I got a heads up on this place from yelp, from time to time, they send me suggestions on new places to try it sounded good so I decided to check it out. The place was very clean, and everybody I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. It's tucked into the back of the Shell station at Bradshaw and old Placerville, but believe me, these are *NOT* your typical "gas station sandwiches." they have a decent sized menu. You can order at the counter, but I went ahead and just use the self order screen. , I ordered the Italian, with Aioli, Pepperoni, Salami, Ham, Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Oregano, and their Vinaigrette. When you pay, you also enter your phone number so they will let you know when the sandwich is ready. They were busy, as it was lunchtime. Still the sandwich came quickly. I got the text that my sandwich was ready at the same time that they called my name. The sandwich was very good. I liked their aïoli and the vinaigrette, you could tell that they were good quality, meats, and the veggies were very fresh. They were very generous with the fillings. I had it on sourdough, and it was a very good quality sourdough as well. I ordered a small sandwich, and it was enough to fill me up. For what I got, the price was extremely reasonable. Was craving a sandwich so we decided to give Bradshaw sandwich shoppe a try. The sandwich shop is pretty small with a few tables to sit and enjoy your food. Service was good, server and cashier was nice and quick. I ordered the California club. That was so good! On Dutch bread was delicious! They offer a variety of sandwiches with ingredient combinations that will please any sandwich lover. I love their Italian and especially that you can add roasted red peppers, olives, and pepperoncini to them. My husband typically gets the Italian or their Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The large may seem expensive, but it's huge and definitely enough for two meals. They also offer salad options and soups, along with cookies and a great tasting pasta salad. It has been awhile since I have been here. I was in the area and met a friend here to have an early lunch. We came around 1030AM. There was no one here eating yet. Some came in later. It is connected to the Shell gas and some of their workers came in to relax. A clerk was reading a book. Nice for their staff. I felt like pastrami so I got the foot long on a Dutch crunch. I had them warm it up. The sandwich was warm and crunchy but the meat was still cold. I would have liked it heated up to. Oh well. It took a few minutes , pretty fast to come out . I did enjoy their namesake sandwich, The Bradshaw which was a hot, melty & saucy sandwich! The 12" size was perfect for splitting with my husband which helped justify the price. I'm here to tell you the reviews are absolutely deserved because this is now our go-to sandwich shop! The bread is always fresh, they don't skimp on the meat or toppings, and they can melt the sandwiches, which takes them to another level. He asked me to pick a restaurant so we were literally right next to Bradshaw, so I thought I would try it again. This time I got the brisket sandwich, it was great. Slightly hidden location right next to the gas station. I thought my GPS was wrong at first since it had me turning into the station, but the restaurant is tucked into the corner past the pumps. The interior is modern with a great wall mural. Service was good, and even with a lunch rush, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered the pastrami on the crunch bread, and it was excellent. The pastrami was flavorful and tender, and the crunch bread tasted fresh with a nice crisp on top. First time here... dropped by because it was on my path and I noticed it had been listed on the "best sandwiches" list in the area. It's a pretty standard sandwich shop appearance-wise... comparable to Subway, etc. It's also connected to a gas station convenience store next door. Service at the counter was great! Super friendly and got my order done quickly. The sandwich was REALLY good - I got the Pesto Chicken on Sourdough and added tomatoes. one of the best sandwiches I've had in awhile. On the downside, they were behind on table cleaning out front. It wasn't busy at all when I got there, but I realize I could have arrived just after the rush? IDK. Every table I looked at in the area I wanted to sit was dirty. I'm a veteran and have certainly eaten in worse conditions, but also realize this is a big deal for some people and trying to help identify an area with room for improvement. We ordered online and it seems like most of the sandwiches come warm. There's 3 different sizes and we picked the small - for 10 dollars I assumed it was a good size. They were ready when we picked them up and I was shocked by the size of the bag. I opened it up and the sandwiches were so small! Stopped by on our way home to Sonoma county. Was looking for something quick and not fried and was excited to try this place. Doubly excited when we arrived and it smelled delicious. Son ordered the buffalo chicken on Dutch crunch and it was very good. I attempted to order the cali club but you cannot sub chicken for turkey here. So the cashier created a build your own for me. Got our food and my sons was delish on arrival, mine on the other hand had the bacon missing. Instead of being able to quickly resolve the simple miscommunication, a different employee felt the need to tell me why the bacon wasnt in the sandwich due to the first cashier not entering the toppings correctly. Being solution oriented is an important skill when working frontline with customers and I think Bradshaw dropped the ball in that area today. This is by far the best sandwich shop in town. The menu has something for everyone and they are making sandwiches fresh to order. I love the fresh baked Dutch crunch rolls! Located in the heart of Rancho Cordova and on the corner of Bradshaw Rd/Old Placerville Rd, this business is actually part of the Shell gas station. You can either enter at the sandwich shop OR the gas station as everything is housed under one roof. Parking can be tough to find; especially during the lunch rush. However, they offer very generous hours being open 7 days a week from 9am-9pm. My lady and I arrived here during the afternoon of Saturday 11/9/2024 at around 1:15pm. The interior layout is small but there are enough seats to fit about 25 people comfortable. You have the option of ordering at the register or a computer kiosk. Additionally, they have a cooler with soda, juices, and assorted pastas as well as a small condiment station that carry pickles, jalapeños. napkins, and other utensils. The restrooms (which are shared with the Shell gas station) is placed in between both businesses. I ended up ordering a small size their "Chicken & Pesto" (priced at $7.99) on Dutch Crunch bread. This sandwich consisted of seasoned chicken, aioli, provolone cheese, roasted red bell peppers, pesto, and balsamic glaze. Since it was busy, I expected longer than normal wait times. Come find out that it only took about 5 minutes from the time I ordered until my name was called. As far as the presentation itself, everything looked messy (but in a good way). However, they were very generous with the chicken while the fillings were plentiful and the Dutch Crunch has the perfect texture and bite to it. Considering I only opted for a small, this sandwich still filled me up throughout the day. Think of the small size being roughly the same size of a Subway 6-inch. All in all, this place is definitely worth checking out. They have much more elaborate sandwiches including "The Bradshaw" which includes chipotle, pit beef, pulled pork, bacon, cheddar, onions, BBQ, and hot honey. And they even offer a create-your-own where you can let your imagination run wild. And if sandwiches aren't your thing, they also offer a small assortment of salads and soups. With award-winning customer service, very fair prices, and delicious sandwiches that can please even the hungriest of people, I am giving "Bradshaw's Sandwich Shoppe" a unanimous five-stars. read more

My review is more of 3.7 than a 4. First the prices are too much. $16 for an 8 inch sandwich and $10 for a 4 inch! That's wild. I wanted to try the potato and macaroni salad but the when I asked if they were good she said they're good but her face said otherwise lol. I couldn't sample because they are prepackaged. That right there is a red flag lol. I actually thought the sandwiches were good. A solid 7/10 and I didn't feel like we got shafted on the meat like some sandwiches places do. The small sandwich size was so tiny and not worth $8. It's funny it was smaller than the cookie!
