So when I first came to sweet poke and ordered in person, it was top tier and I would recommend it to everyone. But I've moved and now order online. Their DoorDash service is horrible. Idk if it's the way the online orders are set up or if their employees can't understand their online system. I've ordered 3 times in the last month. If you order a 2 scoop or a 3 scoop, it doesn't matter because you dont get an option to select the third scoop, so only 2 scoops arrive. I even tried ordering a 3 scoop plus and order of fish on top and they still only give you 2 scoops. This is such a bad deal for delivery that I've had to come and write this review. I just want a perfect bowl like in the beginning. I order so much food, and I loved this place but I can't continue to support a half effort. Thanks for the memories but that's all it'll be. I ordered two extra large bowls I come here all the time, I go to this one and the one on rainbow, when I got there the employees didn't seem to care they didn't smile, and they weren't enthusiastic. I used to love this place. The Ahi Lover Bowl used to be filled to the top and always fresh. My Ahi Lover Bowl earlier this week was quite different. The bowl I recently got was barely filled above halfway and it was mostly rice. The tuna tasted sour I had to throw that part out and was left with mostly white rice. During my visit, this past Friday night, I noticed poke bowls were being built by grabbing edamame and other toppings with gloved hands, but no utensils were used to scoop the toppings. While gloves are helpful, using the same gloves across multiple ready-to-eat toppings can still lead to cross-contamination, especially in an environment with common allergens like soy, fish, and shellfish. I don't want this to reflect negatively on the quality of the food or the staff, and the concept is great, but this is a food-handling practice that could be easily improved and would make me if not others feel more confident practices are always the owners first priority. She not only did spill my rice on the cutting board area she scooped it up and put it back on my sushi! what is that? And not only did that happened she USED HER GLOVES TO SCOOP ALL MY INGREDIENTS, she contaminated all the other ingredient and slamming all the sauces down, nothing about her makes me want to come back. so understand that what does was not okay. With that being said, I might just still wait till I'm around my dad's house to get one & not come to sweet poke again. Sorry I honestly wish I could get my money back. It was a waste.
