest of the syrups and coffee mixtures. You can really tell! Today I got the breakfast burrito for my guys on the job site and we all loved them. They were wrapped like a true pro and the salsa was bomb! The location is great too it's the great divide between Oside and Carlsbad, I know there's a ton of coffee shops in both towns and believe me I've been to them all. This place deserves a shot if you haven't been, you won't be disappointed. Also the owners are there every day busting their butts and it's nice to see that! read more

Went for the first time today, I've been wanting to go since I saw them beginning to build! The staff were super friendly! I got the aero press coffee black and it was a solid cup of coffee! Great cup of coffee every.... single.... time! This new coffee shop definitely exceeded my expectations. The Iced Mocha and Iced Latte have a great (in my opinion, perfect) blend of sweet, and coffee flavor. I believe the most important thing that a coffee house needs to perfect is not only flavor (in which they have), but consistency. All too many times do I go to other coffee shops, wanting the same cup of joe I got last time, but it's ruined by being too sweet, or having a burnt espresso flavor, if you pay attention to the barista's, they measure at every single step. I haven't dived too deep into the food, but what comes out of the kitchen looks delicious! This place most definitely deserves a visit. read more

The BEST Chai tea ever! And just enough spice, not overly sweet or watered down like other places I've experienced. Amazing hot or iced !! The coffee is great, no bitterness here! Love all of the latte's with homemade syrups! The scones are made fresh every morning at the shop! OMG, I think I've tried just about every flavor and perfection on all of them. Cutest little coffee shop! My boyfriend and I went here last Sunday and were so impressed. The avocado toast was amazing and very unique. Full of lots of flavor! My coffee was so good. I got a flat white with oat milk and their homemade vanilla flavoring. They had good quality oat milk and homemade vegan vanilla. Also my avocado toast was delayed due to a kitchen mix up and the manager was SO accommodating and so sweet. He gave us free banana bread (which was amazing as well ) and was so apologetic even though I was in no rush! Great service!!! I will be back. Thanks Bound Coffee! read more

Such a cute place to visit. I had the 20 oz iced vanilla bean latte and it was amazing!! Baristas are sweet and the place was quiet. The only downside is the baristas are very slow at making the coffee. Both times we went, we waited a little too long for 2 Americanos and 2 lattes.
