Definitely a hidden gem! I LOVED the vibe of this place. Service was great from the security at the front to our waiter! Great energy overall. The drinks were delicious. I can't believe it was my first time here but I will definitely be back! My friends and I had a great time. We only went for drinks but I can't wait to go back and try the food. Great addition to downtown Covina!!

Cool and beautiful unique spot located in downtown Covina. It has an exclusive speakeasy vibe, playing Afro-house chill tunes. The menu was a bit smaller than I wanted, but great for sharing. I tried the ahi tuna tartare, bravado burger, and apple orchard salad with added steak. Surprisingly everything was very filling. Cocktails were delicious but a tad bit too sweet. Dress to impress since it's a classy, upscale and trendy spot.

Even though we had a reservation, they gave us the option of indoor or outdoor. We requested both and they were very accommodating. We started off outdoor drinks and then indoor for our meals. I love our drinks and food are delicious. I do recommend this for date night or maybe a smaller intimate gathering. In this case or our friends birthday. Thank you Chris for the birthday shots. Our bill was under 600 and totally worth it! Check out the restrooms. They're very cute.

I've lived in this area for over 25 years, and I can't believe it took a place like this to open just four months ago. I had the chance to meet the owner, and he was such a genuinely kind guy. You can tell he put a lot of thought into creating the space because the vibe is incredible dark, aesthetic, and perfect for a date night or drinks with friends. We shared one of the flatbreads, and somehow ended up ordering an espresso martini.. and I'm so glad we did because it was honestly one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had. The service made the experience even better. Our server was so much fun, had the biggest smile, and brought such great energy to our table. I wish I could remember his name because he deserves the recognition.

Two Words: Bravado Burger Hands down thee best burger in my own humble yelp opinion... the perfect bite, perfect bun, and condiments. Far from dry, delicious flavor and meat ratio. Im a huge fan of the Father's Office burger and this burger is just like it, if not better. And the great thing is, it's so much closer to home!! Wonderful service as always, and never can get enough of the elegant location, seating and views. And they do have TVs for world Cup viewing!!

Checked out Bravado in downtown Covina last night and overall had a great experience. We had an 8pm reservation and as soon as my date and I walked in together, he was informed he needed to remove his hat. No issue at all -- I completely understand and respect a dress code. The ambiance is beautiful, intimate, and exactly the kind of upscale vibe Covina has needed. They also had great cocktail options and I appreciated seeing additive-free tequila selections. Food was excellent. I ordered the Caesar salad with baby gem lettuce and added chicken -- seriously so good. My date ordered the burger and it was delicious. We also shared the truffle fries, which I believe are hand cut, and I loved them. Service was great and overall we really enjoyed the experience. My only complaint: I noticed a gentleman, possibly the owner, walking around the restaurant wearing a casual hat. It felt a little inconsistent considering guests are required to remove theirs. If there's a dress code for customers, I think staff and management should probably follow the same standard. Other than that, definitely check this place out. Covina needed something like this.

Came by Bravado on a Friday night and was a bit disappointed. First we almost didnt get in because someone in our group was considered underdressed for wearing heels with pinstripe joggers, despite there being many people there in jeans and casual shoes. We managed to get in "as a one time deal" but it was a bit embarrassing considering we were told in front of all the people waiting. We ordered drinks and they were not very good. The drinks were very sweet and you could barely taste the alcohol. Not to mention my glass was sticky and my sister's glass had finger prints all over. After that we decided not to order any food. The inside of the place itself is very cute and our server was very nice.

10/10 recommend Such a great gem! This place has the perfect speakeasy vibe with a small, intimate atmosphere that makes it feel cozy and unique. The indoor space is beautifully designed, and the bar seating is especially nice if you're looking to enjoy a drink and watch the bartenders at work. They also have a lovely outdoor patio that's perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a date night. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The food was just as impressive, and everything we ordered was delicious. Overall, this is an amazing spot with great food, great service, and an incredible ambiance. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend checking it out!

First time to Bravado a few weeks ago and it was nothing short of amazing. I ordered the sashimi grade Salmon Crudo which was prepared perfectly with fresh greens and produce that complemented the flavor so well. I also highly recommend the paper planes cocktail slightly bitter upfront with an incredibly refreshing aftertaste. Black Dahlia (7/10) and Bravado Old Fashioned (8/10) were also tasty. The ambiance of Bravado when I went was very lively and energetic. They played house style music and stuff, a bit on the louder side but as someone who loves his music loud I felt right at home. The place was bustling. It's very dim in here with accent lighting which makes for a great romantic experience. The bartenders are very busy and extremely backed up with tickets but are able to manage even with the extra large bar top and incoming tickets. My server for the night, Gaby was incredible from start to finish. She is very hospitable and so knowledge about all the food & beverage offerings. Service like this turns a good experience and turns it into a great one. Thank you Gaby. I will definitely be returning to Bravado soon.

