    Brussels sprouts appetizer

How did I not know about this place??? Great ambiance. Lighting flattering. Music relaxing. We sat in a booth. It wasn't busy on a Monday night. Service excellent. We split the Brussels sprouts appetizers; they were very good. Portion was generous. Would like to return!!

The promise of half price wings on a cold Monday night brought us in to try Brass Rabbit pub out. We're glad we did!! My partner spoke very highly of the wings and the deal was great! We tried their pretzel bites which were pretty good for pub fare. My hot fried chicken sandwich was flavorful, but even better was the side salad it came with. Perfectly dressed and fresh! Our server was great and the place has a pretty cozy vibe. Can't wait to try more of their menu!

Great service, super fast and thoughtful server who was simultaneously managing a 12 top. Pretzel bites were almost deep fried? Pretty tasty. But here's the best part. I thought I was gaming the system (and I was hungry for wings). I ordered 2 sets of the half priced (special) wings. How many could there possibly be in an order? It turns out, about 12! And they were super good at that! Not crispy as I thought I was ordering; the receipt showed beer brined I believe. Consider this when choosing to do the special - when was the last time you bit into a chicken wing and really thought "wow, that tastes like chicken!" Prepare for that thought here. Best wings I've had in a while.

We haven't been to brass rabbit in a while. The menu has changed since we were here last. My son always wants the eggs Benedict which was taken off. It wasn't busy at all on a Sunday afternoon/brunch time. I can kind of see why. The food looks fantastic, but is a bit sub-par. My husband got the croissant with cream cheese and lox - he said it was just ok, he wouldn't get it again. My adult son who thinks almost everything is good said his pancakes were tough. He saved some caramel sauce from the French toast and he enjoyed that. Maybe they were overmixed? My burger was overall ok. I felt the French toast bites we got as an appetizer were the best. The blueberries on it were good the strawberries tasted a bit old. I ordered a hot coffee and it was cold and stale. I let the server know and she made a new pot. My husband got a soda. I think there were only 2 servers for the whole place. We asked for drink refills and they never came so we asked the other server. The other server came back about 30 minutes later saying sorry I forgot your refills. Seems they might be understaffed. They had kind demeanor and genuinely seemed nice. I know the bar area had more people too not sure if fifa was on.

Located in the heart of Clarendon. We came here on a whim but it was a satisfying meal to end the week. They do have some outdoor seating. The interior was very English pub-y and definitely has some character. Lamb burger was good. They have a good deal for Sunday where you can get a bottle of champagne for $10. I went with two people who don't drink, so it was just me and I did not make it through the whole bottle. The lamb burger was good, tasty. My friend got the shakshucka and eggs Benedict. I really liked the sauce in the shakshucka creamy and slightly sweet. The pretzel bites were good and very toasted crunchy. I do think it was a bit too grungy in there but classic bar vibes. I definitely left quite full!

I wanted to love this place, I really did. The food was great but the service was lackluster. The place was pretty quiet and mostly empty for a Sunday evening. We had secured reservations prior, for our group. We sat down and were given menus, and asked what we wanted to drink right away. However, we had to ask to order our food after it was about a half hour without being asked if we were ready to order. (And I had to ask for silverware for the table, and flag down for another drink). Mind you this place was pretty empty for the most part, except for at the bar where there were a small handful. The entire group agreed, the service was really slow / inattentive and they were getting frustrated with it. Anyway, food was pretty good. I got the blackened salmon salad and the salad was really crisp, the salmon was tender. He got the spicy avocado burger. He got two beers that I forgot the name of, and I had the espresso martini and an old fashioned. I wanted to love this place because the food was good but was overshadowed by the dismally slow inattentive service.

I've been to brass rabbit twice; once post-dinner and once for a work happy hour. The popcorn they give each table is delicious and the atmosphere inside and outside are very nice! The drinks honestly aren't great to me, I think I'm just not in love with their menu. I'll come back if offered but it's nothing to write home about.

