Seriously, it's not worth the savings. Pay the few extra dollars somewhere else. The time and headache you will save by choosing someone else will be worth it. We bought a fridge. "Brandsmart" delivered it, the installer did not do his job properly and we ended up having a leak and water damage. Now Brandsmart says it's not their problem. It's the delivery companies problem--oh yea they contract that out. And the delivery companies says it's the installers fault. So we're "supposed to go through the installers insurance" but apparently his insurance doesn't cover this...I mean what the?!?!? They take NO responsibility for any damage done. Not to mention just getting to this point has been comprised of HOURS of phone calls and being shuffled around. I finally got a manager to contact me by using Social media, but even then he keeps passing me along claiming Brandsmart isn't responsible. Now we will have to go through our homeowners insurance because they are all refusing to take care of the water damage (and now mold bc it's been unable to be treated for over a week). I bought my appliances in the Dadeland store and had the worst experience with the employee that assisted me (LUSTINE FRANCOISE ) I was promise that the delivery would be done on for the date I requested and if I had any problems or questions regarding my purchased I could speak with Mrs. ARACELY MONTES at the store. To my surprise not only did I receive an incomplete order and when I went to the store I was unable to find my original sales person. The only person available at that moment to assist me was Mrs. Aracely Montes and it was my misfortune to be assisted by her. Not only she had no knowledge of anything but showed a lack of total training and lack of empathy of my frustration. The merchandise was discontinued out stock and nobody was there to give me an explanation or a resolution. We were hoping to buy two mattresses, one box spring, one metal bed frame, one cooktop, one dryer, one dishwasher. We went to the mattress section first. The salesman greeted us, but when it became clear that we wanted to pay less than $500 per mattress and were asking about the less pricey mattresses, his attitude became openly snobbish... I mean OPENLY snobbish and rude, was no longer interested in assisting us and walked off while we were still talking to him. We were verbally quoted over $800 on a simple metal bed frame... Next upstairs to the appliance department. Here the salesman was helpful and nice. We selected a dishwasher and dryer. As we walked toward the computer to log in the order with him, he begins pulling things we're "going to need." Metal duct and pigtail for the dryer, hoses for the dishwasher, etc to the tune of a bunch of extra money. Next we address delivery and installation. They don't install dishwashers, that's an extra $120 from a third party company. Delivery has a base charge plus an extra per item charge. The only way to get free delivery is if one of your items is individually worth over $500... it doesn't matter if they add up to a large amount. I had discussed with the sales guy, Jaime, I would need to stack my washer and dryer he said he would need to put in the order to change the dryer door to open to the left like the washer and include installation. when I received it... the first time.... they hadn't changed the door orientation. no big deal right? the delivery guy was making calls feverishly then came back and said he would change it for me but he had noticed a small perforation in the plastic and a dent on the back of the washer and that if he opened it and the dryer didn't work his company would charge him 10% restocking fee. It was cosmetic but whatever he had convinced me it would be best to return it without testing it. He left the washer and took my existing washer/dryer combo. A few days later I get a call to redeliver the dryer between 8-12. I took a half day off of work and waited but at noon without hearing from them I left for work. My contractor was working in the apartment so he could surely handle making sure the door orientation was correct? He sure did, but It never occurred to me the guy wouldn't install them!! This started a chain of transfers from customer service waiting 30 minutes, go get 'installation was not part of the delivery'. So they said I'd need to speak with the Dadeland Brandsmart, I get a random person and tell him my story and his response was I needed to talk to Jaime..to being put on hold for Jaime... because the only one who'd be able to fix it would be the sales guy... cut to 20 minutes later. when I finally speak to him, he tells me 'let me see what I can do, I'll call you back in 15 minutes.' Did you get a call back?? 'cause I haven't! My contractors saved the day, and installed the washer and dryer. And no, it wasn't free. Brandsmart USA Customer Service M.O.-Just keep'em on hold and wear them down until they give up. It worked with me.. but trust in one thing. I'll never buy from them again. Worse customer service ever. A delivery was scheduled for Saturday, from 1200 to 300 pm. I called customer service at 0400 pm to find out what was happening with my delivery. They told me it will be two hours late. At 0400 pm. Already one hour late. I am writing this at 0645 pm and the delivery? Who knows? By the way, is a refrigerator and I had emptied it by 1030 am. Bought a Samsung refrigerator and oven in August 2020 and, six months later in December 2920, Brandsmart says they have no idea when the products will ship. Salesman Elvis Paz told me there are hundreds of Brandsmart customers in the same logjam. Only option he gave me was to refund my money. Called manager Joe Martinez and his assistant only asked if I knew him personally, implying