We have the worst luck with appliances. When our dryer stopped working, BR Appliance promptly arrived to repair it. The repairman was very communicative about what time he would arrive, what he would fix and how much it would cost. Upon arrival he was also quick to notice a stove knob that had melted off and offered to locate the replacement part for us so we are able to order it and replace it. Rad replied to my dryer repair request on Angie's List within 5 minutes with a phone call and said he would be able to drop by within an hour. He's a very personable and cheery guy, and had the dryer up and running in 30 minutes. It was a simple repair (blown fuse) but it involved a lot of disassembly and reassembly. The fuse blew again 4 days later and he came back again within 3 hours after I called him back. He diagnosed the issue was actually a clogged exhaust hose. He replaced the fuse again for free, and gave me instructions on how to fix the hose. All of this was done the day after his wife went into the hospital for surgery. Boy did we get lucky by finding Rad of BR Appliance Service! Our tenants woke up New Years Eve morning to find the refrigerator had stopped working. I called a dozen businesses and none would come out until after the holiday. I was about to go buy a new refrigerator before the stores closed but decided to look on Yelp. I found BR Appliance Service was located near my rental, so I gave them a call. I explained what was going on and Rad said he would go there before his next appointment. This is a Russian scam shop company. We hired them for a few jobs. Each time they gave a quote it was ridiculously expensive and the tech always had a long story about why the repair was needed and why all new parts had to be ordered. Not trusting them based on the explanations we hired another company to go in and verify if the repairs suggested by BR were legit or not. In two cases we found out they were totally ripping us off and the repair was much less involved than they stated. Be carful this guy is like a rip off mechanic! read more

I was set up with this company through a home warranty service. He didn't contact me initially for an entire week. Then when I contacted the home warranty I was told he had called but didn't reach me. I never had any missed calls, voicemails, or texts. When he finally came out he diagnosed the problem and said he would be back in a week. A week went by and no call. I reached out to him and he had a family emergency and could be out that week. Another week went by and nothing. I texted and he replied the next day saying he could be out Saturday. I said that I was busy that day and could we schedule another day. 4 days later and I still haven't heard back from that text.
