I kept hearing about this place for a couple of years now, and while we were up visiting family; my husband and I decided to go head over to Boxi Park. We decided to go before 5 PM after reading that they do a cover charge per person of $5 dollars. The garage is close by, and parking is easy. We noticed they have a way to convert cash to what I think was called Boxi credits? I can't recall, but it's due to the fact that they don't take cash here. It was probably 30 minutes after it opened at 12, but the inside was extremely empty for a Saturday. There were a couple of families here and there, but it was totally empty that even some of the food vendors looked like they were closed. We ordered at the Canonita box as I wanted tacos and did the 3 for $10. I ordered the carne asada taco, chicken tinga, and the cochinita taco. Came out quick, and I honestly loved them all. I'd say the size could've been a bit bigger, but then again, these are corn tortillas, which are usually smaller in size. It's still incredibly delicious. My favorite was the cochinita taco, the pork was so tender and soft I couldn't get enough. Although the carne asada was a close second. I loved the cilantro in them, just added a little extra flavor to it. I really was tempted to order 3 more! We were on the fence about ordering drinks, but once we saw that a margarita was $14 dollars for the amount you get, we decided against it. Maybe they tasted great, but I couldn't justify myself to buy one. We ended up leaving after we had our tacos. I'm sure this place is better at night or when they have events and/or live music. I just wasn't feeling it here. I'd love to give it another shot, but not anytime soon. read more

Finally came here after a couple years of hearing about this place and seeing how darn close it was to family, I finally had the chance to. Unfortunately, it will most likely be a one and done visit for me. I'm glad I got here before 5pm on Saturday because they actually have the audacity to charge a $5 fee for each person (including kids) after this time. Parking was close by and it took a couple minutes to walk to the entrance. There is a little booth you can convert money to card because it is a cashless place. The worker at the front wasn't overly friendly and barely said anything as we walked past into the little area. The place is nice with a handful of clever themed boxes such as claw & order which served lobster dishes. I decided to get three tacos from Canonita box and when I ordered each of the tacos, the lady taking my order looked at me like I was nuts. I ordered the "carne asada" taco which she says "oh you mean the grilled beef?" yes, what I said lol as well as the chicken tinga and the cochinita tacos. They were average size but I will say, the flavor that each of them had was wonderful and powerful in a great way! The meats on all the tacos were perfectly seasoned and the toppings were phenomenal as well. The three tacos were ten dollars so it's not too bad because you're paying for the area you're at as well. We decided to not get anything to drink because drink prices were crazy for about 8oz of margarita, ringing in at a start of $14 and going upwards from there. After about twenty minutes we left because after you eat, there's not much to do. They do have live music in the afternoon but you also run the risk of having to pay the door fee just to see them, when you can stand outside the gate surrounding it and hear the music from there. Boxi Park is a nice spot to spend time with the entire family and have something for everyone. This visit was on a Saturday afternoon and the weather was perfect - clear skies and not too hot at all. We had kiddos in the group and they had a great time in the playground area - which had a group and large group of children for them to play with, was clean and within vision to keep an eye on them. There are a few bars, giving a good number of options for a drink. For food there is a taco spot, burger spot, fried chicken spot and lobster roll option. While there are a good number of options, I do wish there were healthy options included. There was live music while we were there, which was fun, and goat yoga with the cutest little goats! Canonita street taqueria: located in boxi park. I tasted a yummy bite of a taco at the yelp noir event. So flavorful and juicy. This flavor comes from how they slow roast the pork. Marinating the pork in a strong acidic citrus juices adding annatto seeds which gives it that rich orange color and adds another layer of flavorful goodness. The taco also had homemade tomatillo salsa, pickled onion and cilantro. Squeezed the slice of lime on the top took bite and the burst Of flavors are out of this world. Well done. I would rate the food and the price a three star, but the ambiance a four stars. This is a great place to meet up with people and be outside, but the quality of food wasn't the best. The nachos I ordered were expensive and not very good. It was really a pile of chips with some cheese on top. The birria was very dry. The Margaritas weren't bad but not the best. This place did have a live band on Friday night which was cute but they were so loud I feel like I couldn't talk to the people at my own table. Came here for the first time today. You do not have to pay for entrance and upon entering there is plenty of places to eat. Plenty of desserts a lot of seating yes there will be a lot of people considering it is spring break however, even on a weekend it would still be pretty full, but even then you'll still find seats and you'll still find a lot of things to do while there. They have live music and a very good ambience to say the least. They had bouncy houses, face, painting, and balloon makers to entertain the kids which was free. I'm not sure if they always do this, but it was fun. Tried the burger grill one of the best burgers I've had. However what was a little intense is paying 48$ for two burgers, two fries, and two soda cans between two people. Good but pricey. Definitely not a place to try if you have kids or if you're not looking to spend a lot of money. I will say it might've been worth the money if the burgers were a little bit bigger, but they still were very delicious. It's just the price. And for the burger, we got we couldn't even make it into a meal. The fries were well seasoned, the bacon was crispy, and the sauce was delicious. Tried the tender spot. Was also very good. Then tried the cañonita taco spot. Was also very good. And the workers do a very good job at keeping the place, tidy and being very respectful and kind and very helpful. One worker did have a weird attitude with another customer, but other than that, a lot of the workers were very kind. The bathrooms were very modern and tidy. Also, it is pet friendly. This was not a Chicago dog. Here's why. Served on half a baguette which was cold and hard. Baguette! The dog was cold. The Sport Peppers were not Sport peppers. The pickle spears were microscopic. The tomato was unripe. The relish was not Chicago relish. No celery seed was used at all. I took one bite, did the right thing and threw it in the trash. Went to Chroma for an excellent meal. I've read the reviews regarding Boxi Park. The response to people's food complaints is standard. " We will pass this on to our Executive Chef and culinary team." Boxi Park has a very fun and chill vibe. We went on a Saturday late afternoon and didn't leave till closing time. They had a live band playing old school music and they were amazing. This band had everyone on their feet and kept the crowd lively for several hours. Perfect place to people watch as well. As far as the food I wasn't impressed. I had a burger from The Grill Next Door and it tasted like a school cafeteria burger. I also tried the guacamole with chips from Canonita Street Taqueria and it was so bland, no flavor at all, just tasted like mashed up avocado. I got a side of mac and cheese from Claw and Order and that was really good. The Mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. Other than the great entertainment La Cajita had the best margaritas. The margaritas came in a good size cup and they had different flavors available like guava with passion fruit. These margaritas had the perfect balance of sweetness and tequila. If the food was better I would've given 5 stars but between the drinks and entertainment that's enough for me to comeback for a good time. read more

