The guy that owns WOODLAND HILLS ALTERATIONS actually owns the one. This yelp account "Bozo's Custom Tailoring" doesn't have an address because they don't want it to be associated with the Woodland Hills one. If you call this number they will give you the address to Woodland Hills. The reason they do this is because the Woodland Hills one has real reviews of dissatisfied customers that's had stuff lost and damaged. It says that the person who's doing the alterations is named Esmeralda but it's a guy and he really is a mess. I'm really understanding and I get when you can have an off day but he really seems like he's all over the place with how he conducts business and people. I paid over $250 dollars for alterations, he damaged my brand new John Elliot pants and took the authenticity tag off, which I told him not to do and if he had to remove it; to put it back on. He then told me that he "oops might've given it to another customer.." ...... what is wrong with this guy? I was in a rush to leave so I said I'd call and deal with it later and paid for my items. I mentioned I'm missing an item to which he denied and denied only to later find the item a week later. It's been a month, he hasn't given my item to mail it like he said, I still do not have my item. My $1300 pants are ruined and he really blamed me and hung up on me for asking for a refund. Bridesmaid Dress and Custom Bag for Boat. They did an amazing job tailoring my dress. The dress was not sewn correct, they fixed the seams in the bust and also gave it a beautiful shape! After the wonderful job they did on the dress, I had them make me a bag for our sandspike (boat). There are good people in the world. Too often I come home from running errands, frustrated by rude drivers, impatient shoppers, or less-than-friendly customer service. But then I'll have an experience, as I did today, which makes me realize the world, LA, the Valley, is full of great people, doing wonderful things. With only days to go before our company exhibits at NAMM (Trade show for the music/audio industry), procrastinator that I am, I left today to do all my wardrobe prep. You know, I want to look nice as an exhibitor representing our company. I have a beautiful cobalt blue vintage, early sixties-era dress I haven't been able to wear because the back zipper seam tore away from the dress. Being blue and vintage, it would match our Tree Audio recording consoles and equipment. So I found a local tailor to beg if he might be able to repair my dress before Tuesday. I entered to find a sweet little boy, about seven or so, sitting in a chair among multi-colored spools of thread and racks and racks of hung clothes. I smiled at the black-haired boy with the big brown eyes and dark lashes. "Papa, a customer!" His father appeared. I yammered, "I'd love to wear my dress, but the zipper..." and took in a deep breath, ready to beg this man for a quick repair--hoping for Tuesday. The tailor nodded. He sat at his sewing machine. Put my dress under the needle. Zip zipp zipppppp. He handed it to me. "Oh, wow. Thank you. I really appreciate this. How much?" "Ah," he waved his hand. "Nothing." "No, you did me a huge favor." "Don't worry. Stop by again and then you can pay." I shook my head. "No, I'd really like to pay you." "Well, if you'll feel better. Two bucks?" "At least five. Okay?" I have a closet full of vintage dresses I would love to be altered. But, until now, haven't trusted anyone. I can't wait to bring them to Bozo's so I can wear them. I would give 100/100 stars if I could. I never leave any reviews but this tailor shop saved my life. 10/10 customer service, 10/10 craftsmanship, 10/10 everything. I brought in my pants the day before to be altered and was told that I could come pick them up the next day in the afternoon, sounded great to me, until I had an emergency the following morning where I had to pick up the pants way way earlier than expected, meaning at 7 am. I was in panic mode, I called the store and told the guy my situation and that I had to pick it up way sooner than expected, he told me that I could come get it as soon as I needed to and that he had my pants ready for me. I get there and looked at my pants and the length was absolutely PERFECT, so was the sew job. Wish I could give 10 stars!!! I bought a suit six months ago for a special occasion and had it altered at the store. When I picked it up it just didn't look right to me but the store tailor told me it looked great. Every now and then I thought about it, and found Bozo's Custom Tailoring online, read the reviews, and thought id bring it by. Once Farham looked at the suit with me and pointed out all the mistakes, he told me he could take it apart and create a perfect suit for my shape. So the service seems very friendly here. I just dropped off pants to be brought in and provided a pair as a template. I'm being charged $35, which seems high considering the pants were only $25. I WOULD have tried on the pants in stores but they're from Costco. I thought they would shrink a bit after a wash, but I was wrong. Anyway, the service fee seems pretty high, but we'll see how they turn out on Tuesday (today is Thursday) when I pick them up. read more

