I attempted to purchase a used, 2022 Tesla Model X from BP Ford. I took a total of five visits on my part before I gave up and refused to take the vehicle. Day 1. Went to dealership to check out the car. It wasn't ready for sale. Not a problem. There was front fender damage, but I liked what I saw and asked to come back the next day to test drive and check it out after it was ready. I made an appointment for 3:00pm Day 2. Car wasn't touched. They wouldn't let me test drive it, but assured me it would be ready the next day. Day 3. I test drove it and it seemed fine, but the fender damage was still there, and this time the passenger airbag warning light was on. They assured me everything would be fixed when I picked up the vehicle. Day 4. I waited for everything and they told me it was ready, but when I went out there, they'd only replaced the tires and TPMS sensors. The fender was still not fixed. I refused it. Day 5. Came back a 5th and final time to a vehicle that was washed but the fender damage that they'd agreed to fix on the due bill wasn't fixed. I moved the car from one parking spot to another and not only did the passenger airbag warning light trip again, there was a strange sound from the suspension and I felt it in the steering wheel as well. I refused to take the car. I told them that I'd gone out there 5 times because they all seemed like nice people and I didn't 'feel' the high pressure sales BS. But what this dealership does is make promises, and they just don't do it. Always beware of people who say one thing but do another/and or don't follow through. I also made the foolish mistake of paying for the car and signing the contract which means they still have my down payment (I'm still waiting to get my money back after a week with no firm solution). I'm writing this to warn others not to put up with things like this. I've never had a dealership make promises, even put those promises in writing, and then just not do it. Also take note that some of the other 1-stars do say the employees are nice and make us feel comfortable: BEWARE because that worked on me as well, and it creates a false sense of trust. Update: I had to threaten them with a report to the California DMV investigation unit. The check for my deposit was ready that same day. Amazing. read more

My q50 was attempted to be stolen twice and ended up getting totaled with $17k worth of damage from them going through my sunroof. I needed a new car ASAP and wanted to get a truck after having a sports car for so long. I knew I wanted the 2024 or 2025 F150 STX because lime green is my favorite color and that model has it in the trim and interior. I also knew I wanted to buy brand new because of the new administration's policies on writing off interest if you buy a brand new American car. I was dealing with John here and he made my experience not so pleasant. He basically "little girled" me the whole time I was working with him. He kept trying to get me to get a Ranger, which I didn't want and kept saying to me " you're a girl you want all these nice features especially since you just went from this car". I went in knowing what I wanted and he just was running circles around me. I knew I would be giving up luxury features from my sports car to get the truck I wanted and I kept insisting to show me the car I wanted. We test drove 2 cars before he finally showed me the F-150. I have pretty good credit and I am an I-O Psychologist.. a budget isn't an issue for me. He was showing me trucks worth way more than the model I wanted, but when it came to prices, John was trying to get me to put down $11k on this darn truck with an $1,200 monthly payment. That makes no sense. I have NEVER EVER EVER put money down on a car yet alone $11k. He also refused to take off the "add-ons" that the dealership put on which is illegal. He said if he took them off the dealership would lose out on money. I told him that another dealership was giving me the price of $39k out the door and then he turned the conversation into trying to find a vehicle "within my budget." We went back and forth for almost 5 days and I ended up driving to DTLA to get the F-150 with the price I wanted out the door with no money down and no where near a $1,200 monthly payment. John is literally the definition of a sleazy car salesman. Like I have a freakin PHD LEVEL EDUCATION as a psychologist do you think you're going to out negotiate me with your stupid little sales tactics or by belittling me when you talk to me? When I worked in higher volume sales than cars I could make my freaking sales goal for the month in a day LOL. Like freakin read the book "Never Split the Difference". I shared some images of our texts but this doesn't even cover half of the stuff he said to me over the phone. I hope that any woman that walks into this establishment doesn't get treated this way. If you don't want to deal with sales people that are going to run circles around you or illegally refuse to take of dealership add ons go to Ford DTLA and ask for Jonathan-- he usually works in fleet sales so he doesn't do the whole run around and will give you what you want and get you out the door within 5 hours. By law dealerships in California are only allowed to charge you $85 for the doc fee and around $23 or something for the title fee. Do not think you are required to pay for things such as perma-plate, etch, and clear shield or a security system. read more

