Though my two lunch mates for this first time eating here live in Arvada, only one had been here before. I know I've seen it many times over the years but never wandered in - glad we did, it was great! I'll cut to the chase, love the menu, it's a very full American mainstay menu of breakfast and lunch choices (probably dinner too I just didn't pay attention), plus beer, cocktails etc. I had chicken fried chicken breast with country gravy and eggs, it was a huge serving, very tasty and I think only about $12.00. All the prices were very reasonable. Great friendly attentive service, they were being very thorough cleaning every touched menu before reusing, social distancing in place, etc etc. It's a big multi room space and the currently enclosed outdoor space is big and very pleasant seating, I like seeing street life when dining! Went here Saturday for a late breakfast. My sister recommended it to us and I'm so glad she did! Service was great, I didn't catch our servers name but she was a blonde with a ponytail. Covid has kept us all away from restaurants for way too long. Came to Arvada from Albuquerque to visit a friend. Wanted to take her out to breakfast and she recommended Breadwinners. We were able to sit out on the patio which suited us just fine as we are still a bit Covid shy. The tables were well with in the social distancing guidelines and all wait staff was wearing masks. I ordered a Mimosa and my friend had a Bloody Mary. Yummy! I tasted my friends Bloody Mary and it was nicely spiced. Not too over peppered as most places tend to do. I will definitely be ordering one next time I come. My friend and I both ordered Eggs Benedict. I had traditional and she had some other thing. I always order my eggs over medium and that was exactly what I received. The hollandaise sauce was flavorful and not over sauced. Our male friend who joined us ordered the corned beef hash. It was for sure home made. Shredded corned beef! Needless to say we all cleaned our plates and left sated with our great breakfast. Our wait person was very attentive and friendly. Visiting from outta town and we're extremely pleased with our 'splurge' vacation breakfast. Started with a blueberry short stack appetizer and they were delicious best cakes we've had in a long time and perfect amount of fresh blueberries. The. breadwinners cafe is a great place to have breakfast and they also have sandwiches so it's also a perfect place for brunch. they have a happy hour mon-fri from 12:00-2:00pm so naturally we had to order a mimosa. We also ordered a strawberry margarita and it was absolutely delicious and flavorful. we order the "hungry man" breakfast and also toast and green chili on the side and the green chili was absolutely BUSSIN. and the prices were also very reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get. overall a great brunch place :)) read more

So he managed to choke down a few of bites of cold english muffins under soft basted eggs and warm holli sauce & he picked off the bacon. You can imagine that cool eggs on Cold english muffins covered in warm sauce, a dining experience we would Not wish on anyone :/ minus 1 star - uncooked dish I told our server about the cold muffin experience and our server said he'd remove the charge. When our bill arrived the cold meal was on the tab?? What? When we questioned the charge we were told they removed the first order from our bill (which was a mistake by server or kitchen as far as we know) and because he "ate" half we should pay for the experience of eating cool eggs on cold english muffins. minus 1 star - charged for cold food Besides waiting to be seated, we waited an hour and a half "trying to eat breakfast" and pay to leave, so we could go find a meal. minus 1 star - still hungry plus 1 star - liquor (Good thing) this place serves drinks or our one brunch together per week would have been a total waste. plus 1 star - attitude our server was polite and attentive and apologetic & we tipped him We will give this place the benefit of the doubt and try it more than just once, but not until the taste of this experience wears off. read more

