Great place for a Sunday brunch - you might get the church crowd flowing in, so keep that in mind. We both had the huevos rancheros, awesome. Eggs were well cooked and the green chili was delicious. The real winner was the hash browns. I have never had them prepared that way. They were boiled, peeled, and sliced into little chips (for lack of a better term). Then they were put on the flattop and were super crisped up. Service was awesome, both in taking our orders and running the food.

The eggs were four dollars. They were overcooked. I ordered them extra soft. The pancakes were dry. Tasted like they came from a mix. Not a great look for a breakfast place. The service wasn't great. Had to wait for a table because they had incomplete parties sat. The waitress did not notice the eggs were cooked. Put them in front of me. Did not ask how they were. Left trash sitting on the table empty creamers, the little wrapper for the silverware there's trash underneath the table. The ambience is a café but dirty. Would not recommend. Been there three times in the last five years. All the experiences have been about the same.

Bowles Cafe is your typical diner/breakfast spot. I got the Bowles Breakfast which came loaded w/ 2 eggs, hashbrowns, your choice of protein & your choice of pancakes, French toast or biscuits & gravy. I have never tried biscuits & gravy but coming here I decided to try it & OMG it is my new favorite. They do have a bar so if you want some mimosas or really anything the bar seems to always be open. May be wrong but a friend & I went on a Sunday morning at around 7 or 8am & we were both able to get a drink (: Staff was friendly & the food was ready pretty quickly. Excited to come by again!

We were looking to discovery a different breakfast place so I searched Yelp for "Breakfast near me". Bowles Cafe came up and we headed over to the restaurant. I'm glad I didn't look at the reviews or I might have missed this gem. Bowles Cafe isn't looking to be different like First Watch or Toast. It's more of a restaurant like Littleton Cafe, except Bowles Café stays open longer so you can enjoy lunch without rushing. Bowles Café reminds me of the Greek diners we used to frequent back in Illinois. The menus are simple, good food and large portions. They let you season your food so you don't have to worry about it being too salty, peppery or spicy. (If you want spicy, they have some Mexican dishes.) The hash browns aren't shredded, but rather chopped which we liked. We also like that they provided a pot of coffee for the table so we didn't have to flag a server down to get more. We'd like to go back sometime soon and try something from their lunch menu.

Bland food. Kind of dirty. Terrible service. Overall I would not recommend. Green chili was a strange consistency.

We have made the Bowles Cafe our breakfast go to. Homemade breakfast without a pile of dirty dishes is stellar in my book.

We gave this unassuming little strip mile joint a try on Father's Day based on its great reviews…read moreoverall, it was a very good experience. They do not offer high chairs and I definitely miss this is it meant that I had to try to juggle a beer and eating dinner with my 13 month old which definitely takes away from the experience so if you're gonna go in with kids be prepared. My son had the barbecue wings and they were very good. They had been smoked instead of just thrown in the fryer which was a nice touch. The blue cheese chips were really good as were the fish and chips. We had it with cod. Oh my goodness Yum next time my way to give the cheese ball a skip because it just wasn't my thing, but I knew that going in my husband wanted to try it though

We came early enough that we got a booth no problem but note if you've got a larger party with little ones, you may have a wait - most of their seating options are high tops and they don't have highchairs. Now. Alaskan cuisine was a new one for me, but I was excited to try. We started our journey with some huckleberry old fashioneds. I love huckleberry and will always get it if available and this did not lead me astray. We started with crab dip which was a hit even with our baby. For the mains, my husband got the meatloaf platter and was obsessed. I had their specialty burger (a mix of beef and elk) that included arugula, goat cheese, jam and some onions - also top notch. To finish things off we got chocolate raspberry cheesecake and... Wow. Delectable. If it's not obvious, the food here is epic and I love the concept and theme. Will happily return next time we're in the area. That cheesecake though....

The blood orange was really good and I would definitely order this again. It was by far my favorite of the three. The blood orange and the basil was perfectly balanced. I happened to show up on trivia night, which explained why the place was buzzing with energy and packed full of people. One of the biggest standouts here is how dog-friendly it is. If you've got a furry friend, this is absolutely the brewery for you. The massive dog park/run in front doubles as their outdoor patio, so while your pup is making new friends, you can sip on a pint and do the same. Inside, there's plenty of seating and a fun setup with arcade games and activities to keep both adults and kids entertained for hours. On top of that, I lucked out with one of my favorite food trucks, Rustic Nomads, parked out front serving up some killer eats -- the perfect pairing with a cold beer. Overall, a great brewery with a variety of beers to choose from, a welcoming vibe, and one of the best setups in the area if you're a dog owner. Definitely worth the stop!
