    Irvine Spectrum location. Terrible, immature employees

    I just had one of the most unpleasant retail experiences at Brandy Melville in Irvine Spectrum, and it honestly left me shocked at how blatantly unprofessional the staff were. From the moment we walked in, the attitude was cold and dismissive. The employees were not only uninterested in helping customers, but openly rude--rolling their eyes, whispering to each other, and making it very clear that assisting shoppers was the last thing they wanted to do. At one point, we even overheard them speaking negatively about other customers, which is completely unacceptable in any customer-facing environment. What makes this even more disappointing is that we've been loyal customers of this store for years. We've frequented this location regularly and have spent thousands of dollars here over time. To be treated with such disregard after that level of support is incredibly frustrating and frankly insulting. What stood out the most was the complete lack of basic courtesy. No greeting, no offer to help, no attempt to create a welcoming atmosphere--just an air of arrogance and indifference. It felt less like a store and more like an exclusive club where customers were an inconvenience. We came in ready to spend money, but quickly realized our business was neither valued nor appreciated. And while it's obvious the staff couldn't care less whether people shop there or not, the bare minimum expectation is to at least pretend to care. That standard wasn't even met. Needless to say, we won't be returning. There are plenty of other places that actually respect their customers--and that's where our money will be going.

    Rude employee

    Lady checking me out was very rude, but that's not very suprising for this location. I was going to pay to cash and she rolled her eyes at me.. just very unpleasant person. The store was also a mess but it does get really busy in there.

    Super warm and messy store, but kind employees!! When first walking into Brandy Melville, you will become overwhelmed because it is FILLED. I have only walked in during weekends and holidays, but sometimes it isn't worth it due to the messiness and the body heat from everyone. The racks are not organized, the hangers seem to have cloth falling apart, most of the folded clothes have random clothes thrown on top of them, and the dressing rooms are filled with dust bunnies. I feel like it's definitely due to the busy environment. There's also a free sticker bucket near the cash register so you should for sure get your money's worth with Kewpie stickers, Nashville stickers, and Brandy Melville stickers. I was worried that the employees would be rude since Brandy Melville is known for having rude employees. However, everyone I talked to was kind despite the busyness of the store. The store definitely has a great selection, but I feel if you're looking for certain items, you most likely won't find it. I wanted to see if the store was worth going to so I could avoid the $10 shipping, but I honestly think shopping online is better than coming here.

    That's the return policy on line.. so in case anyone else gets confused this means if you return in school they won't refund you

    I ordered clothes online the return policy states you have 30 days to return items. When I went there they said I could only receive store credit. I showed them the policy I read online that doesn't say that.. this young brunette wearing glasses was extremely rude and argued that it does state that. Very short and dismissive temperament not nice at all. No customer service skills. Not to mention she wasn't even the person helping me she just thought she would chime in to be rude. The blonde girl helping me was polite and apologetic said "sorry I know it can be confusing but they won't let us do anything but store credit" much better customer service. Just being kind goes a long way. 1star for the other rude cashier

The girls working were incredibly helpful and showed me all the new holiday dresses they just released. What I love most about this brand is that each piece feels truly one-of-a-kind. The quality and craftsmanship are unmatched, and I always look forward to seeing what's new because they never disappoint! On this visit, I was lucky enough to meet the designer, which was such a treat!! She just happened to be stopping by, and was kind enough to take the time out of her night to chat with me and my friends. It was so inspiring hearing her talk about the thought and care that goes into choosing the fabrics and lace details for each design as she creates each piece. She even shared the story behind the dress I ended up buying to go with a cardigan I had just bought (she even showed me photos of the Parisian manor that inspired the collection), and it made the experience feel even more special. This store is a true gem, and I feel so lucky to have it in my shopping rotation. It's not like anything else out there, and I'll definitely keep coming back whenever I need a pick-me-up. The team is always so welcoming and kind, and I always leave feeling inspired and excited about my latest find!

There's a lovely attendant named Natalia who has helped us the last few visits and I now know to look for her as soon as we walk in. Customer service refunded the missing item, but because their system doesn't allow replacements, I was told I would have to place a brand-new order and pay shipping again if I wanted the correct shirt. While the customer service representative was kind and professional throughout the process, the company's policies left me paying for a mistake that wasn't mine. A refund for the missing item doesn't resolve the fact that I still don't have what I originally ordered, and I don't think customers should have to pay additional shipping costs to correct a fulfillment error. I appreciate the representative's professionalism, but Garage's resolution was 450 reward points and no way to receive the correct item without spending more money. That's disappointing for a company of this size. I hope Garage reevaluates its policies so future customers aren't left in the same situation.
