Do not sell a used car to this Dealership. We sold our 2016 Jeep on 12/3/2021 to Bozard. Was advised to wait 2-3 weeks to pick up our "equity" check. Didn't call until just before Christmas. No return phone call. Called after Christmas. No return phone call. Called after New Year. Guess what....no return phone call. Finally spoke to someone who pointed me in the right direction and guess what, left another message and no return call. I have no less than 10 calls into Bozard looking for my "equity" check. I even called my lender and they settled with Bozard on 12/14. Just left another voice message this morning and you guessed it...no return phone call. It kinda makes you wonder. My experience with the used truck sales guy Bill H was great. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a new or used truck to find him. Now with that being said, I did have a terrible experience with the finance guy Rick. The guy is a snake in the grass. If you buy used, do not purchase a warranty if the vehicle doesn't come with one. Don't listen to his speech on how you might need one and what could go wrong. also don't let him tell you that the warranty will go on the back end of your total price. He lies and makes money off selling people on warranties, all while taking it out of your initial down payment. moral of the story is save your money and tell them you want all the cash you bring in to go towards the principal of the truck. Also if you buy a 4x4 go and take it in the mud or have them throw it on the rack to make sure the four wheel drive works. Also take two gallons of water and pour it all over the sunroof if it has one. that way you can make sure it doesn't leak. Definitely don't count on the stealerships to honor their trucks after purchase. Hope this prevents any aggravation with someone. read more

Moving from out of state, this dealership is well below the service I've received from other Ford dealerships. I have read the reviews before coming in and so my expectations were not high but my guards were. Definitely watch out for additional charges to your bill and only agree to what you really want. I was very disappointed to see that they don't do multi point checks even though you have only asked for an oil change. Other dealerships I've been to do them as a courtesy, but not this one. Also, I had to 'ask' for my car which I saw was done and waiting. They are not too 'proactive' about getting people in and out. read more

Went to their "Quick Change" service center in mid October (2018) for "The Works" package, which is mainly an oil change and tire rotation. I've been doing a lot of traveling for work, and today (Dec. 2, 2018) it was time for another oil change, which I did my self in my driveway. So I go to remove the oil filter, AND IT IS LOOSE! I mean so loose, that if I wasn't a stickler for changing my oil every 5,000 miles, and I would have kept driving my vehicle until let's say, 10,000 miles from the oil change at Bozard Ford, the filter would have probably come right off, or if it didn't come off, oil would have insidiously leaked out at that filter connection point, until my engine had no more oil, and it likely would have seized up! Secondly, I have a Fumoto Oil Drain valve on my vehicle, where there normally is just a oil drain bolt (Google it if you're curious). This valve makes it easier to change the oil, as you don't have to unscrew, and take out the oil drain bolt, but instead, you just push a little lever on the valve to open it, and the oil comes out. Now, wherever/whenever I take my vehicle to get an oil change, I let the people doing the work know about the valve. I tell them they can either use the valve, OR take the valve out (it screws out/into the drain hole just like a normal bolt). Also, the valve has a small black plastic safety clip which pushes onto the lever, to prevent it from accidentally opening. So, in mid October, after Bozard Ford finished working on my vehicle, I asked them if they used the valve, or took it completely out. They told me that they did use the valve. I then asked them if they put the little black safety clip back on, and they told me "yes." Well, today, the little black safety clip was NOT on the valve lever. The bottom line is that whoever did the work on my vehicle, did it very badly. read more

