Truly an unbelievable dinner!!…read more Got a reservation about two weeks in advance for our group of 4 for a Friday night. We got 8pm and it was just perfect. We were told that the mussels were a must get, and I can not restate this enough. The mussels are a MUST GET. They were unbelievable and SOOO many mussels. Our waiter Andy was truly outstanding. We really aren't picky eaters and we just asked Andy to assemble dishes for us to get a good tasting of the menu while staying in a certain budget and he exceeded it. We had the sweet corn agnolotto and it was truly out of this world. Just truly loved this dish. Creamy, flavorful and so perfect. We had a few Argentinian steaks and the one was Gorgonzola cream was truly incredible. You just get the papas bravas and the mushrooms were just delicious as well. If you are a vegetarian, you will have sooooo many options here that are so satisfying. You can not skip dessert, the gelato was our favorite. The wine selection is incredible. Again -- this spot was just incredible. HUGE shoutout to Andy F , he curated the best dishes and made the night so special.

My first time I had the Turkish Eggs (not pictured) and OMG. That is the only way I want all my egg dishes prepared now. This time we started with Pa amb tomaquet which was a perfect balance of acidic, salty, and crunchy. Even if you're not an anchovies fan I recommend giving this dish a try as the texture is undetectable. My main was entraña steak w/ chimichurri sauce and two over medium eggs. Everything was perfectly prepared (per usual for this place) and I appreciated that the steak was the same price as the dinner menu but with the added value of the eggs. Definitely recommend for a group brunch experience!

Everytime I've tried something here, I get a stomach ache for couple days, especially their old tasting desserts. 1st time stomach I thought it was just a fluke. Third try & 3 stomach aches later from the same place here & you're out of my books lol. Never again, No clue how this place has any business. I'm so glad more places have opened up in NL. Especially the Bellecour restaurant, the desserts there are 1000x better than the days tasting old crap that is served here at SnS. The interior is gorgeous, however, the entire establishment is a 0/10. I would not recommend this place to anyone. What an embarrassment this place is serving bad food to patrons. I recommend spending money at Porzana, Bar La Grassa, Bellecour... anywhere but here. This place is a joke for food. So embarrassing!

The setting that made the experience always so special, before they move to their residency inside the Guthrie Theater under a new name. I cannot wait to see what they do next. Every dish truly hit it out of the park. From the Three Sisters salad with bison and squash to the fried quail and rich, earthy mushroom soup, each plate showcased Indigenous ingredients and traditions in a way that felt both thoughtful and exciting. This is not your typical dining experience and that's exactly what makes it so satisfying. Even the margarita was a standout: beautifully presented and just as delicious as it looked. I will definitely miss this riverfront location, but I am so excited for their next chapter.

This place totally lived up to the hype, in my opinion!…read more I got the maple pepita latte ($10), sweet potatoes ($18), bison skirt steak tacos ($55), and spoonbread ($15). The latte came garnished with rose petals and was not too sweet. It was a nice way to start my meal. Then came the sweet potatoes, and oh my God, I think they were the best sweet potatoes I've ever had. They were unbelievably, delectably sweet and cooked perfectly. They had an excellent char while being soft on the inside. And the sweetness was complemented nicely by the maple chili crisp, which had just a bit of a kick. The bison skirt steak tacos were also delicious. The bison was so tender and juicy. Full of flavor and cooked superbly. My server wasn't kidding when she said the tacos were big enough to share between a few people. I ate the tacos by myself, and I was beyond stuffed. Alas, I wasn't a big fan of the spoonbread. The flavor wasn't bad, but I didn't care for the texture, which was a little too coarse for me. The dessert was gluten-free, and I could REALLY tell. It was also too spicy for me. The spoonbread was drenched in hot honey. But the sweet potatoes, tacos, and attentive & friendly service more than made up for it. The restaurant isn't cheap (especially for a solo diner), but I've seen worse prices for worse food. And I'm eager to check out their new location the next time I'm in Minneapolis. Note - if you pay with a credit card, it does come with a 3% fee.

Wood + Paddle is located inside of the Royal, it's their hotel restaurant. On my first night in Minneapolis, I'd arrived to the hotel for check-in around dinner time. Not sure where to go and tired from the flight, I headed down to the lobby and walked over. When I asked if I could get a table for 1, she asked me if I would be comfortable with eating at the bar. It was a Sunday night, so I think she wanted to reserve tables for parties of two or more. I was fine with it, but I noticed there were quite a few empty tables. A few days later, I had lunch with a Colleague here. We got seated at a table, and the service was really good. Our waiter was attentive and made sure we kept our lunch within our time requirements so we could get back to the conference without issue. The food was really good. It's a humble-looking spot inside, but it doesn't lack in its food. Most is a self-service situation where you're choosing your table to sit at, grabbing your own water, and bussing your own table if you have the time. Casual spot with some interesting pizza. Boludo seems to be Argentinian-owned and family-run. I ordered the Porteño and asked for extra parmesan because of an Instagram reel I've seen with parmesan covering the crust. Due to a small misunderstanding, they ended up giving me something even better.... A fully parmesan-covered pizza. It was probably the best thing I've eaten that entire trip. Truly a great blend of salt, acid, fat, and heat. The second day I tried the Campo and tried to ask for the same cheese covering but ended up with the style I saw in the reel with the crust covered in cheese. It was still good, but not as good as my first order. They have a pretty solid Caesar salad as well! I would genuinely fly back to try this place again.

The empanadas were the best I've had outside Argentina but they were not hot temperature wise. The pizza looked amazing but I found the sauce too sweet for me. My friends pizza was better because he had so many toppings to mask the sweetness. Missed opportunity on the wine sale!