However, upon arrival, the car had noticeable cosmetic damage to the rear passenger panel -- damage that was not disclosed even though I specifically asked. The sales rep, Joseph, admitted they knew about the damage but still wanted to show me the car because I had traveled so far. He also stated they "don't have to disclose cosmetic damage if the airbags didn't deploy," which felt deceptive. Once back inside, the experience only got worse. The sales rep tried to upsell the car from the advertised internet price, pushing for alternative financing instead of my preferred option. Their so-called "best deal" was actually padded with nearly \$5,000 in add-ons -- including a high-tech alarm system and a clear coat -- on a Tesla, no less. Then I was told the dealer would *fix the cosmetic damage only after I purchased*, requiring me to make another 70-mile round trip (at minimum two hours with traffic). Upon leaving the dealership my partner driving the vehicle home noticed the vehicle RPM was very high almost causing her to crash multiple times. After an emergency stop we located the floor mat pulled on top of the gas pedal. Less than 2 minutes after leaving the dealership. This is a major safety issue, not to mention a separate incident through ford when I received another of my vehicles (bronco) from "service" with all but 2 roof latches not properly secured. Plus there's a large Hispanic man behind the counter at service who needs to take himself in for adjustment read more

The services have completely 180 since the last time I was here. The service was not up to par from the last time I was here. I was given total prices without any break down of individual services and had to ask how much each service was. I felt I was getting high balled and quoted unnecessary labor fees for services that most other repair shops include in oil changes. Be warned, the dealership now charges over 100$ for a tire rotation. They will try and include (add) this "service" to your oil change. This service is usually included with an oil change at most repair shops. The fact they are charging to switch my tires around does not make sense. To check my break pads you have to remove my tires right? Which they did and did not charge me extra for that. So why not rotate them? I asked for windshield wiper blades. They charge about 75$ for the tech to install them. This is when I was getting really upset because I just did not understand why I can go to an auto zone and get this service FREE. The service lady got all upset because I raised my voice a bit to address these ridiculous fees she was tacking on, and I understand she has no choice in the matter. But her professionalism went right out the window after this. Basically saying if I want the services or not and getting pissy with me. I imminently apologized for this multiple times. But she never changed her attitude after that. So I asked for just the oil change and wiper blades but I said I would install them myself. I was given a quote and left. I picked up my vehicle and to my surprise they charge a 3% fee if I don't pay with the link they sent me on my phone to pay online. WOW. So I got my paper and signed and I left. The service lady said nothing but here are your keys. They give you an inspection report included with your papers of the services done. No where did it show my wiper blades. No wiper blades in the car, no wiper blades given to me. They just said screw it. The inspection report I read carefully. At the bottom it said immediate services. Rear tire dry rot crack. My tires are from 2017 so their old. But I find it astonishing that the service lady would not even let me know about a dry wall crack on my tire. They have no concern for the safety of their customers. A dry wall crack is a time bomb basically and will blow out one day. Which could lead to an accident or worst. The fact she said nothing tells me she is unprofessional. Stay away from BP Ford. They care more about fees and charging you fingers and toes for services that only take a few minutes. I bought my Tesla two Saturdays ago - firstly, Jim Ahmadpour my sales rep wasn't upfront about the fact that there was a large dent on the car so when I test drove, I noticed it and I almost decided I wasn't going to move forward with purchasing the car. However, manager Eman Vafaei reassured me energetically that they would take care of the dent, which they did, however I was concerned because I needed my new car that week to get to and from work all the way in West Hollywood. Eman reassured me that they would Lyft me from Long Beach to work, and cover the costs with their business account. He let me know that it looked like a quick fix, likely only a day and then I would be good to go. Service called me the following Monday to coordinate when I could bring the car in after they discussed with Sales. They tell me it's going to be a 3 day job. When I went to drop off my car that week, the service team had no idea about the agreement for transport costs to be covered so I had to uber myself to work for $120. The proceeding 2 days, I had to transport myself to and from work. Over the 3 days, I spent $250 on uber costs. My partner tried reaching Eman all week to no avail. Neither him or Jim were responsive. We went into the dealer last week to pick up my car, stopped by the sales office. Again they reassured they would reimburse for the transport costs and now we are being ignored for the second time. We have followed up multiple times. I also had a gaping front left wheel which was fixed but is making loud noise now and the car is also missing all 4 floor mats - no response from them on this either. I would not deal with these individuals. They clearly have no regard for customer service, they blatantly lie, are not true to their world and will do and say anything to secure a sale. Eman and Jim begged me to write a 5 star review when I bought the car last week. They came up to me multiple times pushing for this and even told me to not log onto the WiFi because it would seem obvious that I was asked to leave a review. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but the lack of communication and support has left me no other choice. Took my F150 in for it's 60K service. Was told I need a brake flush too, as recommended by Ford every 30K miles. This recommendation appears nowhere in my owners manual, or any any Ford website. Needed spark plugs replaced, and a new battery. Had a check engine light. The check engine light took several days to assess and fix, under warranty. Battery replacement was priced fairly high, but the spark plug replacement was off the charts. $627 just for labor! That's more than $100 per plug! The book says it's 2 hours, that's over $300/hr. That is ridiculous. $1100 for a battery and 6 spark plugs. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Pretty big slimebuckets. My wife brought our car in for a warranty repair, and they said they couldn't do the free repair unless she spent $200 for a new battery. Keep in mind: Battery was perfectly strong enough to start the car, every single morning. It was not failing or faltering. (And it was a Ford battery!) They also are really lame at customer service (in the service department). You leave multiple messages, and when you finally get your service person, they claim they never got your messages. Dealer service departments often are mediocre anyhow, but this one drops to "anywhere but here." read more

