I bought a washer and dryer from brandsmart usa. Took them over 2 months to deliver it to my house, and they had to make 4 attempts, because their delivery crew doesn't bother to knock, and if you don't pick up the phone immediately when they call, they move on to the next delivery. So if you are in the middle of taking a piss and you can't get to the phone you're out of luck, and the delivery will need to be rescheduled. Why is their customer service so poor? Well I found out that even though the delivery crew drive a brandsmart truck, wears a brandsmart uniform, and give me a brand smart receipt for the delivery, they are not brandsmart employees. They are independent contractors. This is just another way that companies screw workers. They've taken something that should be a core part of their business, delivery and installation, which they are more than happy to point out is a service they provide as you can clearly hear in their call hold music, and turn it to a 3rd party contractor. This is clearly done to save money so that brandsmart doesn't have to pay decent wages and benefits for what should be an employee of the company. When you are a company employee and you are the face of the company when interacting with the client, aka me, you do a good job. When you are an independent contractor being paid by the number of deliveries you do in a day, and you don't have good wages and benefits, you don't care about your client's client. That's why it took them 4 attempts and 2 months to make a delivery. Don't shop with a company that uses 3rd party contractors to do something that should be a core part of their business. I'm the client for Brandsmart, I'm buying their product, but the company that installed my washer and dryer is not brandsmart, even thought they are camouflaged to make it look like they are. Everyone knows Brandsmart has the best prices on electronics, appliances, fixtures and well bsstcslly anything that can fit inside your home. I like the vicinity of it even though I'm used to driving to the other one most of the time and the deals are honestly unbeatable. I'm a person that requires warranty and with the nominal charge they offer for worry-free warranty really eases the the whole large purchase ordeal. Returns are easy so if you're unsure of something, just keep the receipt and return the unused item at the warehouse. Delivery is available on big purchases and you can coordinate the timeframe available with your sales associate. Keep an eye out for close out deals because most of the time, it's certainly worth it. Anything you need for your home can be sourced here for a heck of a price, you simply can't beat it. read more

Im writing a review for Brandsmart USA. First, of all I did the worst mistake of buying all my equipments for my kitchen from them. I bought a package deal fridge,micro,stove,dishwasher etc. I bought suppose to be the latest model Samsung all stainless blue steel. I bought about 2 years ago.First day on installing the fridge, the fridge started to make a weird noice and it wasnt cooling. I called and they came to inspected to see if they can fix it . I told him this is new I want a new one sent to me.They send me a new fridge 3rd week. First month after my big purchased I noticed the stove peeling off. I immediately called Brandsmart and they said the were going to send me an inspector. Inspector came after 2 weeks and order the facia of the bottom drawer. Inspector said it was defective. I asked if this is common he told me no. I was afraid for all other products to start peeling off. Well indeed I should have gone with my gut feeling. I should have change them all right there on the spot, but you live and learn In tge beginning of 2019 my products started to peel off. I called managers, Samsung manager and noone want to take responsibility. Im thinking to call channel 7 for help because this is not correct. Anyone of you had the same isuues. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Please do yourself a favor and don't buy from Brandsmart. Go somewhere else and save yourself a huge headache. If I could give Brandsmart negative stars, I would. We bought an entire kitchen suite (fridge, stovetop, dishwasher, and microwave/oven combo) the first week of August. We spent over $10,000. The fridge arrived damaged so we had to send it back and wait for another. The microwave/oven combo has arrived damaged THREE TIMES. It's November and we are still without a microwave or oven. The first one had a shattered glass door. The next two had huge black scratches on the front door. The appliance is white so it's very visible. Each time this appliance arrives damaged, Brandsmart offers us $100 off to keep it. This is a $3,500 appliance! Completely ridiculous! Mind you, we have been paying for this appliance since August and we still don't even have it. Plus, each time they are going to drop off a new microwave/oven in the middle of the day, one of us has to leave work to wait for it during a three hour window. This has now happened three times. Also, customer service is terrible! When we asked the delivery guys for a number to call and complain, they gave us a number that doesn't even exist. When we call the corporate number on the Brandsmart website, they just re-direct us to the store where you speak to the sales person. As a side note, our salesperson, Violeta, was great and has been very responsive each step of the way. However, apparently their only solution is to just send a new appliance (which ends up being damaged again). At this point, we are again left waiting weeks for another appliance which may or may not be damaged. I'm concerned we won't even have an oven for Thanksgiving. Needless to say, Brandsmart is completely INCOMPETENT. I wish we would have purchased from Best Buy. read more

