The SETTING--This place was a delight! They offer a heated and covered patio as well as indoor dining during Covid. Even though it was a cold and rainy day, I felt really comfortable outside. The tables were spaced quite far apart which gave me peace of mind. Dogs are welcome. The FOOD-- got the charcuterie, kale salad, egg and cheese biscuit, waffle fries, and a few other salads. All were quite delectable! Andrew and mike were great servers. The DRINKS-- they have a wide variety of wines, beers and seasonal cocktails. They also offered hot drinks like mulled wine (and spiced apple cider for non drinkers). All and all I'll be coming back!! read more

I struggled with the rating on this, here's the thing... we really needed a venue like this in Richmond. The location, the space, everything about the atmosphere is fantastic. Here's where it goes downhill... we made a reservation for a spot on the covered patio. When we arrived they started taking us to a picnic table and I reminded them we specifically requested the patio. They said the patio was full, so we asked if we could move once a table opened up. We received major attitude at this point, which I was confused about given we made a reservation... on the patio... and arrived on time?! We take our seat at the picnic table and go ahead and order a drink. Having just left Brenner pass, I was shocked to see the prices/value comparison. They are charging Brenner Pass prices for a fraction of the product value. I wasn't impressed by the wine or cocktails and on top of that, you are charged a PPE fee + tip on every order?! This is crazy... how can I tip when I haven't even received the service? While we waited for our beverages, I went to use the restroom where I passed 3 open tables on the patio?! I really didn't want to anger the hostess further at this point so I didn't bother saying anything. FWIW, she NEVER came to let us know our table was ready. I am bummed, I really like this place, but it's just way too pricey for what it is. Next time I'd probably opt for Star Hill's rooftop, or just stay at Brenner Pass on the patio, both are lovely! read more

Check in for last nights After Dark Full Moon Fever show at 9 pm was a joke. The least efficient system I think I've ever experienced. Get an app with virtual tickets to expedite the process. Having to check names on a printed invite list is so 1980's. Get with the times Brambly Park. read more

Good service and good food. We've never really had a bad time here. However, all five of us were excited about their cinnamon bun appetizers for brunch. Unfortunately they were not good. Either they were extremely underbaked or the baker doesn't know what cinnamon buns should taste like. Long story short - this is solid place - just don't order the cinnamons buns. read more

The brambleberry jam on the sausage and gravy pizza was the best combination I have ever tried on eggs or even a pizza! We loved the outdoor area afterwards to sit and relax, have a drink and not feel rushed to leave. There are few places where you can leisurely hang and not feel like you're holding up a table. My husband and I spent date night here when the live band played. We reserved a picnic table the day before so seating wasn't an issue. The place was definitely packed, but our wait for food and drinks wasn't bad at all. We order the prosciutto and pear pizza and it was DIVINE! Our family of four went here with a couple who is our best friends in mid 2022. In order to guarantee a place for us to sit, we had to reserve a spot through their website with an arrival time. Once we arrived and we're seated, we were told that we had to order everything through a QR code on our phone. My wife and I tried a bottle of cider from Spain but it was not tasty to us and did not taste like ciders made in the USA. Both my wife and I tried a glass of wine but it was nothing to write home about. That being said, we are not very big on wine. We had an order of French Fries and they were waffle fries and I thought they tasted better than Chick-Fil-A waffle fries. Everyone enjoyed the fries so much that we ordered them a second time. The seating was nice and was very relaxing. We had a good time and they had games for sale. We enjoy playing games but we didn't want to buy them and forgot/didn't think to bring our own. If we enjoyed wine or beer more, then this would be a nice spot for us to go. Hopefully they add more state side cider options in the future. read more

The BEST Richmond Covid activity - the outdoor space is amazing, provides both shade and Sunshine, grass and gravel/mulch surfaces with so much spread out seating. Great for families too! I really loved the cider, and will love to try more! I do think the it's a little pricey but it's worth it! Not everything you want from a new Richmond business. Although they do have the Q code ordering which seems standard now a day. They ask that you tip before you even get actual service. Atmosphere overall was okay. Although something will hopefully be done to separate and open up the space more. Service seemed slow and lackluster. This was disappointing for a Richmond experience. Also as an FYI you will be charged for PPE. Cost that most certainly should be covered by the company and not put on the customer since we are required to bring our own masks. My fiancé took me here as a surprise on a perfect summer Saturday in June. He tried so hard to find a place that was safe and where I would feel comfortable due to COVID. Brambly is amazing. They have a huge outdoor space with a covered patio and a courtyard with umbrella-covered tables, all of which are far more than six feet apart. There's also a large grassy hill where you can sit and sip and eat. A small stage offers live entertainment. Every staff person was wearing a mask and they seem to take all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of their guests. Ordering can be done via your phone or you can walk up to an outside table to order. it's a winery, so you can buy their wine by the bottle or glass. they have other single-serving drink options from local places like Belle Isle. We didn't really order food, but the menu looks nice. Every staff person we encountered was super friendly. Can't wait to go back. Prices are extremely reasonable. Make a reservation! read more

We came to celebrate my sons engagement with his fiancé parents and brothers ( party of 10) We arrived early to order appetizers and champagne. Our greeter was kind and accommodating, that's when the love - fest ended . Our waitress Emily was kind at first but then our requests (minor) became a bother and a chore. The food -- ok -- my husband ordered over easy eggs medium and they came so runny. He explained that they were too runny to eat ( afraid of being sick) and they came back awhile longer hard as a rock. No accommodations on bill for a meal not eaten . We had been there before loved our service and food , that is why we chose this place for a special event. This time it sold us short which was sad for our happy occasion . Came at 6:30pm on a Sunday, sat at an empty hostess stand for 5 minutes before someone friendly came up to us and stated "I'm looking for the hostess give me one moment". Then waited another 5 minutes before a very rude hostess holding a full trash bag comes up and tells they are no longer seating guests as the kitchen closes at 7...but it was 6:30... Sad to see what happened to this place as it use to be a great spot with friendly employees. Absolutely a great time opening weekend at Brambly Park. Tucked away in Scott's Addition this winery features some great wines and eats while enjoying a cute outdoor vibe. Personal favorite is the contactless ordering,just scan the QR code on the table, menu pops up, select items, enter table number, pay and tip...then Boom, items arrive. Not our families first time here. We have always been impressed in the past but last night was different. The salad were undressed, some dry. Bagged croutons are never a good idea and with all that pizza dough it would be easy to make fresh and really knock a salad out of the park. All of the pasta dishes were bland? Pizzas were blonde in color. Drinks were strong and tiramisu was truly the best we have had. I'm really confused about the mains, don't think we will be back unfortunately. Tonight we asked about vegan options and they were very accommodating. The wood fired pizza was amazing. Mushroom risotto and another pasta dish customized just for us!