Went here for a drink with an old friend. Very nice place, drink selection was great as well with a variety of small plates. Service was great as well. It's a little dark, perfect if your on a date. Once they opened up the divider to the outside area the place lit up nicely. They had entertainment with someone singing some Frank Sinatra, really enjoyed it. Definitely will be back with my wife and friends. Perfect place for before or after the Laugh Factory down the street. Convenient parking in the back.

This hidden gem just recently opened in my neighborhood. I had no reservations and was able to get a seat at the Bar, was the best for me cause that where all the fun at. Amazing experience..... Absolutely love the ambiance 100/100 Enrique the Bartender I asked him to make me something with Rye Whiskey and berries He Delivered ! My new best friend. Food: Delicious... had the Bravado burger Juicy and the home made chips ,just fried just right, thin and perfectly crispy. The Cacio Pepe ,a must try dish pasta and salmon. Didn't disappoint. Served the perfect amount. I asked for my salmon Blackened. There was a Dj playing music ,I thought it was a little too loud for the space. Hopefully the manager will read this. Looking forward to coming back.

First time trying Bravado after its debut. I noticed in some of the comments, there was a way to make reservations, and found they're on Open Table. No issues with that option - lots of availability. We arrived a few minutes late (walked from home bc we're local) and were seated within 5 minutes. The interior is absolutely beautiful inside and the way they optimized the space was perfection. The long bar is central in the restaurant with one side enclosed and other side of the bar, open air and patio seating. Really beautiful and sets the mood for the evening. We ordered drinks (Dirty Martini for me, Red Wine for my husband), which took 30 fricken minutes to receive. Yes, I timed it. They have 2 bartenders, who work feverishly fast to whip out had crafted drinks. But dang, that is waay too long for drinks!! Hire a 3rd, please! We ordered the Stuffed Dates as an appetizer... which was pretty underwhelming. The presentation was questionable and the taste wasn't the best. They were split open with bacon crumbles, cheese crumbles and slivered bell peppers and green onions with a crisscross design of balsamic glaze in the center of the plate. Please, rethink this dish. It has the potential to be better. Stuff the dates with the cheese, wrap with bacon, drizzle that balsamic on top - lose the peppers and green onions. Despite the appearance, they were a till edible but could be excellent! We ordered a second round of drinks (same drinks, but I asked for a "Dirtier" Martini), and our entrees. I ordered the Beef Tartare and my husband ordered the Filet Mignon (medium rare). The drinks came out significantly quicker and my entree arrived within a few minutes. We then waited about 10-15 minutes for my husband's filet to come out. So again, this could be remedied if the kitchen works on their timing. Both entrees were absolutely delicious!! Honestly, that filet mignon was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. My tartare was also seasoned perfectly and paired so well with the think potato chips and my martini. I was a very happy girl!! Overall the experience was great and our server, Destiny, was perfection. She was attentive and repeatedly came by to check on us and the food. Food was delicious and drinks were great. Shout out to the DJ for adding some beautiful dance music for the evening. Bravado is a breath of fresh air to the DT Covina night scene. I can't wait to see how they continue to making a lasting imprint for the city.

I've been there when it's empty enough to hijack the TouchTunes from my phone, and I've been there when it's so packed you're basically making new friends whether you planned to or not. The crowd runs 23 to 73, but it leans Millennial/Gen X in the most comfortable way possible. Music is gloriously chaotic. Friday DJs spinning Zapp & Roger and funky dance vibes one minute, then System of a Down or The Smiths on another night. Emotional range. But the one constant is The drinks are always strong. Not craft cocktail precious. Strong. The bartenders are heavy-handed and the prices are shockingly reasonable, which means two or three drinks here will absolutely set the tone for your evening. I love Union, and I love Northern Italian food - reservation made! My partner asked if I'd looked at the menu, because so many of the dishes looked spicy, but I was like... it's northern Italian, how spicy could it be? So beware that if you're spice-sensitive like I am, your options will be more limited. Ambiance was lovely; we sat inside but there is a nice outdoor patio too. Cocktail menu had creative choices, and the To Peach Their Own was my favorite. Standout dishes: Lumache with lobster and miso cream (ate every last bite!), Torchetti with pork ragu, and the tiramisu with sea salt on top. The stars of the meal! Great: Focaccia - don't skip this to start! Good: Burrata. The peaches were a little underripe and the burrata wasn't as creamy as I expected, but the overall dish was good Service was warm and attentive - the staff took the kampachi off our bill, even though we probably should have googled "togarashi" before ordering. I'm really sensitive to spicy food and it completely overwhelmed the delicate crudo. Overall, it was a lovely date night and I'd absolutely come back! I lived in Covina for a long time and I'm happy to see it get another neighborhood gem.