I was first excited when I got the job here, but when I realized I was put on a job probation period for 90 days, for no stupid reason at the start of the job and unceremoniously & wrongfully terminated after my probation period ended just because I was late and I gave my incompetent P.O.S. of a manager a valid reason why I was late, like, I was stuck in traffic for example. And I am a very hard worker & I know that I have been doing my job the right way because I have been evaluating myself from my perspective. For future reference, as a prospective employee, don't work here because their probation period is what sucks and what also sucks is that they don't have a tardiness forgiveness policy they are extremely strict on what time you have to be there at even if you give them good reasons for an excuse why you were late. What also sucks is the pay rate they have you start at. I was earning $10 an hour and had living expenses to pay up for and I came up short to pay for my expenses. It sucks that they would have you start at minimum wage when I already have enough job experience under my resume. I'd rather apply & continue working at Gamestop, Abercrombie & Fitch, Macy's/Bloomingdales or Best Buy if I had to rather than apply as a stock associate or warehouse associate at BrandsMart USA. They have tardiness forgiveness policies, their managers are very lenient & understandable, and last but not least they are respectable. The Manager that supervised me was an asshole and treated me like I was a number when he told me that I wasn't mean't for a job like this, especially when I worked as a stock associate. And besides Best Buy, Home Furnitures stores(like El Dorado or Ashley's Furniture & HHGregg) sells better products than Brandsmart and at better prices. read more

I understand that a special order item that costs $$$$ might be held up in manufacturing plants do to shut downs, but to be given over 5 different dates of arrival within a span of 3 months and still be waiting for the item is ridiculous. More so disappointed with the promises of updates on a weekly or biweekly basis and I find myself going into the store or calling every week in order to get an update. Here at this Brandsmart, they do not make promises they can keep. Do not go to Francios (unsure of how to spell his name) for anything at all. The drivers who come to deliver the washers and dryers are very rude and condescending tbey drop off the appliance and dont program it or help set it up. Then when you call their customer service department they transfer you to 10-15 different departments and still you get nowhere I had to physically drive to the store twice in a week two exchange two washers that were not programmed nor in working condition. The first one a technician came to the house and blamed the plumbing so I called a plumber and it cost me 200 dollars and it was not the plumbing! Horrible horrible horrible service! read more

**Update** According to their customer relations department, this is the norm to look up a Fortiva account holder's information in their system. No explanation was provided on why this only happened recently and not for any previous store purchase. Any associate with this private information can commit fraud. Think about it, an associate can take a screenshot of your DL and with the last 4 digits of your SS #, they can apply for a new credit card somewhere else and commit fraud. Keep that in mind when you decide to use your Fortiva store credit card. I definitely do not agree with their slogan, " Customer service is our #1 priority". Great customer service from Fred Jones. He helped us pick out a Samsung 75in. and great price. An EXCELLENT install was done by Edgar Garcia and Carlos Saavedra! These men came and were able to install the tv with a new wall mount and even move my sound system. The wires were all hidden making the tv look super sleek on the wall. