Have fond memories of going here with my grandmother, always remembered it had great pasta! It is a little pricy though but still good food.

This eatery is within an outdoor mall area (we are visiting from out of town). My husband and I split the salmon dinner. Chefs did an AMAZING job. Not only did they split the dinner into two separate plates, but the salmon was succulent and moist, and veggies were cooked just enough to make them tender. Delicious. Cud dos to the chefs! My husband and I needed a quick dinner once we arrived in Lansing. I was beyond stressed out so we picked a place close to our hotel. Looking over the menu, I felt limited as there were not many vegetarian options and all of them include cheese. Don't tell me that I should have ordered a salad; I was hungry and my diet does not consist of only salad when I go out to eat. Luckily I had a Lactaid in my purse so I was able to share the Fried Ravioli with my husband. They were good! And it is cute that they are served on oil paper that looks like Italian newspaper. I am just not sure why they serve it with ranch; that was not a pleasant combination. I ordered a Margherita Pizza as an entrée and while it was good, it was also a little oily and under-baked. It wasn't doughy but it would definitely have been improved by another minute in the oven. Overall it was an OK meal but I think we'd like to try some other Italian places in the area before returning here. read more

Had a really good dinner here and friendly staff...lots of choices for every taste. Even had excellent gluten free items. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is sold as a traditional open fire, authentic Italian restaurant. However the dishes are inartful and not all that tasty. The best way to describe the experience is fools gold. You'll pay for a meal that will not measure up to the high price. Dinner for two was $85 (flatbread app, two entrees, 2 glasses of wine, and a shared dessert). To top it off, the service was average. LOVE Bravo! I've been here a ton of times and the food is always amazing! Their Insalata Della Casa is delicious and I usually add shrimp to it for a starter. Their menus changes periodically so some of my favorites have come and gone but I've never been disappointed with the food. The service is also great. The pace of the meal is somewhere between that of a classic sit-down restaurant (average pace) and fine-dining (longer wait after ordering, more time to socialize). In town visiting my family for the holidays. My wife and I had a date night and were looking for a nice place to eat after a movie. Both my wife and I were very pleased with our meals. Lobster bisque was great and our entrees and desserts were very good as well. Service was great and the place had nice decor. Would definitely return. read more

Food was mediocre and portion sizes were small but the price was reasonable. Appetizers were good. Had reservations but had to wait 20 minutes before being seated, however they compensated us with 2 free appetizers so that was nice. Martinis were strong and well prepared. Oh my good Italian food. Once this place opened I don't know if I ever went back to Olive Garden. Since leaving East Lansing I haven't found another Bravo but I sure hope we cross paths again someday. From the minute you sit down and start dipping your bread into that delicious oil and vinegar concoction you know you're in for a treat. I normally like small hole in the wall type places for Italian bc it tends to be more authentic and flavorful, but wow was this a pleasant surprise! We were greeted right away and though it was busy the wait wasn't very long! The waiter(I think his name was Andy) was super friendly, patient, and EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE about the menu which helped us make a decision. I got a peach Bellini which is truly the BEST frozen drink I've ever had and we had calamari for an app. It was crunchy and delicious and came out in a timely manner. I wish I remembered what we got exactly, but the waiter suggested something that is no longer on the menu for my husband and we both loved our entrees! The server had a huge party next to us, but somehow managed to give us perfect service. Went there with my wife once. They had a paper covering the table on top of the table linen. I cut my finger on the edge of the paper trying to move my plate as the edge ended exactly at the edge of the table. I asked the waitress to remove the paper and what did she do? She moved the paper to the side a little bit so that the edge is not hanging out. What self-respecting restaurant (let alone one that claims to be an upscale restaurant) has paper on tables like that? Where did you get this genius idea? Are you saving money on laundry? Considering what you charge for your mediocre food I think you can afford to properly wash the table linens like just about every restaurant in the country! read more

