Bravos doesn't take reservations. We arrived at 7:15 pm with our party of 9. An incomplete party of 13 had just arrived before us. Hostess said that if we had our party already there, they would seat us, which we were. Instead, they seated the other party before us, as the remaining people from that party trickled in. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for the hostess to tell us that they were waiting for one table to clear so they can join tables together. All the while we watched them seat several other groups before us. We finally left without a measly apology for the wait. The price to eat here is not worth the wait and crappy service. Came here on a Saturday late evening (note-last seating is 30 min before closing time). There wasn't any waiting/line and we were seated immediately. From the time we got there to the time we left was 30 min, quick and efficient! Vintage red cushioned booths lining the walls, with the ability to have larger parties on wooden tables and chairs in the middle of the restaurant. Complimentary garlic knots to start, (unlimited) refills when requested, but we usually never go more than 1 refill. Food has always been consistent throughout the years. If you're looking for Italian food, that's done with different pastas, sauces and toppings, no frills about it, this is the place. Though the portions seem to be getting a little smaller, with them trying to hold the prices steady during these trying times. Big shoutout to our server, Keanu. He was very pleasant and accommodating. We had a little bit of pasta leftover, to which we got a clamshell takeout container for. When Keanu came back with the check, he also brought a container full of garlic knots for us to take home and even offered a soda for the road (my dining partner had ordered a soda and only drank half of it during our dinner). I was not expecting the latter part, pleasantly surprised, which pushed this to a 5-star review. Great experience! My husband and I both ordered the Seafood Harvest -- I had mine with fettuccine, and he had his with linguine. We also ordered a side of Alfredo sauce for the garlic knots, which was a great addition. The food was excellent, and our server, Nitedine, was outstanding. One dish was a little spicy for my husband, and when I asked for extra sauce to mild down the spice Nitedine brought it out quickly. The service was attentive from start to finish. I've been coming here since high school. The food is consistently delicious and we never had any issues until last week. My daughter is allergic to tomatoes. She ordered fried mozzarella and it came drowning in marinara. She was the only one who couldn't eat it and no one came to check in on us so we could order another one without sauce. The next time someone came by was to deliver our meals and they were in a rush. Or server didn't come by until we were half way done. Its a pretty old restaurant and you can definitely tell, floors are a bit sticky. A bit pricy and the food was just okay. Unlimited garlic knots were a plus and portions were pretty solid. Overall we mostly came because of the location and availability and it's good for a large group because they have a pretty large menu with something for everyone. However, about 10 years ago the retro decor was cool almost ok, but recently it is now screaming borderline neglect. The condition of the seats and what's barely hanging on to dear life of the decor is in a much needed deep clean or just remodel. During the last visit, the over powering cleaning products smell made the group question what was being covered up. Still great service and staff, smaller menu, but main staples are there. read more

They serve complimentary garlic knots, which were fresh and a great start to the meal. Headed to Bravo for dinner, excited to try their seafood risotto. I usually get their chicken fettuccine, but having enjoyed good risotto elsewhere, I thought I'd branch out and try it here, especially since it's an Italian classic. I mean, you expect an Italian restaurant to get Italian dishes right, right?! Arrived around 5 p.m., and it wasn't crowded at all, which was great. Came here with my daughter for an early valentine day dinner last night and it did not disappoint. Honestly not sure why I haven't been here in years but decided to come by on a whim since we were in the area. Service was amazing, our server was the best and was always refilling our drinks, bread and checking in on us. I think this was the best service I've had in a restaurant in a while. Bravos is one of my favorite restaurants on the island. Whenever we go to Pearl Bridge Shopping Center, 80% of us always want to go to Bravos to get a bite. I went with my family and boyfriend, this was the first time my boyfriend went there. The place wasn't that busy on a Thursday afternoon so the service was slow. And the place still looks the same as when I was a kid. The waiter brought us the butter and garlic rolls that everyone loves. We also had some crispy calamari, which was so good. Bravo's is akin to an Olive Garden, but with a more "diner" ambiance. Think, Italian Denny's with amazing bread rolls for starters. I'm not a huge fan of Italian, but I am not going to let that effect my review (almost gave it a 3). I had the chicken parm with spaghetti. It wasn't bad, but it didn't knock my socks off either. The bread rolls did though! Those were deliciously fluffy and garlicky. My gentleman friend got the ravioli and that was pretty good! The restrooms are clean and the staff is nice. Came right after opening for lunch and was seated immediately. It was quite busy and had lots of people having conversations. Garlic knots and water were brought quickly and then our server brought our order. I appreciated that they kept bringing garlic knots and weren't stingy with it. Garlic knots kept coming (yum!) as we waited for our food. I got the lunch special chicken parmesan, which is a smaller portion than the regular option. The food came out steaming hot and was definitely fresh. I enjoyed it as there was a lot of tomato sauce and the chicken was juicy. Spaghetti was cooked good. LATELY they have been making it with the perfect level of spiciness which I appreciate. We ordered take out from Bravos located near Pearlridge mall. The menu has so many options to choose from. I went with the eggplant parmigiana which was surprisingly very delicious except for the tomato sauce noodles only because the noodles were a bit overcooked and soft. We also ordered the chicken linguine and the seafood harmony pasta. Although I didn't try those, the portions looked generous and delicious. Bravos is also very known for the garlic knots that come with the meal. I love a bread when I eat pasta so it definitely hits the spot. I used to love this place after today. Even it if got very expensive I still try to at least 1 in 3mos order or eat here but after today, I won't be going back. I ordered chicken Alfredo with garlic sauce for take out. As soon as I got home, I started eating it and lucky that I decided to wear my glasses because I wanted to watch a show on my phone while eating. And there it was while I was scooping my pasta with mushroom and chicken, I found a small aluminum wire. I immediately called them and they gave me their manager. I explained the reason why I called for the second time and she said they'll refund me the amount of the pasta. And I said ok. That was nice but still if I didn't see that, I would've eaten that thing. They should be more careful when they're cooking because I don't understand how it got there. Ate here because the place I was intending to eat at was closed and reccomended this place instead. It was such a pleasant turn of events. The staff are all so friendly and attentive without being in your face. The ambience is lovely, its very spacious (especially for Oahu) but still feels cozy like a retro diner. Smells like fresh pasta when you walk in because the pasta is in fact fresh and made in house. We ordered the spinach ravioli and it was divine. Had to order dessert too -- we got icecream and it was so cute and delicious. Definitely coming back here with my friends, I feel like theres something on the menu for everyone and its quiet enough that you can hold a comfortable conversation but not so quiet that you feel listened to by your fellow diners. 5/5! read more