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves leaving no dust and residue. read more

I signed up on Yelp just to write this review. Do not purchase anything over $20. Take the item and price match it anywhere else. The customer service center here is not helpful. Corporate isn't helpful. All inquiries return here to corporate is disregarded and sent back to this store. I purchased a treadmill from Brandsmart in Sept 2020 and less than a week later I asked to return it. Prior to purchasing I asked about the return policy to which I was informed it was 30 days. This was the reason I decided to purchase it. I brought the machine home and my significant other did not want it because of our young children. I understood, I went to take the item back. Upon doing so, the manager informed me that it was a 0 day return. So I complained that I had asked about this prior to purchase and the associate informed me it was 30 days. After arguing, he took it back while I had to pay a 20% restocking fee because he can not train his employees correctly. I called the corporate office because I had a dispute with this return and after the run around they gave me transferring me to and from sales and returns with from corporate and this location they transferred back to the manager that handled this purchase. I kindly informed him that I understood his position, but I disagree with charging me the 20%. Can you guys guess who there is left to dispute this return with? No one. I went to Brandsmart June, 2021 to purchase a dishwasher. I noticed my receipt had an FPL in home survey but there was no charge. Later that week I received an e-mail saying that SurgeShield (an affiliate of FPL) was going to install surge protectors on my meter. I called to inquire and they said that "I requested " this at Brandsmart. I will never buy ANYTHING at a Brandsmart again. We purchased an 82" tv with warranty. The sales man guaranteed the warranty covered any damages from transportation all the way through installation at home. We were sold on the warranty (considering what the sales man promised us it covered) and here we are fighting to get the tv exchanged because the warranty DOES NOT cover what he guaranteed it would. Clearly, the sales man was only thinking of how big his commission check would be. End result: after the store manager clarified to us what the warranty covered, the only option we were left with was to purchase another tv at a discounted price all because the warranty that we paid for did not cover the damage on the tv. If we would of had a clear and honest understanding to what the warranty covered BEFORE finalizing our purchase, we would of opted to purchase the delivery and installation where they would of been held liable for any damages and we wouldn't be out $3,000 with a tv that is damaged. Upon leaving, we saw a customer purchasing the same tv. We warned them of the lack of coverage on the warranty and how we were mislead and it was to no surprise that they were mislead themselves over the warranty and they quickly went to speak with their sales man to clarify the coverage because they too were guaranteed the same we were. This is NOT confirmation that I will be having the merchandise delivered to my home. Again, unacceptable and if Brandsmart corporate continues to research my situation they will realize that TWICE this piece of merchandise was scheduled for delivery and TWICE it was canceled by the local Brandsmart due to a "scheduling mistake" by the the delivery department. While from the outside this looks nicer than the average BrandsMart, inside it's still the same warehouse-like mishmash of electronics, as crowded with humanity as a train station in Mumbai. And these people are all in that crazed-consumer state that I loathe; it's this scarcity mentality, like "if I don't get that flat screen TV on sale NOW, everyone else will." There are a lot of employees roaming the floor here, so I get the sense that if I actually needed help, it'd be pretty easy to come by. However, when I go shopping for electronics, I usually have done a little bit of research and have a very pointed idea of what I'm looking for. I want to walk straight to the item I'm looking for, pick it up, carry it to the register and be out in 5 minutes. Unfortunately, BrandsMart never seems to have exactly what I'm looking for, and this location was no exception. Stores like this have a lot of different kinds of merchandise, but aren't really that great in any one particular area. Plus, they are unnerving and generally unpleasant to shop at. This store makes Best Buy seem like a tranquil Buddhist temple by comparison. read more

So I was out this weekend with the wifey and some friends looking to buy a new GPS unit, TV, sound system, and other necessary equipment for our new place. After checking out The Container Store, we went to this Brandsmart before heading to Best Buy. First up, we went to check out the GPS units, where to my dismay, the selection was poor compared to Best Buy. I compare to Best Buy by the way because the size of this place reminds me of Best Buy. Anyway, there were 2 gentlemen (young fellas), who were Brandsmart employees/sales associates, loitering in the gps section. By section, I mean physically in front of the GPS units, hanging out, staring at something in some other aisle. After a few minutes having passed by of looking at the GPS units, neither bothered to ask if we needed help. No problem, they weren't given an instruction on customer service 101. There