Went in to look at two used vehicles on Jan 1st. to upgrade from a mid size SUV. First vehicle was in cleanup but had a lift kit so it eliminated that one as they are useless for towing. Second vehicle, an Expedition looked very nice despite high miles for the year. The rep that approached was nice and after test driving the vehicle decided to see what the possibilities were for financing. My situation does have some challenges related to six months of unemployment three years ago when my previous employer found out I had been interviewing for a position elsewhere-a "mortal sin" in their opinion for members of their management staff. Informed the sales rep that I do have credit challenges due to this and was assured they are able to get everyone financed, and gave an me an example of a recent customer with a much lower credit score than mine was able to get financed on a vehicle with zero down. Moving forward I filled out the app, was asked if I was going to put any money down and indicated I was limited to about $1000 plus the amount my trade was worth as I travel extensively for my job and need to reserve my funds to cover expenses as six of my next seven weeks are on the road. Sales rep came back and stated that Ford credit wouldn't finance the truck due to the high miles and that they cannot get in touch with their banks today being that it was January 1st. Being suspicious of that answer due to the fact that if the dealerships are open-there usually are bank reps available as well, otherwise it would be difficult to be selling vehicles unless most everything going out the door that day were cash sales. I say suspicious because my entire career since 1978 (save for my years in the Navy) has been in the automotive industry, nearly two decades of which was spent with two dealer groups that included a Ford store, two Honda and two Nissan stores, Infiniti and Kia. The vast majority of it as Fixed Operations manager but also spent time in sales while training for a General Manager position. Also spent four years on the board of directors for the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Auto Dealers Parts Association in addition to a year as President. http://www.adpa-msp.org/ http://www.adpa-msp.org/pres.htm Having that kind of expereince in dealer environments it was surprising that they never asked for a deposit on the vehicle while they "worked on geting my financing" that they claimed to be doing. The next day, the sales rep came back and stated the only way they could get me financed "because of the high miles on the vehicle" was with more money down. Again reiterating my interest in the vehicle, they never asked for a deposit to hold the vehicle while they are allegedly trying to get the financing. After a day of only occasional contact, it appeared that they weren't going to get financing as they kept insisting that it was simply due to the "high miles" on the vehicle and without more cash down they can't do it. The following morning, I was looking at their website as well as Autotrader on this specific vehicle, and they clearly were advertising this vehicle as eligible for Special Dealer Financing thru Wells Fargo Dealer Services with only 10% down-essentially the same amount that I originally stated I would put down between the value of my trade and cash. So this clearly showed that it was not as they were telling me-that it was due to the high miles on the vehicle that was causing the difficulty. Contacing the sales rep again about this, he stated he was not at the dealership but would pass it along when he got back there in about ten minutes, and they would go to work on it for me. I also stated that I could put additional money down later in the week if that helps when my expense report for the prior three weeks deposited to my account on Tuesday January 6th. He stated that would be OK as they frequently will hold a check when a customer needs to waiti until a payday. An hour and a half goes by, finally hear from the sales rep via e-mail that they are still working on it and he'll call when he hears anything. Again-no request for a hold deposit. Finally get a call from the sales rep telling me that there was someone else looking at the vehicle "right now" and it appears they were going to buy it but he would let me know either way. Never heard from him after that. In al my years with dealerships, if a deal is actively being worked on with any possibility of sale to the first customer that was interested, that vehicle is placed on hold, keys pulled and if another person wishes to look at it they are informed of that first status. Since that obviously did not happen in this case as I was very actively pursusing this vehicle, and it wound up being sold while they were supposedly still trying to get me financing, my gut tells me that they gave up on trying for me a long time ago, thus my reason for a poor rating as I do not feel they were honest with me. read more

After starting the search for a new car- I naturally went to my local dealer in Orlando. He and Tom Krell worked with us via email and phone and streamlined the entire process with ease. There were no harassing calls, no pressure tactics, and any gimmicks. They provided me quotes via email- they even went above and beyond and sought out as many incentives as possible that I qualified for and made sure I was getting the best deal (this was not happening locally). What a terrible experience. I originally came here for a oil change. They said the oil change included a car wash and a vacuum. It took them 3 hours to do a oil change. When I finally got it back the car wash looked like it had not done anything. And the car was defiantly not vaccummed ..as it had sticks in it and dirt still. Once I got home I learned they didn't put something on properly so the next week I took it back and sat there for another two hours and all they had to do was pop something back on. I felt that my time was wasted and not managed accordingly. Disappointed in the service I received and will not be coming back. read more

An update: Bozard did the right thing and refunded my money in full. I appreciate the work the Sales Manager Jesse did to ensure the issue was corrected. Given the new found faith in working with Bozard I will give them another chance to earn business in the near future. NEVER again.... I am a huge Mustang fan and Bozard is close to my home so I went there. Buying experience is fine but be concerned with what you buy- they certify ANYTHING. I bought the car Sept 1 - a certified pre owned mustang. Come to find out it has been drag raced consistently and previously had nitrous running through it. I have owned the car for three weeks and put a hundred miles on it. I simply asked for a refund and an interest in purchasing a new car without the history - apparently I am stuck filing complaints through Ford. Would anyone want to buy a vehicle knowing this? I wouldn't but it was not disclosed. Now I am stuck and hopeful it doesn't fall apart from misuse and the extreme impacts resulting from the use of nitrous. I'll never buy from Bozard and will no longer purchase a Ford given these are the type of people they employ. read more

I've used this place for years, there have been a few things that I have been slightly annoyed by but they do really seem better than most. I was really disappointing with them this last Saturday though when trying to arrange for an oil change at quick lane - i called the service # and was told they only take walk ins on Saturday and the last walk in is 6pm - I called back later in the day to make sure and was transferred to quick lane from the regular service # and it rang and rang and rang. Against my better judgement I drove the 25 minutes from my house and got there just after 5:30 and was told there was no way I could get an oil change this late in the day. The good news? Been wanting to start doing my own oil changes and this was the push i needed - will go it my own and save some cash - it was a lot easier and cheaper than i thought - thanks Bozard!!!!!! read more