Boxi park is wonderful for the family, it's even pet friendly! I enjoy their many food options that are available and the prices are not bad at all. Food is great and drinks are mostly great. Staff is very friendly and do a great job at keeping the areas clean. Side note: I have noticed that the margaritas from la cajita even from just having one will lead to a major headache (hangover) the next day, not sure if it is the type of tequila they're using. Many of my friends expressed the same concern. I avoid the margaritas and go for beers instead. Also, They do charge covers on some nights which was never a thing when they first opened. Nice outdoor venue in Lake Nona. The "boxes" are shipping containers. There's something for everyone here from ice cream to alcohol along with live music and beach volleyball. Food & atmosphere were great and we probably would have stayed longer if it weren't for all the flies everywhere. Felt like I was constantly swatting flies away from my food so couldn't really relax & enjoy our mid afternoon snack/drinks. We stopped by after it rained so just had to wipe down some tables and chairs ourselves. I noticed a staff member starting to wipe down one of the seating areas a bit later. The Birria Nachos @ CANONITA STREET TAQUERIA were a fav and a surprisingly good portion size. PARKING: Lake Nona Town Center parking garage is steps away which was free during our visit on a Sunday afternoon. What the heck?! This place has been awesome every other time we've been here. I absolutely would have given a 5. We ordered about $200 of food for the 9 of us. The app/site said it would be 25-40 minutes, so we waited patiently. We never got a text saying it was ready, just one saying "Based on the original estimate provided by Boxi Park, it's likely your order is ready now." But also no info about where to get it (the front). After asking, we went to the front and our food was behind a window with no one there. We waited 5 more minutes until duder came to give it to us. He packed it up, and handed it to us - but still no drinks. He got the drinks and gave them to us. When we got back to the table everything was cold. You know what's good hot? Lobster fries. You know what's real shitty cold? Lobster fries. And waffle fries. And normal fries. And Brussels sprouts. And chicken sandwiches. And lobster BLTs (I don't think there was really any B in there). Super disappointed. Pretty sure this will be my last time here. It's great and relaxing and beautiful, but shitty service equals shitty food. read more

