Herb, Chad, and Zach took care of all of my needs by doing an oil change, replacing brakes all the way around and resurfacing rotors in under 2 hours with outstanding work. They were very professional and efficient at their job! Herb had the best customer service and answered every question that I had and even spotted frame damage and gave great suggestions on how to fix it. This was literally one of the best experiences I have had with car repair in Texas. I would highly recommend and I will be returning to them from now on. My son took his truck for an oil change today and I would not recommend nor give them the one star I had to check to leave this review. They disconnected the mas sensor and the check engine lights went on. They told him to take it to get checked or bring it back. When he went home the mas sensor was disconnected. For anyone who knows cars those sensors don't just pop off you and to push two tabs on each side to pull it off. After I called them to question what happened they said it must have came off. Like I'm stupid or something. So basically they wanted him to have issues to bring it back to make more money. I can't believe this is how they treat our service men! Next time try that bull on someone who doesn't have a family who works on cars! read more

I would not recommend no one to this company. I had brakes and rotors replaced about a month ago with this horrible company. After I left, my brakes were pulsating. So I've taken my car back to them so they could see what they have done wrong and one of the guys made it seem like I didn't know what I was talking about so I had to return my car to them three times before they actually got what was wrong fixed, as well as mentioned getting management involved. He begged me not to, so I given them a last chance to get it right. Come to find out they put a wharped rotor on my car. He suggested me to come back to do more work to my car. Like Hell I Will Not EVER. So when I left I noticed my car was missing. So I looked under my cover where my motor sit and these assholes broke my purge valve to my solenoid hose. Terrible service! I got there at 9am got my truck on the lift pretty fast took them an hour to give me the results of the inspection... Then after that took them 4 more hours to change just the brake pads and one caliper... I walked in an hour after getting the results and watched the mechanic facetiming while opening the box for the caliper right there iron of the window by my truck I will never go there again... Called the company for a complaint they said they could call the store and give them my name so I can talk to them about it...public embarrassment much? read more

Beware of this place! Paid to have brake lines flushed and fluid replaced. Also, had brake pads replaced and rotors resurfaced based on their diagnosis. One month later, brake pads had to be replaced again because they were worn all of the way down, metal to metal. Then, almost another month later took my car to dealership because brakes were grinding again. Was told that my brake pads needed to be replaced for a 3rd time and that it was due to the fact that my rotors should not have been resurfaced. Apparently, they have a special groove that prevents them from being resurfaced. Also, was shown that the brake lines, in fact, had not been flushed/fluid replaced. Brake fuild was black and filmy. Several months later, everything is operating as it should (once dealership did repairs correctly). read more

They are rip off artists! Be careful on brake services. They looked at my brakes. I already knew I did not need them right away but after checking they didn't tell me if I needed brakes or not, the guy just started quoting prices and overselling their "lifetime" guarantee. He talked my head off about the differences between what they charge and what he thought the dealership would charge. Oversold their "brake line flush" service in which THEY DID NOT DO!! They thought I didn't notice it but I knew what they would have to go thru to actually flush my brakes so I knew it wouldn't be easy but they really tried me...really stood around the car for a few mins with a hand pump pretending like they were going to do it. So then I told the sales guy to skip the brake flush thing so I can go. You cant "drop" your car off to people like this. After I told them to stop on mine, I noticed they did not do the flush service on another ladies car that she dropped off and expected it done correctly. If you are going to do an oil change, then ok. By the other reviews that weren't negative, that seems to be their best service. But I wouldn't trust them for that either! I'd make them show me the old oil filter!! read more

My rating is an actual zero had to select one for it to let me post. Ok i see that some how my review has disappeared so posting it again and will continue to post and tell everyone i can tell until i am refunded my money for the Harker Heights brake check not fixing my car and Mr. Steve Short having employees inform me that he's not there when i'm at a store across the street in a friends car looking at him. Also, Mr. Armando Flores of the Corporate avoiding calls in reference to my money being refunded because my car has not been fixed and this is has been going on for a year now. So here's my issue this is not a story and I have valid proof that Mr. Steve Short is not a person of his word (no integrity and they do not honor the sign on the store that states WE DO IT RIGHT by guaranteeing me they could fix my car and it has not been fixed in a year now. Will not allow them to touch my car again because I can't afford to put out any more money due to them finding something wrong with my car every time they look at it. Mr. Flores please stop avoiding my calls and help resolve this situation. Today is feb 2014 still having the same problems have taken my vehicle there 6 times now with no results of my brakes being fixed. also, every time i took my car there they found something new for me to pay for. I have been told from spraying tire shine causes them to squeal so I stopped that to the calipers where all broken up which there was nothing wrong with the calipers all the previous times they checked. asked for a refund was told by Mr. Short refund couldn't be given corporate would have to give. i did not give corporate my money when i went there so why do have i to wait for corporate to refund it. Mr. Short also informed me that the corporate would be calling me haven't heard from corporate yet. (will contact corporate myself and inform them of Mr. Shorts guarantee that he could not fulfill). My cash money was given at that store. I have all my receipts for all the times I visited there except for 2 when they just took my car in without putting info in the computer. i do not feel comfortable with them working on my car anymore cuz it just reminds me of 20/20 episodes where they show these kind of places getting over on the customers and how do i know they will not do something or have already done something intentionally to my car. as of now i am out of $804.00 due to their inability to fix my car and then guaranteed me that they could fix it. I gave them a one star. If I can give them the "one finger", I would. Here we go. Was also referred there by Discount Tire for an alignment. Break Check (Because that's what they did). They said that I needed some u-joints/ball joints. Upon completion, my vehicle would jerk when I turned to the left and the right. Went back in and they told me that the parts were from the manufacture and they were suppose to get recalled eventually. So there was nothing they can do. Called Chevrolet and asked if there was any truth to what they said and Chevy said they have no clue what they were talking about. Actually had taken my vehicle to Firestone in Harker Heights and Chevrolet in Waco and got the run around, also (I'm about to get them, too). Went to Hank's Tire Pros & Muffler in Copperas Cove and they told me that the Center Link was put in backwards. Vehicle runs great now. Hank's Tire Pros & Muffler may be out of the way if you don't live in CC but they are the Go-To-Guys. Break Check is a joke. read more

Terrible!!! Brought our Land Rover here to get the brakes checked and were told the front pad sensor needed to be replaced. What should have taken less than an hour ended up over 3 only to find out several days later from Land Rover of Austin that not only was the part installed incorrectly causing it to break and fail once again, but it was the wrong replacement part all together. After having Land Rover fix the problem correctly, went back to Brake Check to get our money back for the job, a mere $85, only to be told by the "corporate director" of all people that without the broken part in his hand there was nothing he could do and how do they know that we didn't break it again or that Land Rover was even telling the truth. Didn't even apologize for the problem in the least nor took any responsibility...what a joke! The guy tried to offer up a pointless "store credit" as we were leaving as though we would EVER return again for future services after all of this. Apparently it wasn't worth $85 and an apology to prevent bad reviews and word of mouth to others regarding future business here. Had we done our due diligence and looked into the place before going there initially, we would have realized that they have an "F" rating overall through the BBB and absolutely would have taken our business elsewhere. I serve my country with pride and expect people to take the same pride in what they do, especially those in positions of "power" within a company. It starts at the top. Buyer be warned! read more