I found myself in the area, and after a quick search for breakfast places decided this was where I wanted to be. The service was good, and the Colorado Eggs Benedict was very tasty. This had bacon, mushrooms, caramelized onions, smoked cheddar and basted eggs, topped with hollandaise. Indeed, this was some of the best hollandaise sauce I've had for a very long time. The potatoes on the side were fine. They were prepared as a small, well cooked, dice. Nothing was especially interesting about them, but they made a decent side. Prices were fair. I love this place, it just can't give it a 5 star review. Let me explain... The atmosphere is great, the service is exceptionally friendly and the food is fine. Atmosphere- down home, great for families, very hospitable. The culture and feel of this place keeps bringing us back. I do have to say that the patio with the astroturf, smells bad. It's weird, but we have been here twice and it just smells bad! Service- they people who work and run this place are gold. They are so great with kids and are very kind! You will always have a full cup of coffee and they do their best to make sure you are not kept waiting, even when it is busy. This place is very friendly! Food- the first time I went here I ordered the eggs Benedict. I couldn't believe the English muffin was cold and it made the whole meal mediocre. Next time I would probably just ask them to toast and butter the English muffin, but that's definitely something that should be a standard. Their pancakes oddly taste like canned vanilla frosting- not saying it's a bad thing, but worth noting. The second time I went, I got the veggie omelet with potatoes. It was good, nothing out of this world, but good. Overall the food is fine, very reasonably priced and we have never had to wait for a table. Couldn't have asked for a cuter Saturday than having a late lunch with the fam at Bread Winners. It came recommended and did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and the restaurant itself is adorable. I ordered the honey salmon hash, husband ordered the corned beef hash, and daughter decided to forgo the hash trend and eat french toast. Everything was awesome, but the salmon has was really exceptional. Perfectly cooked eggs. Coffee is good but very strong. That works for me, but not everyone, so be aware. This place is a gem in Old Town Arvada. They do not take reservations so expect a 20-30 minute wait. But after you try the amazing dishes, time doesn't matter. We started with a Bloody Mary for the birthday girl and mimosas and coffees, while we looked over so many delicious options. Meals the five of us ordered; blueberry pancakes, honey salmon hash, breakfast sandwich, crispy chili rellenos with eggs, and Colorado Benedict. All dishes were superb which made for a lot of "you have to try this" and passing bites to one another. Pricing in this economy was very reasonable since three off us had to get takeaway containers. Our server was exceptional and even brought saltines to the table for a hungry, almost toddler, before the adult dishes were ready. Bathrooms were pristine. Yes I do a judge a restaurant on cleanliness. They passed my white glove test. There is an interesting history to this building. If you ask they can provide a book about the location with photos and newspaper clippings. The original building was a gas station in the 1920's. We are definitely coming back again. read more

Said it was very tasty. $4 each is a smoking deal for the kids meals. They got a couple pieces of bacon and either some French toast or a pancake and milk. The only downside to any of this is parking. Be prepared to park a couple blocks away and walk most of the time, as olde town is a pain in the ass for parking. Gluten feee heaven!!! This was our favorite breakfast spot in Denver while visiting. Located in downtown Arvada it has the cutest little patio. We ate here 3 days in a row, I guess you could say we're officially addicted haha. With $3.50 mimosas you can't beat the prices! I had the gluten free French toast and it was freaking AMAZING. Had family in town so they were the Guinea pigs too. The restaurant is very cute located in old town Arvada. It was decorated very nice, was clean and organized. For the quantity of food and the price I give them 4 stars but the rellenos had a surprising amount of cheese on top, and the chicken fried steak came with both potatoes and toast so the toast went to waste and the potatoes were unseasoned cubes. They're frou frou with the cocktails (what's a michaelada and why do we have to ask our server to find out?) The hostess also took our number but neither called nor texted. That didn't stop her from claiming she did after we'd waited nearly an hour, and she still seated another party before us (who overheard the exchange and offered to step aside.) For Mother's Day, my daughter and I decided to explore Olde Town Arvada. We didn't have any set plans on where to eat and so we started looking for restaurants with good Yelp reviews. We came across Breadwinners and decided to give it a try. So glad we did!!! We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but, it was worth it We had the lemon blueberry pancake I think I could have ate a whole stack!!! So good!!! We also ordered the green chili omelet. That was also delicious It was served with potatoes and toast. Let me just say it was really really good!! The service was good and staff was friendly. First of all I have to say our waiter was amazing! This was my first time here. My daughters have been there a few times. If it had not been for the waiter I would not think of going back. If you're a brunch fan, this is the place to go. It is a quaint, little house-type of restaurant that is not only adorable, but also has a great selection of items on the menu and superb service. There was a 10 minute wait for our table, so we sat at the bar and were greeted with friendly conversation from the bartender. As we waited, I noticed all the cute little signs and decor throughout the restaurant. When we were seated, I immediately was drawn to the stuffed French toast with berries on the menu....
