I wanted a second opinion before spending that kind of money, so I called Nothing But Water Heaters and they got someone out pretty quickly. The technician, Manny, checked it out and realized the pilot light was just out. He spent a few minutes figuring out why, got it relit, and had everything working again in about 15 minutes. He also told us the water heater is from 2019 and doesn't need to be replaced anytime soon. What really got me was that he could have easily told us it needed replacing and we never would have known better. Instead he was straight with us, gave us a quote for whenever we do actually need a new one down the road, and wouldn't take payment for the visit even though I offered a few times. You don't run into that kind of honesty very often. I'll definitely be calling them when I do need a replacement, and I'm telling everyone I know to use them too.

Turns out, the sinks are very much up to code. He took several pictures, cited plumbing code, etc. I was relieved that we did not require a repair and that Francis and Pure Plumbing was so honest with me. Francis provided me with documentation of his findings that I can keep for my records and also provide to the realtors/buyers. It has been a pleasure doing business with Pure Plumbing and I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs. Unfortunately, my experience changed once the technician arrived. After discussing my concerns, only a very limited inspection was performed. The technician checked my refrigerant lines by hand and, during the process, tore part of the insulation covering the lines. The insulation was left damaged without being repaired, repositioned, or taped back together. I explained that I had recently cleaned the system myself and had been experiencing performance issues afterward. By the time of the appointment, the system had fortunately started operating normally again. Despite my concerns, the technician did not perform what I would consider a thorough inspection of either the outdoor unit or the indoor head unit. Several areas I asked about were dismissed with comments such as, "Don't worry about that, it doesn't need cleaning." When I later asked about replacement options and newer systems, the conversation quickly shifted toward sales estimates. I was quoted approximately $11,000 for a new ductless mini-split installation. While I understand labor, materials, permits, overhead, and warranties contribute to installation costs, the estimate seemed significantly higher than I expected. What confused me most was that the technician appeared far more interested in discussing replacement options than addressing the maintenance concerns I originally scheduled the appointment for. At the end of the visit, I was informed there would be a $19 charge. Assuming this was being collected before the advertised coil cleaning service was performed, I also provided a $20 tip. However, the technician then left without performing any coil cleaning service. In the end, I paid for a service call, had insulation on my system damaged, received very little troubleshooting or maintenance assistance, and never received the coil cleaning that was advertised and expected. I left the experience disappointed and feeling that my concerns were never properly addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.

I called Lee's, and the entire process was quick and easy from start to finish. Their automated phone system was surprisingly simple to use to create an account, and I was quickly connected with a friendly representative who found an available technician within a three-hour window. Less than two hours later, Brian called to let me know he was about 15 minutes away. I also received a text with his photo and notification that he was on the way, which was a nice touch. Brian and Marco quickly diagnosed the problem, had the replacement part on hand, and got the AC up and running right away. From the time I called to having cold air again, the entire process took about three hours! This was my first time using Lee's Air, Plumbing & Heating, and I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, communication, efficiency, and customer service. Huge kudos to Brian, Marco, and the entire team for making what could have been a stressful situation so easy. Predatory flat-rate pricing, aggressive padding, and their workers are probably paid by commission and trained to be as charismatic as possible. Once you sign, you cannot argue down the bill. Pretty much every service they have offered and charged for is 2x the price. They do not work very fast, and do a very uninformative and sub-par job. Don't get yourself tied in with them. Go for a second opinion, or a third. Do your research and avoid large scale bureaucratic companies like this. Save your money.

And it was a TOUGH one…read more Not only was it 120 degrees outside, and much hotter in the attic, they had to pull in and out the new and old air handler through a small access panel, all while it was over 130 degrees in the attic. The team had some obstacles I suspect they didn't realize at time of quote. Ranier, Carlos, Kyle, Luis, and a few other guys on the team managed the heat and the install in one day. I can't say enough good about Super Service; they did our inspection when we were buying the home and we've stuck with them ever since. They stayed until the work was complete, where two other companies told us they would have to quit work by 6:30. These guys stayed not only til the job was done, but until they could verify our house (92 degrees inside) was cooling down so we could sleep here the night they finished. Uber-professional, courteous, respectful, and cheerful, this crew is as good as I've seen. Makes me chuckle a little that my neighbor lost his AC the same night I did, and they went with another company. He's on day 3 of his replacement. All days where the ambient was at least 111 degrees.

He was courteous and timely with communication during the initial bid and follow-up contact. Following a few other consultations from other companies, Super Service was willing to best meet my needs on price and timely scheduling of the installation; beating other competitors. This was important to me given the current heat wave. Installation Tech Kyle was on time the following day and incredibly polite and communicative during the multi-hour install window. He double & triple checked that the installation was successful, was mindful of my dog and when in my upstairs rooms to access the attic, and ensured all my questions were answered before leaving. No doubt that Super Service will be top of mind should I have HVAC/Plumbing needs in the future thanks to the professionalism & solid work by Ranier & Kyle.
