I came to Brambly Park for a girl's night and it was the perfect location for such a great outing! Luckily, we had reservations because they were BUSY. The weather was slightly chilly but they had heaters and the fire pits going so it was rather perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helped guide us through the menu. We started with the parmesan truffle fries which were HEAVENLY and the antipasti board which was the perfect shareable. Brambly Park is so spacious with an indoor/outdoor area and a covered patio! OH man, LOVE this place! We had our annual girls X-Mas gathering and chose Brambly to host. We booked the yurt, which was perfect because it chose to rain that day and was a bit chilly. The yurt was so cozy, warm, and perfect setting to catch up with friends from out of town. They have a mini fi replace and speaker, so you can play whatever music you want. Our server was adorable and VERY friendly. All of us chicks were ordering different drinks/food and she did not miss a beat. The group was having so much fun, the General Manager allowed us to stay in the yurt until the next reservation (we were so appreciative)! I look forward to seeing more Brambly locations pop up in the Richmond area, hopefully with the same style managers and staff. Its also rare to find restaurants that make all their pasta in-house, must say, the pasta tastes exceptional. Oooo - I think this is important to mention as well - Brambly has been very popular amongst my group of piers/collogues/family in regards to how the owners/staff has handled Covid. The business has plenty of room to space out and the staff seems to take the dilemma pretty seriously. Having a social place like this to retreat too and feel safe has been monumental! I have been back a few times and really enjoy the food. The margarita pizza especially is delicious, and their Virginia Chardonnay was really good. I've only ever sat inside, and they have tended to seat me in the middle of the restaurant, which creates a sort of exposed and busy energy, but I think it would be really nice to sit in their outside area, which seems more intimate and lively. I also did not love the tiramisu I had, and the cocktails are OK but nothing to write home about. Stick to the specialty wine and the pizza and you'll be set. read more

This is my second time visiting Brambly Park, both times were on the outdoor patio. While my first visit wasn't bad, the service left a lot to be desired. Fast forward to my second visit, and not much had changed. While the salad I had ordered was good, I was surprised that it had been served with cold chicken which most may not mind but I was not a fan. My partner ordered French toast that was not the best, they'd attempted to eat it but could get past the though crust and oversized nuts stuck in the bread. We ordered the margherita pizza as a replacement and it was brought to us with next to no cheese. Too frustrated to return the food for a second time, we just left the situation alone. Brambly Park has one of the best happy hours in Scott's - $5 off pizzas and something like $5 drinks (but don't hold me to the drink price). The vibes for both inside and in their outdoor seating are great; the inside is very cozy and the outside is quite lively on weekend nights. I've always had great service as well. The pizzas are the best part of eating at Brambly for me, and my favorites are the Tartufo and Ricotta & Black Pepper, though they're honestly all pretty great. The antipasti board was also very good, I love the different dried fruits, pickles, and jam included and the focaccia was amazing. The wines are pretty good as well but I'm no wine expert. Where Brambly Park's menu falls flat though is in their entrees - I've had a couple different entrees here and they have always been quite mediocre. However when I'm looking for a great pizza, appetizer, or happy hour, in a fun environment, Brambly is the spot. read more

Basically if you're going to brambly park you're going for the ambience and the setting. Their beer and wine is good and their drinks are creative and good looking. The food on the other hand- leaves a lot to be desired. I have been here so many times in social settings and basically the only thing that I can say that is good are the salads. The pizzas usually are mediocre and usually burnt on the edges. The duck fat brussels sprouts are absolutely terrible. The broccolini tonight - flavorless and boring. The tiramisu- well I can probably say that I get a better box tiramisu out of Whole Foods. Basically I would say if you're going there I hope there is a band and you are not really a foodie. I'm not bothering with pics- sorry. Not to mention- since the opening I have asked why there is no handicap parking on the side by the outside stage area. Still no handicap parking there. read more

Fun spot in Scott's Addition! We got a reservation for the restaurant which was good because it was packed on a Friday night. While they do have a parking lot on a busy night it was totally full and cars lined the streets, so it could take a minute to find a spot. The service was welcoming, efficient, and helpful. Food tasted amazing! We got the baked feta appetizer, the four cheese pizza, and the pear pizza. All delicious, our only complaint was we wanted more options on the menu and it was fairly limited. I've come to Brambly twice now and just realized I've yet to review them. Opening a new place is difficult enough without being in the middle of a pandemic, but they've done a good job so far I thought. There is PLENTY of seating - whether it be at the tables, patio or on the lawn. The live music is great on a summer night. My only gripe - is be prepared to spend MONEY. You order on your phone, and each order has Richmond city tax, PPE charge, some other tax I believe and THEN you can tip. From the menu, we thought the offerings would overdone, too elaborate. They fired me on day 2 of working there, my first day was mother's day with 3 days of training that were only 4 hours. They also don't explain things to you if you have never worked in a winery before so that sucks. They execpt you to stretch yourself very thin while under high volume as well as change the layouts of sections then get mad when you don't know the table number. they locked me out of the app and avoided my text messages/ emails before finding out i was fired 5 days later. which in the state of virginia that is illegal. read more

Staff needs better training. It's generally not good to ask about dessert when one of the two of us hasn't finished eating yet. Also, my wife tried to change the dressing on her salad while still ordering her meal and it was "too late." Apparently he hit 'send' on the salad, and there was no way to change it. The bottom line: It's a really nice place to go for drinks and sitting outside. But I'd rate the food as just okay. I left here a few months ago tipsy and happy! It's a great little spot! My boyfriend and I went on a very hot day and we were guided outside to a partially shaded table. We were told waters were on their way and to order from our phone and food and drinks would be brought out accordingly. This was addicting and I think we spent 100 dollars during our visit. It isn't cheap! There's a section outside, inside, and in the woods. A great spot if you're trying to social distance. We ordered a salad, fries, and arancini.