Came here for the first time, the staff were really friendly. The restaurant itself has a cool, relax ambiance, I like the decorations. I ordered the medium cheddar burger with tomato, and added grilled mushrooms. The mushrooms were such a great touch and I'm so happy they were able to add them. It was a nice size burger and very flavorful, only thing I might be careful for next time, is that I asked for it medium and it came out more medium rare but I'm sure if i would have asked to put it back on the grill, they would have. I really liked that my burger came with a choice of a side, i got the house salad and it was very flavorful. My roommate enjoyed her very cheesy grilled cheese that came with a creamy soup AND a side salad. The portions here are a very nice size. I hear coming here at night is always a good time and to try their espresso martinis, so I will have to come back and check them out then.

So my friends and I stumbled across this place by accident. We were paying the parking meter and it was so cold, we just ran in there instead of walking to our initial destination. It's a really cute spot that seems perfect for friends to meet up and catch up with one another or come in and watch the game. Our server, Melvin, was amazing! He was very friendly and super attentive. We got a range of things, from Brussel sprouts, to wings, to salmon, and more! The wings and salmon were our favorites! They have a variety of cocktails as well! If you're in the area, check them out!

I've been here a few times and recently came this past weekend for brunch. My boyfriend and I loved everything, it seems they were a little busy so we did wait a good amount of time to order but once ordered the food came out within about 10 minutes or so. We ordered the champagne bottle with orange juice, French toast bites, avocado toast and crab cake benny. Everything was a solid 10 for us! Parking is on the street unless you choose to pay for the garage and the service was great! Beautifully decorated and the bar ambiance is top tier.

I stumbled upon this place a few weeks ago on a random Sunday. I wandered in looking for a good brunch and I saw they had an amazing brunch deal with $10 bottles of champagne with the purchase of an entrée. I walked in the establishment is beautiful. It is beautifully decorated. The bar is beautiful. it was empty. It was like four of us in total And the whole restaurant which confused me because the deals are amazing. The food was amazing and my service was amazing. The bartender Mike was super nice. He had great conversation. He helped me navigate them and really well. I ordered the spicy avocado, burger and fries I also started with the feta Dip which was good however it could've used a little seasoning also, I think it's over priced at $14... it wasn't enough bread & veggies to finish the whole did this a decent 8 dollar appetizer. At best. The fries were perfectly seasoned and fresh. My burger was perfectly seasoned perfectly cooked. Everything came out in a great time and there was another bartender who made fresh popcorn with their house seasoning. It was so delicious. They have great weekly deals that are literally unheard of. I would love to gate keep this place, but I won't! I will be back later this month to celebrate my birthday & to host a brunch for my walking club because the service the food and the playlist was on point. I'm just so surprised that this place was super empty.

Awesome drinks, open late-ish, have a small outdoor patio, happy hour M-F 3-6p, and not a bad spot for football/sports. They changed the tv for us which was nice, some places won't do that if you're looking for a specific game. Brunch: French toast bites are a must order Carrot cake pancakes are as good as they look A flight of infused vodka - why not? (They'd all be good as cocktails) Tasty wings The burgers and fries are really good, too