I've always thought of Bravo as my "Go -To Italian" restaurant. They aren't the super traditional Italian, but the food is good and consistent; and prices are great. The service is fast and friendly, but the most important thing about Bravo that always gets us, is that they are very very family friendly. It's hard to find this combination of qualities nowadays. Now they are also out "Go To Family Dining" spot as well. The inside is comfy and sorta out dated. But that's one reason why we feel comfortable walking in as a family with young children. It doesn't feel like the kids are going to break everything, and the place is noisy enough that no ice gets upset when a child is being a little on the loud side. It's barely noticeable. Lol. As always, my favorite dish is still the Cajun Chicken Fettuccine with Alfredo. No change there. My Husband loves the Seafood Pesto Pasta, and adds chicken to it too. Our daughter loves their Mac & Cheese, and our son is still finding his favorite dish. But although we usually always eat the same things, it never gets old. My three friends and I had dinner at Bravo Restaurant on a Monday, 2/19/24, at 5:30p. We started off with a basket of garlic bread that was nice and warm. My friend wanted the garlic rolls plain without butter and we got a basket of that also. We also asked for a side of butter for extra richness. Throughout our dinner we were always given a fresh basket that was appreciated. We ordered the Calamari, Shrimp, and Scallop Appetizer that came with shrimp cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. The appetizers were nicely fried and paired well with the dipping sauces. We also ordered the Chopped Salad and Caesar Salad to share amongst us. We enjoyed the blue cheese, salami, and chicken and red wine vinaigrette with the chopped salad. The Caesar salad adorned with Parmesan cheese also was a tasty bite. We all ordered our entrees. I selected the Jambalaya that came with chicken, shrimp, and sausage. My Jambalaya had a spiciness that was incorporated into the risotto that I enjoyed. I was surprised by the substantial amount of protein included in the risotto. It was a lot that I took the rest home for later. One of my friends enjoyed her Eggplant and Chicken Parmesan with Marinara sauce and pasta. My other friend loved her Eggplant Parmesan and spaghetti and Marina sauce. My other friend enjoyed her Shrimp Alfredo and pasta with a lot of sauce. Lastly, we ordered dessert. One friend ordered the Tiramisu and said it was light with a coffee and liqueur flavor that she enjoyed. The rest of us opted for the Spumoni sundae. The whipped cream added to the flavors of the Spumoni ice cream. All in all it was a great way to end our meal. Thus, we had great service and a delightful dinner. Had a large group of 18 on a Saturday night. The wait was less than 30 minutes. We had to sit in two different tables due to the number of guests we had. Unfortunately they couldn't separate the checks they said so good thing for Venmo. The service was quick and everyone got their correct order. The garlic knots were a bit overwhelming for me (too garlicky). My spaghetti and meatballs with Italian sausage had green bell peppers. That was different. Tasted good though and the servings are huge. Had to take home leftovers. Last part was a trip to the rest room. It was dirty and the toilets were black porcelain. Looked so scary! So glad I waited until after my meal to use the restroom. Needs a major renovation and please get white porcelain toilets. read more

I've loved Bravo's garlic balls since the early 2000's. They are perfectly garlicky and warm. I love them so so so much, even though they make me stink afterwards. They are now like garlic buns but the taste is still amazing. I will always come back to Bravo for the garlic ball buns. BUT the food you order and pay for generally isn't very good. I haven't found a dish there that I really enjoy. They are mostly just meh. I do really like the Bravo club they have at lunch time though. This visit, I should have ordered the club. But I wanted to try something different, so I got the linguini with clams lunch special. I didn't expect it to have so much liquid in it? Usually it's an oil sauce and no so soupy. The taste was kind of bland. One of the 4 clam shells didn't have a clam. I had a bite that was sandy. The pasta was overcooked. But I guess it was edible after I sprinkled tons of Parm and salt in. I did have my garlic buns to save my meal!! I had a bite of my husband's chicken Parmesan. Much better tasting. Maybe I'll get that next time. Or I'll just stick to my club. Service was great though!
