Their chicken sandwiches are good, but I always get a bowl with either chicken thighs or steak. They have excellent sauces and the food here is really good, albeit a bit on the saltier side. The clam chowder is nice and hearty. I also really like their drinks, including the strawberry rhubarb one and the lemonade.

The lamb and the duck treatment looked really good but I can get lamb or duck pretty easily, venison does not show up on many menus. So I figured I would cobble together an entree with biscuits, venison, and maybe a salad if I was still hungry. Starch, protein, veggie, check all the boxes. Biscuits were amazing, melt in your mouth flakiness.....mmm....duck fat biscuits....and then the venison...cooked absolutely perfectly with a cherry reduction and fried parsnip curls. All the tastes complimented each other, and the venison could not have been better. And I was still hungry, so I ordered the Asparagus & Snap Pea Salad. This was a little disappointing, but emphasis on the 'little', the tastes and textures were the same through-out, it was very fresh, and carefully prepared, but it just didn't work for me. Literally every bite tasted the same. That bite was tasty but it was a bit of a chore to work thru it.
