I'll preface this review by saying I went during happy hour, and that may heavily influence my opinions. Because I think the deals they have are just pretty damn good. Especially in today's economy, where are you finding a burger with fries for $8! They've got a few And their timings are great being 3-6pm weekdays. Held birthday party for mother in law in the private room for 20 people. Our server, Savannah, was extremely nice and did her best but she was not set up for success. 0 coworkers helped her. No one clearing dishes, no one delivering food. It was all Savannah. If they were short staffed I'd think a manager would step in to help. We tipped Savannah well because she stayed so positive as she tried to serve 20 people completely by herself, but the overall experience wasn't great. Went here with family because my parents like their food and it's fairly good. Although this time I had a really sad old fashioned. Definitely not worth the price. It kinda tasted like an old fashioned but really was sad. For instance instead of using the oil from the orange peel they just put two orange garnishes in the drink. Had the chicken scaloppine with linguine. The butter sauce was a bit heavy handed. Not sure if it was the kitchen or the wait staff but we had long periods of of waiting to be greeted at our table to being asked for drinks to appetizer, to entrees, and to wait for the bill. First time at Bravo Italian Kitchen for a work dinner. The food was okay felt like it needed more flavor for example the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfred was very plain and only had 4 shrimp which really bothered me since it was a pricer plate. The salmon looked very delicious and two out of the group said it was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor. For the desserts we had the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and the Caramel mascarpone cheesecake which was soooo good! They did run out of crème brûlée since it's there most popular dessert on the menu. The service was good and the ambiance was nice felt like you were in Italian haha. Overall if the food could improve in flavor slightly the reviews would go up with no problem. read more

Our family of 10 made reservations for 11 am at BRAVO! Italian Kitchen on Mother's Day to celebrate the occasion as well as a graduation with family traveling into town. Unfortunately, what should have been a joyful meal turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've ever had. After waiting nearly 2.5 hours without receiving our meals while watching surrounding tables be seated, served, and attended to, it became difficult not to question whether we were being treated differently. Our server rarely communicated with us directly, despite us overhearing explanations and updates being given to nearby tables about delays and kitchen backups. We were only served drinks and appetizers before spending hours waiting with no real updates, urgency, or effort to resolve the situation. As the wait stretched close to three hours, it became increasingly uncomfortable sitting there watching surrounding tables be seated, served, and checked on while our table remained ignored. Even staff members and nearby guests appeared aware something was wrong, yet no one stepped in to properly address the situation or communicate with us in a meaningful way. When we finally expressed concern about the excessive wait, our server was dismissive and unwilling to get management involved. We eventually had to approach a woman manager ourselves, but even then the situation was not properly addressed. On our way out she stopped us to say our food was almost done and suggested we have it boxed to go. At that point, after wasting almost three hours of our day and being on a schedule to travel home, we were forced to leave around 1:30 pm without ever receiving our meals. What makes this even more upsetting is that this was meant to be a special family gathering that included mothers, veterans, college graduates, and even a child we had to explain the situation to. Instead of ending our weekend together with a celebratory meal, we left feeling ignored, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. We would have preferred being told outright that they did not intend to serve us. We tried to make the best of it while waiting by playing phone games and staying patient, but no group should be made to feel invisible in a restaurant they made reservations for. We truly enjoyed our dinner at this location. We were sat right away and the server was prompt and nice. The restaurant was pretty empty, so there were a lot of seats available. The food was flavored well, and tested fresh. The bread and oil blend is always top notch. The only exception was the mashed potatoes were cold, so that was my only gripe. This is not a good review and I will keep it to the point. It gives me no pleasure to write a bad review, but I have to speak up. Seated at a bad location, we wanted to request different seating. Trying to flag him, our waiter did acknowledge us with a hand wave but went to serve others rather than talk to us. We were brought bread plates and dipping oil, but despite numerous reminders, the bread was not delivered until the end of the meal! Our drink orders were not completed until well into the meal. Food was palatable, but cool. A serious dining establishment will serve hot meals on heated plates. The girls in the party stopped in the restroom on the way out and reported a strong unclean odor. Terrible service. Lukewarm, mediocre food. Dirty facilities. I don't intend to return. If management sees this, I am writing a more detailed report to come after my return home. Came for Mother's Day. We had reservations for 8 but only 4 decided to show. The staff was very accommodating when advised of the change in guest count. The hostess was great. I got there 5 min past reservation time. I was seated within 5 min later at a smaller table for 4. Which was perfectly fine. Waitress Vicky was also great. Very patient as we waited for the rest of our party to come before we ordered. We received the Salmon Fresca and chicken spinach flatbread. Both were very delish. I loved Bravo 20 years ago when it came to Indianapolis. It was one of my favorites and I haven't been to one in many years. First off, it is a pretty good value compared to many restaurants these days. The happy hour drink and food prices are great before 6pm. The bread is not fresh, pools like a mini hot dog bun and lacks flavor. The dipping oil tastes weird. I had the lasagna and it's ok. Not great like I expected. The fried ravioli were likely frozen and microwaved. I would come back because of the excellent service and great prices. Maybe I'll try something else next time. Went yesterday for a take out order. It was disappointing that the first thing I saw when I opened the main doors into the foyer was a dirty floor , trash in the corners of the foyer room and dust everywhere. Also the glass doors were extremely dirty right by the door handles. The first thought I had was wondering how clean the kitchen would be considering the first thing I saw was a dirty floor and glass.. I placed my order with Aaliyah who was hosting. She was pleasantly friendly. I also noticed at the host station there was litter on the floor. 