I have purchased a lot of vehicles in my lifetime, and my experience yesterday at Bozard Ford was the best I've ever had! After finding a truck I was interested in on line and requesting more information, I was contacted by Burt who confirmed the truck was available. We had about a 45 minute drive from Jacksonville, and when we arrived, Burt had the truck parked right outside the showroom and ready for us to look at. Within minutes, we were off on a test drive by ourselves and Burt told us to take our time and really get to know the truck. We did, and we loved it! Back at the dealership, we sat down and I laid out exactly what I needed for my trade and what I was willing to pay for the truck. Within minutes we had a deal.. no haggling, no back and forth with the manager. Easiest negotiation ever! The next thing I knew, Robert from finance was ready for me with all the paperwork and had secured financing with an excellent rate. The whole transaction couldn't have been any easier. Inquired on a used vehicle that had contradictory information on how it was listed and what the Carfax showed. The vehicle had rearend damage reported 4/11/16, but was listed on their site as having a "PERFECT" Carfax report and as certified pre-owned. When questioned on this, they acknowledged the damage reported, but replied if the damage didn't happen while in their inventory, they can't control what the Carfax report shows and they list it how they want pretty much. Why be deceitful? No wonder consumers hate dealing with car dealerships. These underhanded, deceitful practices are what give car dealerships a bad name. They're knowingly selling a previously wrecked vehicle as "PERFECT". Wonder if this previous damage will be disclosed if this vehicle's purchased. I'd say by their response to me, probably not. Just like the likelihood of me ever buying anything off of their lot. PROBABLY NOT. Wonder if this would qualify as auto dealer fraud according to the FTC. read more

Bozard ford has gone down hill.. I have always gone to bozard ford to have my cars fix and service.. for a 2 wheel brake job I have been waiting over 4 hours and my car is still not done. I was told that since there was no ford parts that they would get parts from another company not happy but I was told I needed to have it done right now. well the part where cheaper put they seem to have brought the price back up I was told 3509. is now costing me 550.00 and not getting the life time warrenty. Took my truck there for the engine light. The truck has 137,000 miles and the recommendation was to replace the engine. I needed the sunroof replaced for the second time as well. I was told there was a core associated with the tracking system. I wanted the old tracking system back to get a refund. I called another Ford dealership and they said there was no core fee. I was lied to by the service department. The dealership did cover the cost of the original purchase of the tracking system since it was only 1.5 years old. The bigger question is if they lied about the core cost what else was I told that was not true during this visit or previous visits. I have reached out to Ford about covering the cost of the engine and Ford would only cover cost of $3,280 out of $10K total repairs. I contested the amount now the paper work has been sitting at the dealership for a week after wanted to know how Ford came up with $3K. Ford customer service said it should take two days but going on a week due to Bozard not responding to their request. After this post on Feb 26, I was contacted by the service manager that afternoon and he told me that he updated the portal used to communicate back to Ford. He wanted to know what additional information was needed. Now waiting to hear back from Ford. There is a recall on the truck due to an unintended downshift into first gear. 1.5 years ago, I replaced the evaporator core due to the air conditioner not working. This was $1,000 repair on top of the tracking system that was mentioned above. Over all, I have spent thousands of dollars in repairs on a vehicle that currently has 137,000 miles. I will not be back at this dealership in the future. I have recommended other people to go elsewhere. I will not be in another Ford product either after this experience. read more

Be very careful of the service department at Bozard if you are a traveler. My experience was warranty work that could have been better by a seventh grade drop out convict. They installed a seal "over" the defective seal and damaged the replacement in the process. Additionally the service department did not realize the "overnight delivery" was not at the dealership until mid afternoon. On a good note the service specialist did call me with a tracking number which I did learn when the part was to arrive. i learned about 20 min before the service department informed me of the arrival. Maybe since the service department knew I was in a rush and delayed by the non shipment the tech hurried the installation of the seal. Just beware and personally manage any work performed by this service department. Good Luck! read more

I had somewhat extensive repairs done to my Ford Focus here. The repairs Bozard did had to be repaired after I got my car back home. I was visiting St. Augustine when my car died. I had it towed to the nearest Ford dealership, which happened to be Bozard Ford. I spent over 3000 dollars on various repairs. They had my car for ten days. I drove it home only to find that it was leaking oil. Not a slow leak, but a constant dripping anytime the car was running. The leak was coming from behind the timing belt cover. Bozard replaced my timing belt. It was not leaking from that area before they did the work. I had to pay another mechanic to repair that oil leak. They repaired my steering and suspension system. Now my car makes a loud popping noise and groaning when I turn the wheel. I'm not sure if this is safe. It did not make this noise before Bozard worked on it. I would not take my car to this dealership for service. The kind of incompetence that is required for them to return my car to me in this condition goes beyond mistakes made by a few workers. For the workers to think that it would be ok for them to give my car back to me in this condition the management must not be doing their jobs. How can your employees feel that it is ok for them to do such shoddy work, and on a Ford Focus. The Focus is literally the most popular car in the world. More Focuses are sold worldwide than any other small car. So there shouldn't be much of a mystery on how to repair it if you take it to a FORD dealership. read more

Horrid, Horrid Service Dept and Cust. Satisfaction,. Bought vehicle on 1/29/15 and as of today it has made 6 trips to be fixed. I have yet to have the car for a week at my home. After 5 days this time was ASSURED both via Email and phone call that it was "perfect". Four Managers looked at it. Sure, we get there (40 mile drive) and right away see the Epoxy still on the paint (from a prior "repair") they did...How can 4 individuals not see it? Because they did not want to. They knew sooner or later I would tire of being jerked around, and guess what? They were right!