They stated they will not provide just an stand alone oil service. I dug in and asked to speak to the service manager to understand why a service department can't supply oil changes, on of the most basic services you do on a car. After being rude, not acknowledging their mistake, and did not apologize for his or his employee's attitude, they finally conceeded that I knew what I was talking about, and they were not going to get another $500 out of me. This type of service strategy is pathetic and leaves a sour taste in anyone's mouth when trying to find reputable dealer. I am taking my business elsewhere, I would suggest you do the same. Trash dealership! I test drove 3 used cars. Every single one of them was in an accident of some kind and they pretended like it wasn't a big deal. One car pulled so hard to the left accelerating it could have gone around a nascar track without even touching the wheel. They buy these cars from auction and don't fix them up, but they are happy to throw an oily "interior cleaner", door edge protection ($20) and charge an extra $4,000 in dealer add ons. Most important part, when I was talking pricing, I was moved to another sales guys desk because the other guy had to drop off a car apparently. Well I left and they never gave me my drivers license back. I went a couple days without noticing until I called the dealership and they told me it was there. Keep in mind that I had multiple contacts with multiple sales associates and they didn't even think of calling me and telling me they had my license... They ran a hard credit check and dropped my credit score. If you're looking for a used car, avoid the f*** out of this dealership. Scummy behavior all around. read more

BEWARE BEWARE- Absolutely Horrible Experience - Deceptive Practices and Terrible Customer Service I can honestly say that my experience with BP Ford has been one of the worst I've ever had with any dealership. On February 21st, I purchased a 2018 Honda Odyssey, and the entire process has been a complete nightmare from start to finish. A few days before I arrived at the dealership, I spoke with a sales rep named Isaiah, who quoted me a price of $18,386 for the vehicle, not including my trade-in. When I showed up at the dealership to finalize the deal, I was greeted by Caesar and Bob, who informed me that Isaiah had been fired, and the price he gave me was wrong. They then told me the vehicle would actually be an extra $6,000 for added features that were never mentioned. I was furious, so I left. But the drama didn't end there. About 20 minutes later, Bob called me back and miraculously said they would honor the original price Isaiah quoted. At that point, I was desperate and agreed to move forward with the purchase. Little did I know, this would only be the beginning of my nightmare. On March 1st, the check engine light appeared on the van. I took the vehicle to Diamond Valley Honda in Hemet (the closest Honda dealership to where I live) only to find out that the van has serious issues - it needs all new fuel injectors and spark plugs due to misfires, totaling around $3,000 in repairs! I was beyond livid. I immediately reached out to BP Ford for help, but after several attempts and long hold times, no one cared to assist. I have call records to prove how long I've been ignored. Finally, I got in touch with Deana, who promised to speak with a sales manager about the issue. But once again, nothing happened. No call back, no resolution, just complete indifference. As an active-duty military member and father of two, I bought this van to ensure my wife and children would have a safeand reliable vehicle while I'm away serving my country. Instead, I've been left with a broken, faulty vehicle and a dealership that clearly has no interest in standing behind their products or providing any customer support. The van was eventually fixed at my own expense, after weeks of being ignored! The staff even gave me a fake email address. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with any dealership, and I will never recommend BP Ford to anyone. I reached out via email to BP Ford to inquire about a car and the sales representative, Ramy Bushra, was just rude and unprofessional. I asked Ramy Bushra to give me a breakdown of the out-of-door price for a Hydunai Ioniq 5, which BP Ford advertised the cost as $26,298. From the beginning Ramy Bushra was hesitant to give me the bill that would give me the detailed price breakdown and it was clear that he was trying to hide the hidden fees BP Ford would charge. Instead, he insisted on me giving him my phone number and just told me to go to the showroom. Mind you the way he asked me to go to the showroom was not something a typical sales would do, which would be polite and cordial. He just replied with an email that basically ordered me to go to the warehouse. When I insisted on him giving me the final price of the car, he would just replied with a flat figure $29,490.
