I love gacha collectibles and they have a shelf that has tons of different randomized collectibles so I bought one with famous tv show characters. Ended up getting Peter griffin! Enjoyed what this place has and probably would be back on my birthday to redeem my rewards that I signed up for.

Thank you Claudia for the best customer service and willing to trade!

I came here on a whim, and I saw they had the Mean Girls bag clips where it's a surprise what character you're going to get. I really wanted Regina George, but most of all, I wanted Damien saying, "She doesn't even go here!" Claudia, who is a Mean Girls fan and works here, went out of her way to help me pick my characters. I did not get Damien which I really wanted, so Claudia bought a couple of Mean Girls clips for herself, got Damien, and was willing to trade!!! I've never had such amazing customer service like this in a very long time! Claudia, you are amazing!!!

This is a nice cute novelty store of pop culture, whereas other places like Ahhs and Spencer's Gifts often have borderline risque and more adult themed merchandise, I'd say Box Lunch has more of a family friendly atmosphere and lots of nice licensed items, with a focus on the whole "comic con" culture of super-heroes, anime, sci-fi and such. It's in the Del Amo Mall

I've been a customer at this store for about two years now, and I wanted to share my recent…read moreexperiences that really stand out to me. Over the past year, l've noticed a big improvement in how things are run, and I truly think the new store manager deserves credit for that. In previous years, when I brought in clothes to sell, my experiences with some of the buyers felt very unprofessional, in fact I had multiple bad experiences with one of the female buyers that I notice still works there. She was very rude and condescending and now when I come in to sell I specifically don't want her to attend me. However, this year has been a completely different story. The newer buyers seem much better trained, more organized, respectful, and clear in how they take care of their customers. The whole process feels smoother and more customer-focused now, which makes a huge difference. In fact, today I had a question about the pricing of some of my items and the new store manager was very helpful and I left feeling very happy! Because of these positive changes, I actually look forward to bringing items in again, and I feel more confident in the process when working with the newer staff. Overall, I'm glad to see the progress and hope it continues in this direction. I have also recommended this location to my family and friends and they love the store!

The good: I love curated thrift shops like this because the…read moreclothes are already preselected for you and you don't have to dig as deep as you would in places like Goodwill (though Goodwill prices are definitely cheaper). So, there are definitely trendier items here and clothes are organized based on different trends as well (Y2K, designer, vintage, etc). I like the openness and brightness of the store. It resembles its other location in LA. I like that the racks aren't overcrowded with too many items so you can actually slide the coat hangers and look at the items. I got 2 jackets and culotte pants from here. Each were $12.99. The store was very nicely organized and even had an armchair to lounge on. The shoes were in good condition. The bad: I saw several tops with holes, snags or frayed fabric. They don't have healthcare worker discounts like the thrift shop across the street has. The interesting: You can bring in 5 items at a time in the fitting room. One of the workers at the register was on her phone a lot but perhaps she was looking up values/prices of the clothes she was labeling? They do buy clothes here.

I usually shop at the other, larger outlet store, but decided to come check this one out when it finally opened. They sell shoes, of course, but they also sell socks, hats and key chains darned with their logo, records, and portable record players. The store is predominantly rows and rows of men, women, and children's shoes. They display each different shoe design on top, with boxes of shoes below on the shelves. Unless the display is up against the wall, then there are boxes of shoes above the display as well. My favorite shoes is the Skechers brand. They have very comfortable soles, so I look forward to wearing them when I'm planning to walk more than ten thousand steps. And because this is the outlet store, shoes are usually buy one get one at 50% off. Staff are friendly. On the weekends, they have free small bags of popcorn. The only problem I had was that it's help yourself, so it's not being monitored. They have their own parking lot, so there's plenty of free parking. There are two exits, however, only one opens up to Crenshaw. The other exit opens up to a neighborhood side street.
