I love me a good poke bowl. When I left Southern California and moved to Las Vegas I had doubts that I would find a really good place. Well, my fears have been alleviated. Sweet poke is a great pokey joint! You definitely have to go check them out, the prices are decent, the food is fresh, and the staff actually listens. I will say this, you can't go wrong with any of the sauces that they have. Definitely varied to your particular taste and spice, and they let you sample them before you order. Bottom line? This is my go-to poke place since I've been here in the valley. If I find another place that's as good, I will let you know. But for now, this is my place! read more

Sweet Poke is in the same shopping area as Walmart, ross, & home depot at the corner of Eastern & Serene. Upon entering we were greeted warmly by 2 young gentlemen. I used to love this place. The Ahi Lover Bowl used to be filled to the top and always fresh. My Ahi Lover Bowl earlier this week was quite different. The bowl I recently got was barely filled above halfway and it was mostly rice. The tuna tasted sour I had to throw that part out and was left with mostly white rice. I called the restaurant before eating and I was told they are under new management and they have been instructed to give smaller positions. It's too bad, this used to be a good place. read more

Casual ambiance, lovely little indoor seating area, fresh made poke bowls, and all the toppings you could ask for. I ordered the large 808 poké bowl with mixed greens and even had them add extra spicy crab as well. This bowl came with plenty of tuna poké in three different ways, three toppings and a huge amount of deliciousness. The service was fast, friendly, and above all else, excellent! I'm sharing this as constructive feedback from someone who previously owned a poke restaurant and understands how challenging food service can be. During my visit, this past Friday night, I noticed poke bowls were being built by grabbing edamame and other toppings with gloved hands, but no utensils were used to scoop the toppings. While gloves are helpful, using the same gloves across multiple ready-to-eat toppings can still lead to cross-contamination, especially in an environment with common allergens like soy, fish, and shellfish. I don't want this to reflect negatively on the quality of the food or the staff, and the concept is great, but this is a food-handling practice that could be easily improved and would make me if not others feel more confident practices are always the owners first priority. This was my first time to Sweet Poke. It's really nice inside, clean with quite a few tables and is served buffet style. The service was awesome. The three people at the front were very friendly and helpful. I opted for the poke bowl with 2 proteins. I got the ahi and spicy yellow tuna. I come here very very often, I usually like coming here but today 8.23.25 The female worker at 12:34pm was actually horrible. She not only did spill my rice on the cutting board area she scooped it up and put it back on my sushi! what is that? And not only did that happened she USED HER GLOVES TO SCOOP ALL MY INGREDIENTS, she contaminated all the other ingredient and slamming all the sauces down, nothing about her makes me want to come back. so understand that what does was not okay. Then used the same gloves to grabbed all dry ingredients she not used one scooper. Then as i'm watching her do the ingredients I see that her gloves have ahi tuna blood and then she rubs her gloves to get the nori and tempura crunch. Very unreal. I was very excited to try this place, since I've been on a sushi burrito kick. I typically get my sushi burrito from across town, when I'm near my dad's house. I walked in and immediately saw one with shrimp tempura & I know that's what I like at the other place. Something in my gut was telling me to just turn around and walk away. The staff I was met with were all so kind, but seemed to lack confidence making the items on there menu. All and all, the staff just threw shit in my sushi burrito, and called it a day. When staff when to roll it, there was no effort into making sure it was indeed a sushi burrito I knew right then this burrito wasn't going to be shit I still brought it home and was trying to be a good sport about it, but it really didn't hit the same as the sushi burrito I get from the other place. With that being said, I might just still wait till I'm around my dad's house to get one & not come to sweet poke again. Sorry I honestly wish I could get my money back. It was a waste. My problem was with the owner that has a bunch of construction workers pasting around the restaurant going back-and-forth talking loudly about what they're going to remodel and is very uncomfortable for the customers to enjoy their food while they have measuring tapes and freezers out in the middle of the lobby. I've eaten at other Poke establishments and by far this place sets the bar on taste and overall flavor profile. Customers are greeted upon entering by friendly staff workers who are knowledgeable about the menu and their most popular items. If there was one recommendation, I'd like to see staffers use utensils as opposed to their hands when handling the food and making orders. Although, their wearing gloves and it might be a bit faster to complete orders, the visual optics of someone touching one's food with their hand (wearing gloves) , is a bit much.
