Boycott is such a fun bar in Phoenix! I came here with some friends while on a bachelorette party and we had such a great time. It was the perfect place to kick off our gay bar bar-hop since it was much more low-key compared to the other spots. The music was so good, the bartender was nice, and the dancer was AMAZINGGGG. We were pretty much the only people there but she was giving us a full show. There was a DJ + a large space to dance, as well as a decent sized outdoor patio. I think it probably gets a little busier as the night goes on, but we still had a lot of fun! read more

I came here ALONE hoping for acceptance and kindness from my fellow humans. I was SORELY DISAPPOINTED. Only the few people who came in as customers during karaoke were amazing and wonderful. The STAFF HERE IS JUDGMENTAL AS FUCK. I just lost a ton of weight over the last year and am very tall, I came in here super cute with my followers. I was trying to have fun while being RESPECTFUL TOWARDS THOSE AROUND ME. I did NOT receive the same treatment at all. They couldn't take ANY of my cards like chime debit or PayPal, also don't have any electronic type pay at all. FYI Kindness is free maybe don't BE the HATE WE ALL see in the world. WE ARE A RAINBOW COMMUNITY FOR A REASON. All I was trying to do was find a SAFE PLACE to chill and you FUCKED THAT UP WITH YOUR JUDGEMENT (and eye rolls). That's on you, especially when I tried to have conversations and treat you with love and kindness but all I got was NEGATIVITY. That doesn't EVER create a conducive environment for LGBTQ+ humans. The owner Audrey prides herself on silencing any opposition to her short comings. They block people and delete comments on their public social media whenever someone has a legitimate concern. Recently many members of the community have taken a stance against the venue's use of AI marketing material and they refuse to respond and just keep blocking people and deleting comments. The place is also falling apart, the drinks are 20-50% more than any other queer bar in town, and the music is never good. I've been coming here for years but I'm done. I hope a lesbian bar that cares about the community opens in the valley soon. read more

The owner is rude; and charges for water. Tap water at least should be free to patrons especially when serving alcohol in Arizona. Definitely won't be coming back here. I also don't feel safe there after the dumpster was lit on fire and a patrons car was caught on fire due to this. I feel like they their security is lacking. I have had the opportunity to perform here many times over the years and even through the "big sick" was given the ability to continuing filming my live performance videos for local festivals with restrictions to limit those in the videos to just me, my manager and the camera man. I've been going to this bar for quite some time now since 2008 Saturday night. I decided to bring some ladies out, but it would cost me to get into the bar and sit at a table. No problem.! I'll pay for one of the women at my table who had a seizure disorder.
