The highlight of our meal was the freshly mixed guacamole made at our table. Delicious! Definitely worth the price of admission. A good selection of Mexican beers on draft. And the tacos were good, both the Tacos de la Calle and Tacos al Pastor. Social distancing restrictions were followed and in place, we arrived when there weren't as many folks and that was good. We stopped by for appetizers and drinks on our date day. They are short staffed currently, which isn't unusual, but only about 1/3 of their seating was open. Once we were seated the service was quick and very good. We ordered beer on tap and queso fundido and the top shelf guac. The queso fundido was very good and full of flavor. We ordered the guacamole to be made in a standard way. It was pretty bland. Needed some garlic and salt. So I like this place, generally speaking, but the Monday Night Fajita Night Special has turned me into one of those old people who goes to the same restaurant on the same night every week. But I don't regret it! The food quality is on point. As good or better than any Mexican restaurant in Tulsa at a good price. The service is excellent! I had eaten at Bravos four other times. The food quality and overall experience was decent, but I thought the food was overpriced for the quantity. Since it was Cinco de Mayo, someone suggested getting a go order. (attached picture). I order, wait about ten minutes and then drive all the way to Bravos. Understandably busy, hectic, wait several minutes for someone to talk to. "Oh, your order has been cancelled." Another guy was told the same thing. Knowing that my guests were hoping for Mexican, I waited longer to be recognized to see if I could order now. "Uh, it would be at least two hours before we could have your order". Bravos was very nice in appearance on the inside and out. We were seated quickly and with a smile to boot! My wife took advantage of the Yelp Check In special and loved the fresh made guacamole at the table. The gentleman that made it really seemed to enjoy doing so and took great pride in the final product. I had a simple chimichanga but forget I had to tell them I wanted it deep fried. I still prefer fried but the soft version they served was lighter and very delicious. They used SOOOO much cheese! The refried beans were smooth and flavorful as was the mexican rice. Order pick up once and went in to dine right before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Really good and fresh Mexican food in an more upscale atmosphere, but with prices remaining more than reasonable. I'm a salsa verde fanatic, so for pick up I had the Enchiladas Suizas, which were covered in lots of it. It was really good. Balance of savory and sour brightness. It normally comes with a side salad, but I requested a substitution for some elote. My big surprise was when they gave me both a huge side salad and a generous portion of elote. For dine in, I got a better chance to view their menu and was on the fence with several options. Really wanted to do the chicken in a pineapple, or the Molcajete, but they seemed like a bit too much food for the moment. Instead I went with the Bravo special, which came with steak, chicken, an enchilada, along with the standards beans and rice. It was great. Good variety and a great tasting menu. My wife got a dish that was basically a large portion of fundido, which is meat and melted cheese. Definitely something I'd consider the next time. This place also makes fresh tortillas and offers table side guac. Staff was super friendly. Very accommodating with the kids, even bringing their meals out first. Guac: 5/5 Queso: 5/5 Salsa: 4/5 (I added salt when I got home, personal preference) Chicken Quesadilla: 2.5/5 (it was greasy, soggy tortilla piece, chicken was great. Mediocre but filling.) My first time here. My mum comes here for lunch frequently. We ordered the lunch portion of chicken fajitas and were both replete. Comes with beans, rice, pick, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Everything was hot and cooked to perfection. The chips and salsa were delicious. I don't do spicy or cilantro, the salsa was great, not spicy and very little cilantro. It is your classic Mexican menu, but everything was fresh and full of flavor. The service was excellent. This place surprised me. Most Mexican restaurants are basically the same, tortillas, a protein, beans,rice,etc. Pretty good but basically interchangeable, you barely know which one that you are in. Bravos first impression is VERY clean. Thin tortilla chips were set on the table with individual servings of tasty salsa for each diner. I requested some hot sauce expecting a bottle of chalua or something similar, instead the waiter brought out a trio of hand made hot sauces on a platter. Each was good, but the red one added to the salsa brought it to the perfect heat! Our party ordered a variety of dishes and all were excellent. My order of Chori-Pollo was especially good. Flattened grilled chicken with cheese and chorizo. Served with excellent retried beans and rice. The presentation is not your normal Mexican restaurant style of just throwing everything on the plate, it was more like a fine dining presentation. The waiter didn't really have any personality, but his service was excellent. Even the Iced Tea was excellent! read more

I have personally hosted Baby Showers, Birthdays, and Bachelorette parties at this location. Just make sure you give them a heads up and they will get you taken care of! When I call in an order over the phone, as I've done many times before, I understand things may not be heard, but my order was repeated back to me, and when I came into the restaurant at 445pm on Saturday July 31, 2021 I ran into a situation that was not handled well... My order was completely incorrect, the guy who tried to take my payment (I should have gotten his name) didn't even ask what I had, he just sat the paper bag in front on me.. I luckily looked at the receipt and saw the order was COMPLETELY wrong, I explained the situation and I got a shrug and a receipt to pay the amount for the food I didn't even order. Disgraceful. Your food is delicious, but I'll NEVER be back. I've spent so much money at your establishment and this was just a slap in the face. Not sure about what happened with these negative reviews- this place was great! I used my check-in for the free guac: fantastic start. Then, asking for spicy salsa yielded me not one but three varieties to taste- all delicious! I played it safe with ordering fajitas, and was surprised with the amount of meat I received despite being perhaps the cheapest fajitas in town (and learned I can get them for only $6.99 on Mondays!) I had to ask for more tortillas and chips just to enjoy everything! I also tried a house margarita with their own sour mix, which was quite reasonably priced and certainly hit the spot. To top it off, the owner made sure to introduce himself and even let me try and order of bacon rice they had been experimenting with. I ended up with a delicious meal, a drink, leftovers x2, and only spent $20. Despite living in broken arrow with several great Mexican restaurants in my "backyard", I suspect I'll be returning often! read more

Read the reviews and had high hopes but my experience was different. The special margarita came with barley enough ice to chill it and was watery with no taste. I realized I would not drink it and told the waiter. He quickly took it away and off the bill but did not try to replace in any form. I had the queso fundeo which was the highlight of the meal. It is heavy on the chorizo so be aware-- not a complaint just saying a limited amount of cheese. It was hot, seasoned with sausage and peppers. It would have been enjoyed more if it hadn't been brought on the same tray and at same time as my entree. The entree consisted of a tamale which was well prepared. This is not Tex-Mex so expect food that is mild and light on the seasoning. Also had a fair chile relleno and a enchilada that was well wrapped. The chips were thin, crisp and fresh. The salsa was fresh tasting but again no peppers or even a hint of heat. read more