2 pieces of ripped paper that could have easily been picked up and not left until the end of the evening. The menus could haves used a wipe off as well , there were stains and fingerprints on them. As for the food. I ordered a pizza , salad, calamari and lasagna. All which I took home to eat there. The food tasted good and was well packaged. I just had in the back of my head images of a potential unclean kitchen so unfortunately I did not eat much . Components of my entree had garlic in them even though I had requested no garlic (I was not asked if this was an allergy or a preference - and important question these days). The "crispy potatoes" turned out to be fingerlings cut in half lengthwise and fried, but definitely not "crispy'. Wonderful time having dinner at Bravo! It was a busy night for dinner so we ended up eating at the bar to avoid the hour wait for a table. Even though the bartender was very busy, he was still gave us very attentive, quality service! This location seems to be busy so expect a wait or make a reservation before you come. The ambience at the bar was nice and they had a few cute Christmas decorations around the restaurant. The free bread and olive oil were great! The pasta dishes were nothing special, and they were a little colder than I like. This is not an authentic Italian restaurant but is good for a chain Italian restaurant. I grew up in New York City eating fantastic Italian food. I have to say this place was at about the same level as Olive Garden but more expensive. I had a salad with grilled vegetables. It was missing most of the orzo pasta and only had a few specs of it. To make it worse, the vegetables were all warm as was the lettuce (I expected them to be grilled earlier and to be cool). eating warm lettuce is not something I ever want to do again. But worse of all for me at least, was the choice of music in the restaurant which was from the 50's and 60's that my parents would have enjoyed, but not me (i'm 71), unless the patrons are 80 and above, know your audience when you're choosing music). It annoyed me so much I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. They also played some stereotypical Italian pop songs which made me even more pissed off. read more

I came here with my girl for the first time today expecting like an off brand Olive Garden but it was actually way better than I was expecting. We ended up getting the Margherita flatbread, two cups of soup (lobster bisque and Italian wedding), two drinks (white peach palmer and mango iced tea), and two entrees (fra diavolo and eggplant parm). There wasn't a single thing on that list that I wouldn't eat or order again. I was fully expecting to have to pack up the entree because of how much food we ordered but I ended up finishing everything because it was so good. Our waiter was pretty busy the entire time waiting a few other tables. They didn't have bread this day for some reason. No one said anything until we asked for it. Our waiter was so busy, he actually forgot to put our order in. Half an hour later, he came back to confirm what we ordered. While we were waiting, another waitress was getting ready to leave her shift. Maybe she had a drink before getting off? She was talking gibberish to herself while setting up a table. We visited bravo Italian kitchen The waterfront (Pittsburgh) on 7-7-25. We were part of a group, which is I am not including any pics. I did not want to draw attention. We had one server for approximately 30 people in a crammed in room for a pre-ordered lunch. It was about 45 minutes before the salad was served. I had visited bravo nutritional website prior to the visit as I have some dietary concerns. Several of their dressings contain raw egg, egg as an emulsifier salad dressings. I informed the waitress very early that I would need an egg, free or oil dressing. she informed me she would make a separate salad. when she arrives with the salads, she had not made a separate salad, and the salad appeared to have their egg based dressing. The salad appeared to be diced lettuce, mound that look like macaroni salad. I suspect this was done to use inventory of salad greens. Of course, I did not It looked disgusting. I haven't been to the Waterfront in years but was here to visit Bravo! as we were hosting a board meeting in their private room with some light appetizers. I didn't get to order off the menu, but if their apps and service in this room are a reflection of the entire restaurant then I'm impressed. They were incredibly accommodating keeping the food coming, refilling drinks and even letting us move around tables in a way that wasn't easy on our server. The table was ready for us and we were seated immediately. The place wasn't busy, maybe one full table in each of the sections. Our server deserves 5 stars- she was very attentive & quick, refilling drinks & delivering food efficiently but but that's where it went downhill. I ordered Shrimp Fra Diavolo and I was the only one in our party to be happy with my meal. My fiancé and I recently stopped at Bravo for an early lunch -- this location was not crowded at all and we nearly had the place to ourselves -- it was so nice! The service was great and their lunch combos are a lot of food for the price. My combo included one of their salads (my favorite!) and a lunch portion of the eggplant parmesan. First of all, if my eggplant was a lunch portion, I can't imagine how much is in a full dinner entree. So much food! I was expecting the typical cheap restaurant eggplant parm, but this was a lot better than that! The side of pasta was perfect too, and a nice change from just noodles drowning in marinara like most Italian restaurants will do.