were 2 copies of the same price label placed in front of 2 different GPS models. I asked one of the employees for clarification, he looked at the labels, and all he could say was "yes they're different, probably a mistake." I asked him if he could help in clarifying what was what and he replied "oh um well I don't know about the GPS units, let me find the guy who knows about it." I thought to myself, "well, WTF were you standing around doing nothing in an area you know nothing about?" So he said he would go find the GPS guy. I followed shortly after him, not letting him out of my sight, and what does he do? He posts up a few aisles away from the GPS area and proceeds to lean against an exhibit, looking around like he did before. Unbelievable. So I just couldn't let this guy go- I walk up to him asking him who his manager was, and he replied "there are no managers here." That's when I got visibly pissed and started to articulate what a miserable cunt he was (using of course more euphemistic terms) and a fellow twat (employee) said he was a manager and said he would "take care of it," referring to the situation of the useless employee. Anyway, at this point there was NO WAY I was going to sink over $3,000 cash on primo electronics at this establishment. God-forbid were I to need customer support in the future and had to deal with more of this absurdity. It's really, really unlikely I'll go back to this store for anything. I've come to this BrandsMart USA location a few times, both when in the area and decided to stop in and browse, and also when I was in the market for a computer or small appliances. As I've mentioned in my review of another BrandsMart USA store, in general, while their stores can feel more like warehouses with tacky signage that looks like it could've been created by a grade school art class, their salesmen either all swarm you or are non-existent (no happy medium), it can feel more like a flea market than a store given the clientele and the way they scurry about making their purchases, their salesmen generally aren't terribly knowledgeable and it can be tough to comparison shop in the store itself because their labels and signage sometimes lack a lot of details (their website is better at giving more detailed info.), at the end of the day, provided you've done your homework, it's generally difficult to beat the prices you'll find at BrandSmart, especially on electronics. I've purchased things like TVs and laptops at BrandsMart in the past, and have comparison shopped at Best Buy, Tiger Direct, Wal-Mart, Target, Amazon, etc. and I generally ALWAYS find the best deals and lowest prices at BrandsMart. I've even bought things like range hoods here for above my kitchen cook top, as their prices were so attractive! To me, dealing with the other minor annoyances I mentioned above is worth it, because, at the end of the day you'll save $$, and you'll get the same exact product regardless of whether you bought it at BrandSmart, or spent a bunch more $$ buying it at Best Buy or another retail store. It should be noted that this store is not as large as the one off the 826 a few exits from the Golden Glades Interchange, which also means they may not have the same variety of products, and definitely means they don't carry the same amount of stock. read more

I'm never buying anything at BrandsMart ever again. I used to shop here A LOT but stopped with the rise of other retailers like Best Buy, Tigerdirect and online retailers. I recently bought something at the Brandsmart location at 4320 NW 167 St Miami, FL 33054, and went back to return it to this location at 7260 North Kendall Drive Miami, FL 33156, after keeping it for a couple of weeks and decided wasn't very good. When I went back I learned that their return policies are basically non existent. VERY FEW ITEMS have a 30 return period, others have 7-14 day return period and tons of items have a ZERO DAY return period buried in the receipt. The sooner they go out of business the better. I bought my appliances in the Dadeland store and had the worst experience with the employee that assisted me (LUSTINE FRANCOISE ) I was promise that the delivery would be done on for the date I requested and if I had any problems or questions regarding my purchased I could speak with Mrs. ARACELY MONTES at the store. To my surprise not only did I receive an incomplete order and when I went to the store I was unable to find my original sales person. The only person available at that moment to assist me was Mrs. Aracely Montes and it was my misfortune to be assisted by her. Not only she had no knowledge of anything but showed a lack of total training and lack of empathy of my frustration. The merchandise was discontinued out stock and nobody was there to give me an explanation or a resolution. Seriously, it's not worth the savings. Pay the few extra dollars somewhere else. The time and headache you will save by choosing someone else will be worth it. We bought a fridge. "Brandsmart" delivered it, the installer did not do his job properly and we ended up having a leak and