I was looking for something quick to pick up for dinner on my way home and saw Teriyaki Boy so I decided to try it. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. The menu has a lot of options and you can customize a bowl with your protein, veggies, base, and sauce. They have a large variety of sauces. I ordered the broccoli boy bowl with steak and doubled up on protein with chicken as well. I also ordered potstickers to try. The portions of the bowls are huge and I had leftovers. The food was fresh and made to order. I went with their traditional sauce but look forward to trying other sauces in the future. The service and food were both good. Service is good, place is clean, this place checks all the boxes. The amount of food is good, everything is fresh, but it's kinda MEH. Everything is rather tasteless. The chicken was juicy, and decent amount given, but tasteless, even with the sauce. Veggies were cooked perfect, still crisp, not overly soggy, but tasteless. The pricing is weird too. $7+ for the basic bowl, but then you have to add on at least $4 for a protein. I would say most diners would want a protein, so why not just call it $11 and add up from there. I feel like if you were a body builder or athlete watching your intakes, this is your place. I recently tried Teriyaki Boy and had a good experience. I ordered a custom bowl with chicken thigh and meatballs over brown rice, no veg, with their signature sauce. The food was cooked to order (super quick) and was piping hot. The chicken was not super flavorful but it tasted good with their sauce. The meatballs were tender and had a lot of flavor. I would go back and try other items on the menu. It was a quick and easy meal. The service was really friendly. The employee at the counter offered suggestions since it was my first visit. The restaurant was very clean and had plenty of seating considering how small the space looks from outside. Driving back from the Sloan Canyon hike the wife and I were very hungry, and spotted this little gem (i later found out its a franchise chain) We both chose their 'build-a-bowl items, we both ordered chicken thigh, my wife had the soba noodles and I ordered 'asian greens', I ordered ginger garlic sauce my wife the honey sesame. We splurged on a couple blended Mango Boyba drinks. Dishes delivered in earth friendly round paper bowls. My wife devoured hers, I loved mine but wish there was more sauce. Since I had 'asian greens' they brought some clear, sweet dressing for it. Minor complaint that, when I see 'asian greens' I think of things like bok choy or gai-lan....this was chiefly mixed salad greens. Asked for two bowls with sauce on the side. One hot and one regular sauce. After they wrapped up my bag, I asked her if the sauce was on the side and inside the bag. She said it's all in there. I usually check because they never seem to understand sauce on the side (kids are picky). I got home and no sauce on the side and both bowls had original sauce on the chicken. I tried contacting their phone food delivery service "Toast" they were useless. This is an amazing fast casual teriyaki spot. Think Chipotle, but Teriyaki! You can go with a standard bowl or customize. I chose the Remarkabowl with brown rice and chicken with their standard sauce. I was not disappointed! The bowl was on the large side so two people could theoretically share but I had it to myself. They also have other smaller bowls you can choose with different components. I was unable to finish in one sitting but will definitely be back to try different things. read more

We are greeted by a Filipina worker and the staff is Filipino, our people! She is funny with a good positive attitude. My husband order the double steak with soba noodles and rice no veggies with the signature sauce. I order double shrimp with soba noodles and veggies with signature sauce. She said we have boba. I smiled, I love boba. And so we got blended taro boba. My husband has veggies on his bowl. He said no veggies and I said it's okay a little veggies doesn't hurt but if you don't like it you can put into my bowl, nothing wrong with that. I still give them 10/10 on food. The blend taro boba is delicious and the boba tastes freshly made. I enjoyed my drink very much. My husband said their boba is better than the other boba place we go to. I ordered a bowl at Teriyaki Boy with prime steak, peppers, onions, and noodles along with the signature teriyaki sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious my selection was! Had the Spicy Korean BBQ bowl with steak last night and it was very good. Large portion for $18 that is easily 2 full meals. Steak was tasty and medium for tenderness and also large portion compared to the rest of the bowl. Spice level was about a 6 which was good for my taste. Will be going back regularly. read more

New location in Inspirada area.. staff was friendly, place was new and clean but food was not great. Ordered 4 different bowls for the family. The only one that was ok was the Mongolian beef bowl. Salmon was way over cooked and chicken was dry. Bowls are pretty big but 70% rice , sauce on all bowls was scarce and no extra sauce in the bag.