After months of planning, I was naturally nervous, but Bill made the whole process so much easier. He was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions, and always willing to work with me to make sure every detail came together. Most importantly, he was true to his word. Everything we discussed beforehand was delivered exactly as promised, which gave me so much peace of mind. The staff was just as amazing. The service was extremely slow to start--we waited a while just for water and to get drink orders taken. We ordered the Ahi tuna appetizer, which was good, but the course pacing completely fell apart after that. Our salads took 25 minutes to arrive. Before I could even get the fresh ground pepper I requested, our main courses were rushed to the table while we hadn't even started our salads. The food quality was unacceptable for an upscale restaurant: Both my wife and I ordered our steaks medium-rare. Mine arrived completely leathery, dry as a bone, and thoroughly overcooked. I didn't eat a single bite of it. My wife's steak arrived medium-well, and her side of rice was completely dry. The bottle of red wine we ordered from their very small wine list was served warm. When we declined having the steak re-fired or free dessert, we finished our wine and asked for the check. The $62 inedible steak was still on the bill, so I asked to speak with the owner. When I calmly explained the issues, the owner became angry that I didn't want the steak redone and walked away mid-conversation. He eventually came back, removed the $62 steak, and told us he didn't want us back in his restaurant. To top it off, for an establishment charging fine-dining prices where guests dress up, the owner was wearing shorts and sneakers. One chance is all a restaurant gets to make a good impression. Lincoln House missed the mark completely. We will not be returning.

It was crispy enough to keep you wanting more. The flavor wasn't too fishy and it was accompanied by some tasty dipping sauces. Would definitely order again. Molcajete: 4/5 A favorite at our table that was filled with so many protein options and a nice salsa to pair with. We loved the chicken, chorizo, and the queso!! The only reason it got a 4/5 was because the steak was waaaay too salty which made it hard to enjoy. The shrimp was a nice touch, also not too fishy and the bacon paired nicely. You can definitely taste a variety of flavors and it's also a big enough portion to share! Comes with beans and rice which we ended up splitting with our kiddos. Jamaica: 5/5 We loved the Jamaica here and it tastes very traditional. It doesn't taste like it's made from powder and comes in a huge glass cup. Not too sweet and the bold flavor of the hibiscus makes it hard to stop drinking! Loved it. Overall, a great place to dine in for celebrations or just for a nice dinner. Would definitely recommend if you're nearby. I hope to come back soon.

You seat yourself, we chose a spacious seating section to the right. There's a bathroom right here so that's convenient. Unfortunately, the start of the experience wasn't great. A nice person came to take our drink order said she would be right back. Between now and then it's been 20 minutes, and 4 different staff/servers have stopped by our table to ask us if we need anything. In which we've been replying yes we would like to order. Each one of them responds the same way, ill notify your server. I don't really blame the girl though, they're pretty short staff. She's all over the place, she probably just forgot about it or didn't realize how much time was passing by. I mean, what can she do at the end of the day. It would've been nice if one of the other four people would've taken our order though. They're not just helping out as the customers, but they're also helping out there staff as well. I got to the point where we were debating about leaving, but we had already ordered our drinks. Aside from that the vibe is pretty cool. I really enjoy the music they have been playing. They also have a live band. It's good for parties and groups. The staff is friendly, they're nice The drinks and the food are very good. Unfortunately, the wings were not very hot when they came out. We both think the wings were probably done first, and just sitting there for a little while while the rest of the food was being made. Because we were able to very easily pick up our wings and eat them no problem. They were barely warm. I'm not sure if I would be back again just because they seem so short staffed and they don't seem like they communicate very well with each other. But I did enjoy the overall experience.

We enjoyed the ceviche tostadas, caldo de camarón, potato taquitos, café de olla, and Mexicafé. Every dish exceeded our expectations. The best part of our visit was Molly! She delivered exceptional customer service, friendly, attentive, charismatic, and genuinely caring. She made wonderful recommendations, anticipated our needs, and made us feel truly welcomed. Molly elevated an already amazing dining experience into an unforgettable one. If you visit Ola Restobar, ask for Molly. You'll be glad you did! We can't wait to come back with family and friends.

Jorge came outside multiple times, clearly saw how many people were waiting, and even recorded the crowd on his phone three different times for social media. Knowing the capacity of the restaurant, he could have easily informed everyone that the remaining people in line would likely not get in. Instead, we waited over three hours with no communication. While we were waiting, I repeatedly watched people call Jorge. He would come outside, greet them, and bring them straight inside. I personally saw this happen at least six different times. When it was finally our turn to speak with the host, we were told there were no seats left, that we would have to stand, and that we wouldn't even be able to order food. I confronted Jorge about letting those other groups in ahead of everyone else. His response was that he knew them personally and that they were friends of the restaurant owners. That explanation only made the situation worse. My wife had just finished a 14-hour hospital shift, and we came here hoping to enjoy the game together. Instead, we spent three hours waiting only to be treated as though our time didn't matter. What was most shocking was Jorge's attitude. He literally told me, "They won't do anything to me if you post this. I'm friends with the owner." If that's the mindset of management, it's no surprise customers are treated this way. It truly felt like only friends and family received special treatment while everyone else was left waiting without honesty or respect. I have no issue waiting when things are busy, but I do expect transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those qualities.
