A few of the tables have handwritten notes underneath clear glass. I noticed many heartfelt messages that sparked my imagination as to how the writers must've felt. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with chatter from local customers who seemed to know the owners well. We had also played a card game after eating, so this cafe is good for that as well. The owners were friendly and even took our plates and cups once we were finished. There's very limited parking right next to the cafe, so I had to make use of residential streets. However, it's worth making a trip here to try this coffeehouse. Also, It's interesting how they open early at 7 am per Google Maps. But there's quite a bit around the area within walking distance, you can easily make a day out of it too. Months ago, one of my friends had made a visit and overheard an elderly woman making a negative comment about a Pride flag displayed by the register. Obviously other customers comments cant be or shouldn't be controlled by the company, but we were extremely disappointed to find out that since that comment was made, the Pride flag has been taken down. I had ran in to grab a drip before work one morning and noticed that some of the baristas also no longer had their Pride flag pins on. This clearly has details I am unaware of but it seems obvious that corporate had those images removed. This makes me and my friends feel very uncomfortable with how this situation was treated. I wouldn't recommend any of my friends to support this kind of activity. One very simple solution for you: Bring back the flag and you'll bring back our buisness! If you're worried about more complaints from individuals like the elderly woman, maybe fly an American flag as well I simply want people to feel safe and accepted.