that if you don't he will not talk to you. She took my telephone number and not surprisingly, manager Martinez never called. This company takes orders and money but has no products to deliver. If you order a Washer/dryer here, just know the delivery drivers will be too lazy and make any excuse not to bring it inside, claiming it won't fit, without measuring it and then reschedule it several days later. I don't live in Miami anymore, and last time I was at Dadeland this Brandsmart was a Linens N' Things. Well after having lunch at Panera, my mom and I soon discovered that they replaced the Linens N' Things with a pretty nice looking Brandsmart...so we HAD to check it out. The store is probably way smaller compared to their Hialeah and US1 stores, but they made great use of the space and added a second floor with escalators that take you to the top. They have your usual appliances, TVs, Ipods, and game system accessories, plus they have a pretty good array of small kitchen and household appliances (i.e. toasters, air filters, blenders etc.). They also had some home decor items...my mother ended up buying a wall clock. Overall, it was a great find, and since my parents still live in town it is super convenient for them to NOT have to drive to US1 or Hialeah from where they live in the FIU area. read more

I came here to buy a washer and dryer because ours are old and it's just time to get new ones. The plus is the prices. Very competitive with other companies. Brandsmart beats most others. What I did not like was the fact that I could not pay in the appliance department. After you choose your appliances on the second floor you must then go down stairs to apply for credit and cash out. On 1/19 I purchased a washer dryer combo and purchased the additional five year extended warranty. After a year the dryer is not functioning properly so I called for Service.. I was told by the service company; that I have to register my dryer with them and they have to verify with Brandsmart that I purchased the dryer at that location. This process will take two days I'm supposed to call back to the service company after two days and hoping that Brands Mart acknowledges to the service company that I purchased my extended warranty and give the authorization to service my dryer. In the meantime my tenant is without the use of her new dryer. Brandsmart is very quick to sell an extended warranty for their products but it appears that they are extremely negligent to meeting the demands of their customers. I am extremely disappointed with what has transpired and am writing here for all to review to think twice about falling for these supposed extended Protection plans which BrandsMart fails to inform their customers the proper use and how you have to jump through hops to get for a service that you spend your hard earn money on. 5/16/18 Update: After all the drama trying to get the refrigerator delivered, it shows up with a large dent in the door. Item had to be refused. They are now telling me that earliest they can deliver a new one is Friday (that makes it now 8+ days from the time of purchasing in store). While chatting with the delivery person, they indicated that this was very common. They stated that the warehouse staff are known to be very rough and not careful with the items. 5/18/18 Update: Via yelp, I was contacted by a member of the customer service team. My original review was meet with the bulk email address and canned and standardized comment plastered to any negative review. After posting my update on 5/16/18 was provided with information to reach a specific member within the customer service department. I reached out to see what this person would be able to do. They were very polite and seemed to care for my situation, but long story short - they yield little power in resolving or making a situation like ours right. Delivery scheduling does not seem to be something they can fix, modify, or correct with any agility. The idea of getting anything rushed or expedited by the next day is impossible. Schedules are set for the next day a good amount of time in advance. I was provided a small return/reimbursement, a little over $100. Keep in mind this is on a $3300+ refrigerator (being sold at the same price as Lowes, Home depot, and many other big box stores - no "brandsmart" discount here). 3% off - huge thanks! I noticed a year later and payed FPL about $150 for a service I never asked for. This is so wrong at so many levels!!!! FPL is not returning the money as I should've checked my monthly bill. We have purchased a washer dryer at the store in Kendall set to be delivered today, set to be delivered today. while everyone there ignored me, a sales person called Maria Ruckwardt was extremely helpful. The problems started after purchasing and with delivery and customer service. The driver show up today, wanting to deliver from the front of the store "because it is closer". We informed him that deliveries happen from the back. At this point he was already irritated by us. He then went to the room where we are installing the washer and dryer and instead of explaining to us that our water supply does not match the hose and he has no adapter he waved the hose and kept asking me "where do you want me to put that?" ... am I supposed to know? am I supposed to accept his sarcasm? after a few minutes of being treated with no respect and lot's of bad attitude he left and told me " I need to get a plumber". At this point I expected he will bring in the washer dryer I ordered, leave it to me to install. He actually left without even delivering, I then called customer service, who was not trained to say any "please, thank you, can you please hold, sorry for the bad experience you are having" or