I had it on pumpernickel bread, which was so soft. The avocado was so fresh and soft biting into it was just so wonderful. My smoothie was equally delicious and very filling. I'm definitely gonna return to hang out and do some work but overall, I had a great experience. I hadn't been in years, I'm so glad that the new owners are doing a great job.

We were told to order via the QR code on the table. We ordered 2 entrees and 2 drinks. First thing we realized was all the tables were given bottle of water. There were only 2 servers running around (and they did not look too happy). After 10 minutes we had to ask for the water, and one of the server looked embarrassed that the water bottle wasn't given to us earlier). I saw some people asking for the actual paper menu, do this instead of ordering via QR code. Seems like getting the actual menu was more effective to get the server's attention. Then we saw tables who came after us getting their food. So we had to flag down the server again and ask about the food. She said it's been very busy so our food will be out soon. The drinks came out first. I got flat white, and my daughter got Coconut Expresso Cloud. The drinks must have been sitting on the bar counter for a while because what was once a foam design on my flat white was kind of dissipated. My daughter's drink which supposedly should have slight two tones got all blended together. She even had to ask the employee if this was what she ordered, and he kind of mumbled it was (I seriously think initially he was not sur The saving grace of this dining experience was the food. The staff was very friendly and they answered my questions patiently, when I let them know it was my first time as a customer. Based on the worker's recommendation (breakfast sandwich and onigiri recommendation), I ordered the spicy pork and egg breakfast sandwich (no cheese) on a croissant, traditional mochi (filled with red bean and chopped walnuts - labeled with a "W" on the packaging), kimchi onigiri (made with Korean rice with red beans rather than white rice) , and the grapefruit tea with green tea base (hot). The breakfast sandwich was so tasty, even without the cheese! The delicious taste of the sweet and savory spicy pork, fluffy egg, and flaky croissant made me wish I ordered two of them. The walnut inside the red bean mochi gave a nice crunch and texture to the smooth red bean filling. Even though the kimchi onigiri didn't contain any meat, I think the crunch and slightly spicy pickled kimchi gave it enough flavor. Apparently, one of the workers let me know that the kimchi is homemade by their mother and the onigiri is made fresh daily! The hot grapefruit green tea kept me warm as I drank it, since it was pretty cold that day. Even though the entrance area doesn't have much seating, if you go upstairs, there is a lot more seating available. I would come visit again! :)