So I'll pose this questions to my fellow beer hunters. What matters to you most ... atmosphere of the bar, or an excellent selection of craft beers on tap, including a few that are hard to find, at rock bottom prices. If you are in the camp of the latter, then you will love Arlington Pub. I stumbled upon Arlington Pub a bit on accident. I was in the area and had heard lots of great things about Galaxy Hut and wanted to check them out. I got there about 4:15PM and found their door locked. Having to REALLY need to use the bathroom, I decided to hop across the street to Whole Foods, take care of business, and then figure out a place to kill time until 5PM. As I headed upstairs towards the restroom, I saw that my search for a place to kill time would be over quickly. Behold Arlington Pub. They had recently had a tap takeover from Oskar Blues Brewing, the brewery best know for Dale's Pale Ale. Tap takeovers are a great way to find and sample beers that you rarely see. In this case, it was the excellent Ninja Cow ESB. I found it a bit dark in color for an ESB, but had that characteristic ESB smoothness. They were on the tail end of the tap takeover, so some of the OB brews were tapped, but had been replaced with some interesting options. They offer a flight, so I decided to sample a few of the other OB offerings - their 10 Fidy Imperial Stout and Gubna Imperial IPA. I also threw in selections from other breweries - Sump Coffee Stout from Perennial and Allagash Curieux, a Belgian Tripel aged in Jim Beam bourbon barrels. These are all VERY strong beers, but the flight pours were generous, and there was no upcharge on the strong brews. The flight, normally $5, was $4 for happy hour. And prices like this is what makes you forget that you are enjoying cheap craft beer on the top floor of a hipster grocery store. My pint of Ninja Cow, normally $3, was a dollar off for happy hour. Throw in a double espresso to finish off after the flight, and my tab was under $10. And the bartender/barista actually functions as a checkout cashier, so there is no need to tip and no place for tipping on a credit card transaction. (I didn't ask if they were allowed to take cash tips ... I didn't have cash, so it was a bit of a moot point.) So if you can get over the fact that the this is a bar on the upper level of Whole Foods, you'll find Arlington Pub is a great place to kill some time and enjoy a great selection of craft beer at insanely cheap prices.

All the other Whole Foods have a much better Beer & Wine selection and are far more cleaner. The glasses all have lip marks and the tables have chunks of old food and are sticky ALWAYS! There are also numerous surveillance cameras & the lighting is extremely harsh above the bar which I find very odd. It's a shame because I love eating & having a drink or two at Whole Foods for it's a comfortable place to be alone & not feel like I'm at a meat market. I now many times go to the Fairoaks location which has lower nice lighting, is clean and has a great atmosphere.

I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. My interpretation of the gist of what everyone was complaining about was that they used to come here all the time (as did I years ago, but it's been a year since being here) and they didn't like the new, slimmed down menu... and they definitely hated the prices here now. Our service was ok, nothing special. I feel like the majority of the servers are very young and might not have the training, nor experience to understand what true service is, not just taking orders and bringing food. The menu was nice. We liked their "Everyday is Sunday" section of the menu, so we tried 2 orders (4 persons) of the pork chop tomahawk and 1 order (2 persons) of the Côte de Boeuf. We started with their Scotch Egg - WOW! Really flavorful with a great texture, inside and out. Definitely a very nice way to start. Cocktails and wine were a hit here for sure! Especially Jarad's G&T, which we got a couple of. Main dishes were great! Plenty of food too!! The spices on the crust of the porkchop tomahawk were so tasty and the temperature was spot-on! The steak in the Côte de Boeuf was incredible! Perfectly seasoned and at that absolute perfect temperature too! The carrots that came with this were very nicely done, but the potatoes stole the show! This dish came with OUTSTANDING Fondant potatoes... They had a great, smokey flavor to them, as if they were basted in pork fat. The meat was perfectly textured and flavored. Overall - While this is no longer the Hunter's Head that many came to know, love, and enjoy, I feel they're doing a decent job here. I'll definitely return, as I want to try their fish & chips!

Let's start with the unexpected hero of this story... the chicken sandwich. This thing had absolutely no business being as good as it was. The breaded chicken slapped, the pickle had that perfect crisp snap, and the brioche bun came strolling in like it knew it was the prettiest person at the party. Seriously, that bun deserves recognition for its supporting role. Even the fries were really good, and I'm not a fries guy. Usually fries are just the edible packing material keeping my sandwich from sliding around the plate, but I actually found myself eating these voluntarily. Unfortunately, my margarita was aggressively mid. It wasn't bad. It wasn't good. It was technically a margarita and successfully completed all contractual obligations associated with being one. The atmosphere was... a restaurant. There were tables. There were chairs. People ate food at them. No particular vibe or energy jumped out at me. Service was similarly pure, uncut service. We ordered things. Those things arrived. Transactions occurred. Mission accomplished. Would I go back? Absolutely if someone suggested it. Would I cross state lines and embark on a pilgrimage? Probably not. But I'd order that chicken sandwich again without hesitation... and maybe ask if they'll put my margarita on a brioche bun too.