This review is totally about the food. One word terrible! We went for a birthday celebration. Both my wife and I ordered Chicken Marsala. We both took one bite and had to summon the manager. Both pieces of chicken had a burnt chemical metallic taste. The manager offered to replace the entrees and expedite service. I ordered Shrimp Scampi. Very little shrimp and the sauce was watery with little or no flavor. My wife ordered Chicken Scaloppini. It was served with dry noodles and very little sauce. It was not worth complaining again we grabbed the check saw that we were not given any consideration on the cost of the meal. The manager finally came over and apologized about the Marsala stating they had a problem with the sauce. Hands down the worst meal I have ever had in my 65 years on this earth. Service was excellent and the food was pretty good. It was nice to have a low cal menu as an option and the blackened tilapia dish was perfect. The calamari had some great spices but a little much on the batter which made it a bit crunchy and almost seemed stale. Wanted to get it grilled vs fried which i have never encountered an issue with but was told the chef could try it but isnt sure how it will turn out. we decided to just get it fried and not risk it but that seemed a little silly. for dessert we had the chocolate lava cake or whatever its called and it was freaking great. prices were as you'd expect from a nicer lunch spot. i'd check it out again read more

Recently had lunch here and it was just ok. The house salad is a chopped salad but it was very dry. The Shrimp Scampi had too much red pepper flakes and four tiny little shrimp. The part that was frustrating was our waitress was so inexperienced! It was not crowded, we waited a long time for our salad and soup. Our lunch was brought out by another server and it looked like it had been sitting under warmers, the pasta was dry at the top from sitting too long. We had to ask three times for her to take our salad plate and soup bowls. She also left dinner plates after serving our dessert. Meanwhile, there's six cooks and one guy rushing servers to get the food out. Why have a ton of servers, but no one bussing dishes for the servers. Dessert was great! read more

I was craving some delicious Lasagna and ended up getting the manicotti With pepperoni and sausage I believe...it was ok nothing exciting. My fiancé got the chicken and vegetable pasta he ended up eating a few bites. I guess also not exciting. This review was based on take out food. Not too bad....I'm a sucker for Italian food so this might be biased, but this place was pretty good in my opinion. The lasagna they serve is huge and you can taste that the pasta was made in-house....however, other dishes include boxed pasta (ala, kraft, muellers, barilla, you get the point). Thats really where this place lost a star...but other than that, the food was excellent, wait staff was courteous, and the experience was nice overall. Fancy place but still welcoming if you happen to cluelessy walk in with tie-dye and gym shorts on..woops! Food is good quality but won't blow your socks off. I mean, it is a chain after all. I appreciate the atmosphere and service more than anything. Some reviews compared it to Olive Garden... I do not find the two places at all similar. Staff was great, we were there for appetizers and drinks and were running very late. I called an let them know and they held our table for our group of 8 and were friendly, quick and efficient in getting our orders in and back out. One of our favorite places to eat. Nearby shopping and movies. Focaccia bread and dip is a delicious (and free) starter. Martini Wednesdays at the bar; $5 off bottles of wine on Thursdays. Pasta Pomodoro is fresh and delicious, and one of my favorites. Good price range - flatbread pizzas, pasta, seafood entrees, etc. Be sure to add on an insalata della casa (house salad) as a good starter with the bread and dip. The spinach dip appetizer is really good too. Friendly, attentive waitstaff. Sit on the patio when the weather is nice and watch the shoppers stroll by. Went at 5 on a Friday night. They weren't busy at that point. Service was just ok. Nothing special. Bread with olive oil dipping sauce was great. We started with the calamari. It was bland, too rubbery and could have used more sauce. I had the chicken parmigiana and chopped salad. The lettuce in the salad was iceberg that had seen better days and the entree was lack luster. My sister had the veal and said it was ok but the pasta that came with it had zero seasoning. I don't think we will be back. The only reason we went there was because we had a gift card. And the restroom was dirty and I mean old gas station dirty. read more

Really good and in my experience very consistent. Good service and the food meets our expectations each time. The vibe is a little "uppity" but they've been accommodating with us and a toddler. They have excellent lobster ravioli and the lobster bisque is fantastic. We haven't had a bad experience here and I'd recommend for a very nice dinner experience while strolling through Eastwood. read more