I came for a private event tech week presentation and it was an awesome experience. Although we didn't get to be in the venue while it was open to the public so it's not the same as it would be at night we did get to roam the space and spend the day there. The shipping containers make up the entire structure so it's modern industrial design. They have a stage where we had our panel discussion and plenty of space to walk around and mingle. The one thing I wish they would have invested in would be real bathrooms. They have the nice trailer bathrooms but it still would have been better to have proper facilities. read more

This place is cute if you live in the lake nona area. The food trucks all have a little bit of food and good drink options. The only downside would be how expensive the drinks are, you would think with an authentic food truck experience the drinks are a little cheaper, especially with the lack of alcohol in a single poured wells drink. I love that this place is dog friendly, all the pups were so cute! Maybe if they had live music I would come out more, but not to spend $40 on 2 drinks! There wasn't enough seating in my opinion and hardly any that offered shade. So I hope they change that. The food we ordered was tasty but pricey and salty. But we only ordered from one spot, so I'd like to try others. The fried cookie dough balls were sooo good though so def recommended those :). The drinks were good and STRONG. I had heard of this place, and it was on my list of spots to visit so when I saw they were hosting a Hocus Pocus show, I wanted to make sure we came for this event. It was $10 per person and included a welcome drink. I wish it was themed to Halloween, but it was some generic fruity drink, and I also wish they told us what it was. It was decorated for Halloween which I loved, and the Hocus Pocus show was awesome as well. Seating in front of the stage was pretty hard as it is minimal, and we struggled since we got up to order food as well. It wound up raining, and I wish the team at Boxi Park pulled the seats on the edge of the roof in because they had become soaked and unusable. We tried the loaded fries from Claw and Order, which were really good, but needed more hollandaise. At Soto Hand Rolls, we had the Spicy Tuna, which came with some sauce, but I'm not sure what it was. It was overall pretty good, but I would opt for a different sauce next time. My husband had The Grill Next Door and tried the Bacon Double. He enjoyed it, but I had a few bites, and the burger itself was very unseasoned. I think seasoning could have made this great. Later, I saw some people with nachos, and I discovered they were Birria Nachos from Canonita, and I had order envy because they looked so good. They were around $20, but it was a heaping portion, and it could feed a few people easy, so from a cost effective standpoint as well, I would definitely try these next time. read more

I live in the Orlando area but only found out about this place when my foodie friend came to visit and wanted to check it out. It's a nice space with a performance stage for live music and a handful of food trucks. We decided to try Claw & Order. I got the Claw &Order original and my friend got the lobster royale. We were severely disappointed when they both came out. Both rolls had very little actual lobster in them. You can even see it in the picture. We were basically eating dressed bread rolls. Even the lobster royale, which cost $16, was disappointing. I've gotten food from a lot of food trucks and I know you can't compare all of them to a full meal but come on. How are you gonna call that a lobster roll... At least the roll itself was okay. I mean you can't really mess up buttered bread. If I come back, I would try one of the other places. read more

Boxi park is an outdoor food hall where everyone operates out of shipping containers. They do have a lot of options which is great for when people want different foods. We got birria nachos and a margarita. We didn't love either of these but the idea was good. Our margarita was overly sweet but it was still strong. the nachos didn't have enough cheese or toppings on it and it was quite expensive. Boxi did have a live band which would have been nice but it was very loud. Other options at the food park included lobster rolls, American food, desserts, Chinese food and Mexican. Besides all the amazing food trucks they have a volleyball net for everyone to join in a game, or come for live entertainment each week, even yoga on Saturdays how cool!!! Lots of seating. They also had a live band and DJ!! Food: I had the nachos (so good, big enough for 2-3 people to share). The shredded beef and toppings were perfect. (($16)) Buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious with the pickled onions and good amount of sauce. The chicken breast was a little smaller, but still delicious (($7)) the double burger was HUGE and tasty (($14?)) and the onion rings were perfectly crispy. The passion fruit margarita brought a kick. Strong but fruity and delicious (($14)) There are some parking garages around the corner for parking- not sure of the cost. Fun spot for the whole family. We made it out on a Sunday evening to find a live band playing, packed beach volleyball courts and play ground full of kids plus tasty drinks and eats. We went to the claw and order because lobster rolls were calling our names from the get. We got the simple and fresh lemon lobster roll and the Royale topped with potato stickes and fresh shaved truffles. Both were very tasty just wanted a little more meat for such a big bun. We had a fabulous smash burger from the Grill Next Door called the Juicy Lucy with breaded fried cheese...it was perfectly seasoned and served with equally well seasoned fries.