water damage. Now Brandsmart says it's not their problem. It's the delivery companies problem--oh yea they contract that out. And the delivery companies says it's the installers fault. So we're "supposed to go through the installers insurance" but apparently his insurance doesn't cover this...I mean what the?!?!? They take NO responsibility for any damage done. Not to mention just getting to this point has been comprised of HOURS of phone calls and being shuffled around. I finally got a manager to contact me by using Social media, but even then he keeps passing me along claiming Brandsmart isn't responsible. Now we will have to go through our homeowners insurance because they are all refusing to take care of the water damage (and now mold bc it's been unable to be treated for over a week). We were hoping to buy two mattresses, one box spring, one metal bed frame, one cooktop, one dryer, one dishwasher. We went to the mattress section first. The salesman greeted us, but when it became clear that we wanted to pay less than $500 per mattress and were asking about the less pricey mattresses, his attitude became openly snobbish... I mean OPENLY snobbish and rude, was no longer interested in assisting us and walked off while we were still talking to him. We were verbally quoted over $800 on a simple metal bed frame... Next upstairs to the appliance department. Here the salesman was helpful and nice. We selected a dishwasher and dryer. As we walked toward the computer to log in the order with him, he begins pulling things we're "going to need." Metal duct and pigtail for the dryer, hoses for the dishwasher, etc to the tune of a bunch of extra money. Next we address delivery and installation. They don't install dishwashers, that's an extra $120 from a third party company. Delivery has a base charge plus an extra per item charge. The only way to get free delivery is if one of your items is individually worth over $500... it doesn't matter if they add up to a large amount. I had discussed with the sales guy, Jaime, I would need to stack my washer and dryer he said he would need to put in the order to change the dryer door to open to the left like the washer and include installation. when I received it... the first time.... they hadn't changed the door orientation. no big deal right? the delivery guy was making calls feverishly then came back and said he would change it for me but he had noticed a small perforation in the plastic and a dent on the back of the washer and that if he opened it and the dryer didn't work his company would charge him 10% restocking fee. It was cosmetic but whatever he had convinced me it would be best to return it without testing it. He left the washer and took my existing washer/dryer combo. A few days later I get a call to redeliver the dryer between 8-12. I took a half day off of work and waited but at noon without hearing from them I left for work. My contractor was working in the apartment so he could surely handle making sure the door orientation was correct? He sure did, but It never occurred to me the guy wouldn't install them!! This started a chain of transfers from customer service waiting 30 minutes, go get 'installation was not part of the delivery'. So they said I'd need to speak with the Dadeland Brandsmart, I get a random person and tell him my story and his response was I needed to talk to Jaime..to being put on hold for Jaime... because the only one who'd be able to fix it would be the sales guy... cut to 20 minutes later. when I finally speak to him, he tells me 'let me see what I can do, I'll call you back in 15 minutes.' Did you get a call back?? 'cause I haven't! My contractors saved the day, and installed the washer and dryer. And no, it wasn't free. Brandsmart USA Customer Service M.O.-Just keep'em on hold and wear them down until they give up. It worked with me.. but trust in one thing. I'll never buy from them again. Worse customer service ever. A delivery was scheduled for Saturday, from 1200 to 300 pm. I called customer service at 0400 pm to find out what was happening with my delivery. They told me it will be two hours late. At 0400 pm. Already one hour late. I am writing this at 0645 pm and the delivery? Who knows? By the way, is a refrigerator and I had emptied it by 1030 am. Expecting delivery between 1200 and 0300 pm. Right now it's 0700 pm. Being late is bad. Not informing the customer of being so late. No excuse! read more

Bought a Samsung refrigerator and oven in August 2020 and, six months later in December 2920, Brandsmart says they have no idea when the products will ship. Salesman Elvis Paz told me there are hundreds of Brandsmart customers in the same logjam. Only option he gave me was to refund my money. Called manager Joe Martinez and his assistant only asked if I knew him personally, implying that if you don't he will not talk to you. She took my telephone number and not surprisingly, manager Martinez never called. This company takes orders and money but has no products to deliver. Will purchase from Best Buy and will never go back to Brandsmart. read more