anything a good call center usually learns to say. Their rude supervisor then insisted that the driver left my area and WILL NOT DELIVER UNTIL THURSDAY. I then proceeded to tell them I don't want it anymore, and want my money back. They also refused to do that. "Until the truck is back with the appliance". Although they know it is coming back. I called them early evening (now as I am writing this) after waiting for 20-30 minutes I got transferred without being listened to only to be hung up at. I called after that 5 times where I was hung up on without being even answered. That was 6 missed opportunities to be spoken to without any respect or professionalism. I needed help backtracking an old order. MichaeI CESPO is the manager of the large appliance department. He LISTENED to what I needed and made calls and sent emails in order to unravel my paperwork predicament. He was kind and attentive to my request. He contacted me the very next day with a clear and concise resolution. I went back to his Dadeland Store right after his phone call and LEONARD GILLEY, assistant manager of large appliances, gave me a grand tour of all of the kitchen appliances and washers and dryers. The selection and brand choices were overwhelming to me. This is a new kind of "shopping" for me. Leonard patiently helped me select the kitchen appliances that would best meet my needs. He explained all the gadgets on the appliances and answered all of my questions very calmly. He took his time explaining features and did not put any pressure on me to "hurry up". We added a washer and dryer, warranties, and set a delivery day. From start to finish this was a very pleasant experience. I am very excited to see my new appliances. I plan to return to this Dadeland Brandsmart USA to furnish my kitchen with small appliances and kitchen accessories. I bought all my appliances here (washer, gas dryer, gas range, kitchen hood, refrigerator, and dishwasher). The first problem was getting the wrong connector kit for the gas dryer (I received the 240v electric connector kit). Problem was resolved easily once I went to return it. If only for this I would be a satisfied customer. Second issue on the refrigerator one of the trays was scratched (I didn't notice on delivery because it was covered in tape). I am still waiting for the replacement cover two months later. The last straw was that three of the appliances are kitchen aid which were sold to me with the offer for a $500 rebate on select models. The salesperson made a mistake on the dishwasher model he ordered one that did not qualify for the rebate (model number off by one digit). Now kitchen aid won't honor the rebate nor will brandsmart take the wrong model back because it was sold more than 30 days ago. Spare yourself the headaches and inconvenience and buy literally anywhere else even if you have to spend a few hundred more for the same model it'll pay off. Never again brandsmart. Update 5/29/19: I appreciate the responsiveness of the customer support group (Robin), but so far I've only been referred back to the store managers that would not help me in the first place. I would gladly update the review to 3/4 stars if someone with corporate could make the rebate issue right. For now, I will continue avoiding Brandsmart for anymore appliance purchases and recommending friends and family to do the same. read more

My family and I had the utmost pleasure of Edgar Garcia and Kenny install our Sony TV today. They were prompt in their arrival and extremely professional but on the same token - empathetic and very accommodating (cleaned up AND re-organized cables & wires that looked like spaghetti). Both Edgar and Kenny were very intuitive and interactive with my family and I while offering a tutorial on our new TV, as they have excellent interpersonal skills and are extremely effective in communicating in both English and Spanish - which happens to be a lost art and a very scarce skill in South Florida nowadays. Edgar and Kenny were THE BEST installers/ Tech's I've experienced in over 30 years! Jonathan Santiago and Raphael Perdomo were also outstanding in assisting us choose the perfect TV's for our home and the accessories that were a an excellent fit. Both Jonathan and Raphael are evangelists in the latest and advanced television technology - their skill set and knowledge base is second-to-none. They took their time to explain and educate us to the fullest - where I feel like I know just as much as they do about television technology after I left the store. Do not buy anything from Brandsmart, I waited for the delivery from 3 to 7 PM as requested, at 6:50 I called customer service to ask them if they were delivering the merchandise, the customer service agent checked with the driver and told me that they were doing an installation and could not tell me at what time they would come, I then asked the CS agent to cancel my order, and left the property, they left me a message on my home phone that the tried to delivered the appliances at 7:37PM, even Though I specifically told them to use my cell phone since the delivery address and my home are in two different locations. To my surprise, a week and two days later, I found out the order was never cancelled by the agent. I called again customer service and was disconnected , I finally spoke to a Nikky, an extremely rude and nasty "customer service agent" who told me that it would take 48 to 72 hours to cancel the order. They do not give you a confirmation number to show that you have called to cancel the order. If I had talked to one of my customers the way she talked to me, I would have been fired on the spot. Sometimes it does not pay to save a few dollars and endure the treatment I received from them. read more
