    Short stack eggs $12
    Jessie B.

The eggs were four dollars. They were overcooked. I ordered them extra soft. The pancakes were dry. Tasted like they came from a mix. Not a great look for a breakfast place. The service wasn't great. Had to wait for a table because they had incomplete parties sat. The waitress did not notice the eggs were cooked. Put them in front of me. Did not ask how they were. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Left trash sitting on the table empty creamers, the little wrapper for the silverware there's trash underneath the table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The ambience is a café but dirty. Would not recommend. Been there three times in the last five years. All the experiences have been about the same.

Bowles Cafe is your typical diner/breakfast spot. I got the Bowles Breakfast which came loaded w/ 2 eggs, hashbrowns, your choice of protein & your choice of pancakes, French toast or biscuits & gravy. I have never tried biscuits & gravy but coming here I decided to try it & OMG it is my new favorite. They do have a bar so if you want some mimosas or really anything the bar seems to always be open. May be wrong but a friend & I went on a Sunday morning at around 7 or 8am & we were both able to get a drink (: Staff was friendly & the food was ready pretty quickly. Excited to come by again!

We were looking to discovery a different breakfast place so I searched Yelp for "Breakfast near me". Bowles Cafe came up and we headed over to the restaurant. I'm glad I didn't look at the reviews or I might have missed this gem. Bowles Cafe isn't looking to be different like First Watch or Toast. It's more of a restaurant like Littleton Cafe, except Bowles Café stays open longer so you can enjoy lunch without rushing. Bowles Café reminds me of the Greek diners we used to frequent back in Illinois. The menus are simple, good food and large portions. They let you season your food so you don't have to worry about it being too salty, peppery or spicy. (If you want spicy, they have some Mexican dishes.) The hash browns aren't shredded, but rather chopped which we liked. We also like that they provided a pot of coffee for the table so we didn't have to flag a server down to get more. We'd like to go back sometime soon and try something from their lunch menu.

From the outside it looks like a small local bar, but once you get inside you realize it's a HUGE meeting place. They have pool tables ($1 a game), video games and a big, long bar with lots of TVs within easy view. This would be a great place to come alone or with friends to watch sports. (Especially if you're a Nebraska football fan.) But sports isn't the only reason to check out this place. We ordered the BYO (Build Your Own) burgers from their new menu. They were juicy and delicious. I got mine with some pulled pork which was also very good. Our server, Paul J. was super helpful because we told him it was our first time there. Our food came quickly and Paul was attentive with our drinks. The place also has a nice homey feel to it. The name "Lucky Mutt" hints of a dog theme and the walls are covered with pictures of people's pets. The manager collects pictures of dogs that patrons email him. Then he prints them off and frames them for the walls. It's a wonderfully nice touch to make this place even more comfortable. If you're craving some good food or looking for a selections of beers to try while you watch the game. Check this place out.

I love huckleberry and will always get it if available and this did not lead me astray. We started with crab dip which was a hit even with our baby. For the mains, my husband got the meatloaf platter and was obsessed. I had their specialty burger (a mix of beef and elk) that included arugula, goat cheese, jam and some onions - also top notch. To finish things off we got chocolate raspberry cheesecake and... Wow. Delectable. If it's not obvious, the food here is epic and I love the concept and theme. I happened to show up on trivia night, which explained why the place was buzzing with energy and packed full of people. One of the biggest standouts here is how dog-friendly it is. If you've got a furry friend, this is absolutely the brewery for you. The massive dog park/run in front doubles as their outdoor patio, so while your pup is making new friends, you can sip on a pint and do the same. Inside, there's plenty of seating and a fun setup with arcade games and activities to keep both adults and kids entertained for hours. On top of that, I lucked out with one of my favorite food trucks, Rustic Nomads, parked out front serving up some killer eats -- the perfect pairing with a cold beer. Overall, a great brewery with a variety of beers to choose from, a welcoming vibe, and one of the best setups in the area if you're a dog owner. Definitely worth the stop!
