The best pizza hands down! The crust is my favorite. Crispy and delicious. Philly steak is the closest to a true Philly I've found local.

We eat here weekly, and sometimes twice a week (I'm busy). My kids love the pizza (thin, NY style) and bacon-cheese fries. I love the salads and the sandwiches. The buffalo chicken salad is great, and I switch between the tomato mozzarella sandwich (Which could just use some balsamic to make it a true caprese) and the Philly cheesesteak. Fries are an extra $.99, hardly anything. Totally an awesome find in Wendell!! And they deliver for $1.50, cheapest delivery around. Good food and really nice people. Sometimes a little slow because demand is high for decent food in this small town. They'll deliver your food to the Beer & Wine shop next door too, and you can eat it there if you'd fancy a beer. They have Miss Pac-man and a couple of other arcade games. Absolutely the worst customer service imaginable. You walk in and stand patiently as there are no other customers in the restaurant (should have paid attention to this) and the 2 patrons behind the counter never acknowledges your presence. I had to ask for cups while the alleged waitress stayed on phone. Avoid at all costs. read more

I love downtown Wendell! It's a cute downtown area. We were looking for a place to eat and saw the reviews of Bravos pizza on yelp and thought we would check it out. The place has a few old arcade games which are fun while you wait for your pizza. The pizza though was undercooked and not the best that I've had. It's probably worth going there again in the future. I just got a new job in Wendell so I've been enjoying exploring downtown. So many great businesses! I got off work on a Friday night and walked down to Bravos to grab a couple pizzas to take home to my family. They were very busy (the phone was ringing off the hook!) but I was still greeted by friendly employees when I walked through the door. I ordered two xl pizzas: cheese and pepperoni. They were done in a reasonable amount of time and I took them home. The whole family went nuts over the pizza. We love NY style and have been missing it since an incident at our usual pizza spot (Primos in Clayton- a friend found a live roach in her drink cup-YUCK). I'm so glad to have found this gem and know that I'll be back regularly! read more

Fantastic is an understatement for Bravos. They are the best at service during the pandemic and continue to provide the best pizza around.

Had to get work done on my car, restaurant was in walking distance. Never heard of them, figured I'd give them a try. Glad I did, the food is amazing. I dined in, host was kind and professional. I had a garden salad with grilled chicken and a spicy shrimp pasta dish with bread. I'll definitely be returning here again! read more

Pizza is ok, I've had much better but it's not terrible. I entered the establishment and said hello. Cashier did not answer. When I repeated my greeting the young man looks down and says hello. Based on his interaction with others in the store I do not believe he is on the spectrum. I'm not sure why he was so angry. I sit down to wait for my order and when my meal was ready, the young man drops my pizza in a to go box, leaves in open, and instructs a young lady to "take that to her". The young lady had an expression on her face indicating that his behavior was unacceptable. Customer service skills go a long way. Don't think I will be returning as there are numerous other pizza shops I can patron. I enjoy supporting family owned business but will not support any location with ill-mannered people on the front line. BTW, the young lady he ordered to provide me with my meal was very nice. read more

The previous reviewers were right- this place is awesome. My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch with our kids and they were so accommodating. We loved the food- steak & cheese, spicy shrimp pasta and pizza- sooo delicious. Everyone was so nice and let our son play the video games. I did not know that this little pizza shop exist until my best friend mentioned it after going to the bank. The food is delicious and for a pizza that was an extra large (13.99), and calzones (7.99) it was worth the money to spend. Large portions, and fresh ingredients=yum! First time there since previous owners. Was pleasantly surprised. My wife had the lunch special, New York Style Pizza by the slice: 2 slices and a drink $4.99. I had Philly Cheese Steak , Fries and a drink. Everything was very good. We will be back again. They also deliver, which is a plus. read more

This is a step up from Primo's Pizza, which used to be here. The personal pizzas and salads are amazing, mostly because there are a lot of fresh toppings to choose from. Seriously, they have everything from beets and avocados to feta and sausage. They make their mozzarella and sandwich bread fresh in-house. I recommend the california chicken salad, which can be made into a sandwich or wrap. I've also heard that the buffalo chicken pizza is great. Just don't order a slice, which was bland, and I gaurantee you'll like anything you order. read more

My wife and I have been going to Bravos long enough to form an opinion. When we 1st started going there the slices were wider and over-all thicker. The. N.Y. style of a thin crust and thin slices leaves a lot to be desired. If its too thin to it almost breaking apart, its too thin. This pizza is overkill thin. Its a way to save dough and sell it as ' N.Y. style '. Yes, I will say it. I am from ' up north ' where after living in N.C. for 12 yrs, have yet to find a pizzeria that sells those really good pizzas. ( I know oh boy here we go ) lol. I notice there is a pattern. We have found if we go there between 12:00 and 1p.m., our pizza comes out after others who came in there noticably after us. They get served 1st. What we get is burnt and very thin. You can smell the 'burn' coming off of it. That's what I recall learning as a term when I worked in a pizzeria. Pizzeria service regarding the consistency of delivering good ' pies' should not be determined on how busy a place is. My wife refused hers as this happened before. I came close to doing the same. The owner ended up bringing my wife her new pizza. This time also without the burnt broccoli on it. The replacement looked more like we were used to. Funny, in looking around, no one else had burnt pizza like our 1st. The owner told my wife " If you do not want your slices on the dark side, what you should do is say you'd like your slices on the light side and I will make to order." Sorry, that's a bunch of nonsense. They were burnt black crusty hard. We never went there before instructing how to make our pizza. Never had to. Good pizzerias now how long the standard time is to warm up an already cooked slice or 2. Since I couldn't have my wife being sold this story by him. I pointed out that we usually don't have a problem here and when its busy, we notice our slices comes outlast and burnt. He really didn't respond and just smiled softly and walked away. Nearly 15 minutes for 2 slices each of pizza is way too long. He didn't make ours fresh, he just had to warm up existing slices. Imagine if a pizzeria had to warm up or make multiple slices or complete pizzas based on everyone's seperate preferences. That's just silly. What happened was, we got forgotten about and our stuff got burnt. Sorry its our money. Send it back. Its happened too much before and now its time to move on. Cant trust it anymore. The waitress is very nice though. I heard there is a pizzeria coming to Zebulon in Town. We are going to try that. In hopes to find our true good consistent slice of pie !!. read more
