First when I walk in it took a while for me to get acknowledged the advisors are very unprofessional. Who wears jeans in that position!? I droped off for my appointment at 9am. It was just for an oil change and tire rotation or "the works" and quoted 86 bucks on my 2022 bronco. I said I need it ready by 4. Well 4 came with no text or call or email.I called and it kept going to a voicemail box that was full. Finally got ahold of sales who put me on hold. The advisor finally picked up and said "yeah its all set and we have to order the parts for the seat belt recall" (I didn't know it had a recall) I asked to pay for it and leave it unlocked with the keys under the matt for when I get there at 530 they say no problem. I was told it was $86 out the door. I get there to pick it up and the bill says $127 with no MPI and no information on the Recall. Also all the Gauges where changed and my MPH was in KM!? I called and complained to their GM? And then got a call the following morning. They said "it takes extra oil" ... (it takes 7qts i most other cars are between 5 and 6 but $40 a Qt then??) I asked why the recall wasnt noted on the papperwork and got "we ordered the part for you" okay so why does nothing say it on my reciept? The past few oil changes i have gone to bob Thomas and "the works package" came to $86 bucks. What's the other 40? I went to brandford Ford out of convenience but never again. They offered me a free oil change for next time and that they would send me the MPI I requested... didn't get the mpi. I'm glad I made it clear I marked my tires and would know if they got rotated including the spare like I requested.

Let me check it out a few times and he put no pressure at all. He even offered to get a cracked lens on the dashboard replaced. It turned out to be more complicated and expensive for Grieco, but Noah and the staff made sure it eventually got done. I would definitely return to Grieco for my next car - especially if Noah is still around!

Definitely not your typical car buying experience!…read more I found a car here online that I was very interested in seeing and set up an appointment with Caroline. The next day I drove two hours from out of state to view and test drivr the car in person. When I arrived, Caroline greeted me and mentioned they were putting new brakes and rotors on the front and that it would be ready very soon to drive. As it was close to lunchtime, the employees were all setting up a group order from a fast food restaurant, and after Caroline learned that I was a huge pizza fan she personally ordered and bought me a large pie from a local spot. Who does that? One of the sweetest genuine people and what a super thoughtful gesture. She said I needed a large to take some home for my family to try. I proceeded to have lunch with the staff in their break room and enjoyed great conversation - mind you I have not purchased the car, let alone test drove it- and they were treating me like an old friend! At one point I joked that I would just come back daily for lunch! After a belly-full I test drove the car and Caroline made sure to let me feel the car on the hwy as well as city streets. I got to meet the owner (Phil) as well, and the hospitality continued throughout. After making the purchase, Phil said he could pick me up from the train station if I wanted to come back up to drive it home. I decided on shipping it, and Caroline went above and beyond to find a shipper and help coordinate- something that was not even their responsibility! She was extremely thorough and organized all the documents I needed including the papers for titling in my state. There was a delay in shipping partially due to the holiday weekend but Caroline continued to help by putting pressure on the shippers and even seeking potential alternatives if needed- amazing A+++ service! Folks- this place overflows with customer service. From the first second that I walked in til the moment I left, everyone I saw greeted me, spoke with me, made sure I was comfortable and contributed to the most stress-free car buying afternoon ever. Sell them your car, buy a car, have them locate a car for you- whatever you do, it is worth the visit! So refreshing to see a no haggle, no pressure, genuine experience in today's age.

This is the place to go for all your car…read moreneeds especially if you have a european car, whether it's mercedes, audi, Vw, BMW, mini, Saab etc. Tom is great and very knowledgeable when it comes to these cars and also a very charismatic individual. My wife's car, 2006 VW Jetta TDI was having an issue with the car going into limp mode at random times especially on the highways. It was beyond frustrating because the check engine light would go on with a generic code which made it hard to pin-point the exact cause of the issue. Tom took my car in and drove it for couple of days to troubleshoot the problem, and he did find the problem. It was a broken waste gate actuator that'd fail to open intermittently especially when the engine was under heavy load. After replacing the actuator the problem went away.. thanks to Tom. Here's the deal, I took the car to several mechanics prior to Euro Specialists, and none of them could figure out the problem. They all charged me diagnostic fees along with other things that they thought was causing the limp mode. Thanks European Specialists, I'll be sure to bring all my cars here for repairs and services.

I have a solid BMW guy where I live in NY but commuting to New Haven now makes that situation…read morenearly impossible so I faced the music that finding someone here made much more sense. Alas, I embarked on a deep dive into researching BMW experts in the area. Though I was skeptical of going to a mechanic who is also a dealer for reasons one may conjure on their own, Carhavn had the strongest reviews by far and seemingly very transparent practices. The first time I dropped of my beautiful 325xi wagon, I started off by proactively pontificating that I would never sell it, so not even to bother trying to sell me into something newer or attempt to buy my low mileage, sea-foam green beauty off of me. Ramiro is a funny, kind, straightforward and very thoughtful guy who I could tell immediately upon meeting that he could handle not only me (um, handful) but my many questions and the needs of my older car. He approaches consultation with excellent transparency and communication. Even more importantly, for a woman by herself in a new mechanic's shop, I never once felt mansplained to (ladies, you will know that this is very important). Ramiro listens and clearly joys in educating people about their cars and how to have a lasting relationship with them. He is the owner and from what I can tell, does not do the actual repairs, and on one occasion where I called to say "hey this thing has suddenly stopped working" he went and asked his guys, came right back and said "try doing this" and viola, the problem fixed itself without me having to bring it in (or pay anything). That's major. When I first read the Yelp reviews, I thought that getting photos of the parts and job while work was being done sounded maybe like a bit of overkill, but I'm just a born skeptic... I will tell you that to be on the receiving end of that kind of service has been remarkably comforting, which was unexpected. Especially for my partner who is 80 miles away and usually very involved in the maintenance of our vehicles. I love my car and as driving is such a part of my daily life and I want to keep her healthy, strong on the road for years to come; I definitely have an ally in Ramiro. Lastly, the one time I really got stuck, on the 6th floor of my parking garage two Friday evenings ago, I reached out to Ramiro (to whine, and) to tell him I'd be having the car towed in. He not only responded to me, but called my phone, after hours, to ask about what was happening, to learn what the AAA battery assessment report said, and offered that it sounded fuel related rather than battery, alternator, starter, etc. He checked back with me through the evening as he knew I was by myself, and offered to help how he could... ABOVE AND BEYOND, people. And, it did indeed turn out to be the fuel pump. I'm sure Ramiro didn't want to be doing that on a Friday evening (and maybe I shouldn't be telling others that he did, ha), but this cemented that I was clearly dealing with a business who cares genuinely not only about my satisfaction as a customer, but for my wellbeing as a human person. After having my car serviced by Carhavn on now three occasions (two preventative maintenance jobs, plus the fuel pump), I will attest 100% that Ramiro is an honest business owner with great integrity and a deep, genuine love for European cars and building trust with his clientele. His wife is amazing and I love seeing her warm smile when I come in, too. They can certainly be trusted to do an excellent job with your car; using the best parts they can get their hands on, giving an accurate estimate on cost always (and even a Yale employee discount! Thanks!), delivering within the timeframe promised and they even have a loaner vehicle for pre-planned, all day jobs. Don't even think twice about bringing your car to this business.
