Omg soooo good. Sushi burrito places are hard to come by and this is by the best I've had. So many options and generous portions. You got to pick 3 proteins for each burrito. They had so many sauce options and I think you could do as many sauces as you wanted. The ginger sauce was so good! Staff was very friendly as well and took extra caution for food allergies. Can't wait to come back

Although I've never dined inside, it looks like it would be a pleasure

I love me a good poke bowl. When I left Southern California and moved to Las Vegas I had doubts that I would find a really good place. Well, my fears have been alleviated. Sweet poke is a great pokey joint! You definitely have to go check them out, the prices are decent, the food is fresh, and the staff actually listens. I will say this, you can't go wrong with any of the sauces that they have. Definitely varied to your particular taste and spice, and they let you sample them before you order. Bottom line? This is my go-to poke place since I've been here in the valley. If I find another place that's as good, I will let you know. But for now, this is my place!

OMG!! This is hands-down my absolute favorite spot for poke! Everything is always incredibly fresh, and the quality is consistently top-notch--seriously, it never disappoints. One of the things I love most is how generous they are with portions, whether you go for a bowl or the sushi wrap. I got the wrap, and it was HUGE! This place genuinely makes me so happy every time I visit.

Hands down, my favorite poke place in the area. I love the amount of options for protein and toppings they offer! I feel like the toppings are fresh here, every time I order a poke bowl! Staff is pleasant, no complaints there! Prices for the poke bowl are pretty good, considering how much food they pack into the bowls!

I used to like this place until today. The staff was fine, no issues there. But the mango they served was frozen. Sure, you prefer that every restaurant serves the freshest of foods. But in some places, if they froze their fruit you might be more forgiving. But a place that serves fish? No. That makes you wonder if their fish is actually fresh? More importantly, you would expect freezing the fruit to be a secret they wouldn't want customers to know. Therefore you'd expect their food handling practices to be top notch. But if they weren't on top of it for the fruit, it makes you wonder how they handle the fish. I don't really like making negative reviews. But this crossed the line for me. No ill will, but I won't come back

We had a to go order and this is my first time ordering from sweet poke and it did not disappoint! Disclaimer - I am not really a raw sushi girl so the fact that they have a cooked salmon mix is so so awesome!!! And they LOAD up that bowl. The portion is perfect for the price it is. The amount of toppings are endless, I haven't gone inside so I'm not sure how it is inside but the food is great!

Sweet Poké always hits! Hubby and I left the house specifically for some poke bowls. The guys working the front were very friendly. One of the guys helped us choose different sauce combinations and recommended my new fave (garlic ponzu and yum yum!) sooo goood. We've been here three times now and it's always a good experience and clean environment. I'm sure we'll be in again soon :)

I absolutely LOVE this place! First timer and im goad i stopped in! Being from Hawaii, i love poke & always looking for good poke spots. Sweet Poke is in the same shopping area as Walmart, ross, & home depot at the corner of Eastern & Serene. Upon entering we were greeted warmly by 2 young gentlemen. They were helpful with suggestions as it was my first time. I ordered the Tuna Lover wrap and added fried tempura. You can pick your fixins and pretty much create any type of wrap with available ingredients which is a good selection. My wrap was DELICIOUS- this place will definitely be on my list of "will return"!

The oxtail soup was really good: the broth seemed like it has a good amount of shoyu in it (it was dark), and had really nice beef flavor. There were also some shiitake mushrooms, which added to the umami, and fresh cilantro which, paired with the grated ginger, really complemented the savory elements. The oxtails were super tender and plentiful. The meat was well seasoned and fell off the bone. I've eaten a lot of oxtail soup, and this was really good. The limu poke was also solid. The limu was a nice touch: it's not as frequent to see it on the mainland, and I like the smoky flavor it imparts on the poke. The taro turnover was a revelation. It was so good it didn't make it to photos. The pastry crust was flakey, the taro was warm and sweet, and the Carmel drizzle was really nice. It does take 20 minutes to get the turnover, but I think it's worth it.

As I kept eating, though, I started noticing a strange taste coming from the tofu and the shrimp. I even bit into a shrimp head that still had the digestive tract inside, which was pretty unpleasant. After that, everything started tasting like plastic. I thought it might have been the plastic fork, so I switched to my own utensils, but the taste was still there. I decided to just eat the rice instead, but even the rice had an off smell and taste. I had my mom smell it too, and she agreed that something didn't seem right, so I threw the rest away. About 45 minutes later, I developed diarrhea. I can't say for certain what caused it, but based on the strange smell and taste of the food and how quickly I got sick afterward, I wanted to share my experience so others can make their own decision.

For context, when I say…read morelocal, I'm thinking of the Hawaiian plate lunch style food where you get two scoops of rice, macaroni salad, and your choice of protein. Grindz 2 Da Max has these plate lunches plus some other local foods like spam musubi, andagi (Okinawan deep fried donut), and Nomz candy. While I love their meat jun (thin beef slices coated in egg wash and pan-fried to a golden color),my favorite item to get is their loco moco. The basics of a local moco is a hamburger patty placed on top of a bed of rice, which is then covered by brown gravy and topped off with a fried egg. While basic in concept, it tastes so good together. What makes Grindz 2 Da Max's special, in my opinion, is the sauce - they use a gravy that is richer and more flavorful than the average brown sauce. It's so good. I also like getting their fried noodles. While simple, it's a flavor that reminds me of Hawaii, especially with it being topped with tons of pink kamaboko and green onions. The other item I love is their fries. It's the skinny cut fries and I get the extra crispy. To bring it back to little kid days, I will get a side order of teriyaki sauce to dip them in. While the food is great and the ambiance of the restaurant is very reminiscent of Hawaii, I give them 4 stars because the speed of service can be slow especially during rush hours.