I do not have a before photo. But I asked to do a reweave to fix a hole on my suit blazer. Not only was this done quickly within a day, but it is hardly noticeable unless actively looking for it. A previous fix left a mass of yarn that would stick out from my shoulder. read more

There is a big difference between someone who does Alterations and a Tailor. While Farhan at Bozo's does alterations, he is a gifted tailor. As s surviving cancer patient, my entire wardrobe didn't fit after suffering a 75lb wait loss. There was a particular pair of pants, I really liked. I wondered if they could be "altered?" What Farhan did was completely recut my pants giving me essentially a brand new pair of pants for much less than it would have cost to buy a new pair. And he even made them a more contemporary style, narrowing the legs. I started bringing him more pants wondering if the price he charged me the first time was a loss-leader. It wasn't. Than I thought I'd bring home a couple of my favorite shirts. Favorite sweaters. A favorite sport coat. Even a lined baseball jacket I loved with leather sleeves. He's amazing. Part of me selfishly didn't want to share this review, keeping him as my little secret. But I couldn't, he needs to be shared. A warning however, you will get spoiled. With most of my old wardrobe now "tailored" to my exact fit, I don't think I'll ever be able to wear something "off the rack" again. read more

I took two sweaters here to have holes repaired, and a label re-attached on one... I chose the place based on the good reviews, but wish I had gone somewhere else. When I went in he seemed busy, and a little annoyed. I explained what I was looking for, and he said he could do it - specifically one of the holes was near a stitched design and he said he could incorporate the repair into it. He asked for payment upfront, which I haven't experienced before, but I did so willingly and with faith he'd do a good job. When I went to pick up, I inspected the pieces and noticed right away on one of the sweaters a large area of fading at the fabric around the repair that wasn't there when I dropped off, I asked if he put anything on it which he adamantly denied, I can see now that he ironed it at too high of a temperature damaging the fabric. The label wasn't reattached as discussed, and the execution of the sewing was quite haphazard with a loose loops of thread. If they were inexpensive pieces I wouldn't have bothered with repair, but they are both pricey designer items, which are now pretty much maimed. I am disappointed in the lack of attention to detail, and blatant disregard in caring for my items. The repairs are very noticeable, they were not executed with the level of effort I had hoped and paid for. read more

Simply disgusting place and person Farham is! Took my wedding dress into his shop for alteration I was completely nervous because it was a precious dress given to me. ( my wedding is in 2 weeks) First of all have some sympathy and be understand and make your customers feel their clothing are good hands. First he gets snappy because I wanted the dress ready as soon as possible, ( all I needed was the straps adjusted) but he wanted 10 days???! Im getting married in 14 days!!!! I called the next day, to follow up and see what the status was on the dress and hope I can have the dress sooner. He simply gets angry and tells me to pick up my dress and he won't work it. What a customer service does he provide?! At least make me feel my dress is in good hands, it's not a simply dress, it's A WEDDING DRESS. I picked up my dress he purposely Returns my dress with A HOLE AND PINK STAINS ON MY WEDDING DRESS!!!! HE ALSO HAD HIS SON RUNNING AROUND WITH A BAG OF CHIPS AND CANDY. NO WONDER MY DRESS HAD STAINS. A close friend of mine passed away a couple years ago... and this past week his sister was getting married in Vegas - and so I was planning on wearing his old suit to her wedding. He was 15 years older than I am so the jacket and pants were way too big. So I went to Bozo's and within 15 minutes he had both items fitted to me with safety pins, and knew exactly what he needed to do to make it work. I asked him if he could rush the process as we only had a few days before the wedding, and he MADE IT HAPPEN! This man is a true master of his craft, and it was really great that he took the time to understand my story and the emotion behind it.
