We had a very friendly and chatty associate (I did not catch his name ) but he made the experience much quicker and enjoyable! My boyfriend tried on about three suits before I decided on a color, then simply had to find a good size for his long arms. We needed the suit that same day so they took in his measurements to style to our liking and he arrived about 3 hours later to pick it up. It was just under $400 for that brand (including the tailoring), but i adore the resulting look and will definitely get plentiful use out of it, for years to come. Instead of helping, she gave me a dirty look and responded, "You can't grab it yourself?" I was honestly caught off guard by how rude and dismissive the interaction was. I tried to brush it off, assuming maybe she was having a bad day, but when I came back recently I noticed the same behavior again. She walked right past customers without greeting anyone, then loudly greeted and chatted with her coworker instead. Customer service doesn't have to be overly friendly, but basic respect and professionalism should be expected. The attitude from this employee made the store feel unwelcoming and uncomfortable. I still love alo, but I'd be mindful of this location if management doesn't check their workers. This is only about one employee, everyone else I've encountered here has been friendly, helpful, and professional, which is why the contrast in behavior stood out so much.

Over the past year, l've noticed a big improvement in how things are run, and I truly think the new store manager deserves credit for that. In previous years, when I brought in clothes to sell, my experiences with some of the buyers felt very unprofessional, in fact I had multiple bad experiences with one of the female buyers that I notice still works there. She was very rude and condescending and now when I come in to sell I specifically don't want her to attend me. However, this year has been a completely different story. The newer buyers seem much better trained, more organized, respectful, and clear in how they take care of their customers. The whole process feels smoother and more customer-focused now, which makes a huge difference. In fact, today I had a question about the pricing of some of my items and the new store manager was very helpful and I left feeling very happy! Because of these positive changes, I actually look forward to bringing items in again, and I feel more confident in the process when working with the newer staff. Overall, I'm glad to see the progress and hope it continues in this direction. I have also recommended this location to my family and friends and they love the store!

The bad: I saw several tops with holes, snags or frayed fabric. They don't have healthcare worker discounts like the thrift shop across the street has. The interesting: You can bring in 5 items at a time in the fitting room.
