The Tejano Caesar zeppelin with chicken and caesar dressing was delicious. I visited a different location a while back and got a make your own salad in a bowl, but I would definitely recommend getting the zeppelin for the full experience. They scoop out a warm fresh roll and leave a thin delicious crust with just the right amount of crunch. I can't wait to eat there again. Probably tomorrow. read more

Such a simple idea that taste so great. Not really a sandwich but yet it is. So much better because the bread is great with the insides taken out to make room for the salad combination you just chose. They have great suggestion or you can be as creative as you desire. 1st time, choose one of the suggestions. You will love it. Very simple place, almost minimalist. The place is so awesome. I never eat inside though it's always packed at lunch. The sandwiches are so good and the bread it amazing! It's a neat concept to put a sandwich shop it up and stuff in inside a Italian bread. If you do want to ear inside come after lunch and bring your patience at lunch it's always a zoo! read more

Ugh, can't get enough of this place! Been here a few times and always trying something different and never disappointed. I love the freshness of the food and quality. As a busy business owner in the 'hood, I find their lack of convenience-mindedness a major negative, especially when all the other restaurateurs are looking for a competitive advantage. I decided to check this place out cause i loved how you could make your own salad bowl. Their veggies and toppings looked fresh and clean. Except the kale had some weird smell to it which I don't usually smell when I eat a kale salad. They also have lots of dressings to choose from and you could ask to taste some before you choose (they will give it to you on a piece of bread). The portions are larger than it seems; I wasn't able to finish mine. Overall it's a good place to go when you're looking for a healthier lunch/dinner choice. read more

This unique concept is not only good but also quick. There was a long line but it went quick. I had the Washington Apple salad in the bread and it was good. I give this place 5 stars for food and 1 star for service, so a 3 overall. I love their food, but I have never seen staff consistently be so slow. In fact, I describe the service as "slow casual" as opposed to "fast casual." I have come on various days and at various times with various employees working but every time it surprises me how slow they are. Sometimes the restaurant is empty and staff members are just hanging out behind the counter and I still wait around for someone to notice my salad and start cutting it up! Also, they used to wash the workspace for every new customer, and I'm disappointed they now make the sandwiches on the same workspace without cleaning in between. I really like their salads and zepplins but they make it incredibly hard to get a lunch order quickly. My office is right down the street and usually 4-5 of us will order lunch together. Today we attempted to call the order in ahead of time at 11:00AM for a 12:00PM pick up and they said the could NOT take a call in order but oh they weren't busy. Stopped in when I realized this place was open in Plano now too. I had a great experience at the fist location in Las Colinas and this one is even better. The space is bigger and can accommodate a larger crowd which is will be really helpful once everyone realizes this location is open. The staff is friendly and really helpful for people who are first timers. I highly recommend trying the Zeppelins, my favorites are the Plymouth Rock and Atlantis. Great healthy option for lunch or dinner and the cookies are also a nice surprise. read more

Wow, I wish I knew the owner to contact. I called in an order on Sunday and arrived about 5 minutes after I had called. I spoke with one of the two ladies working an was told to wait. The line was about two to three people with others arriving steadily. After about 10 people and 20 minutes passed. I asked about my order. The older lady said they were really busy and hoped to get to the order soon. Another 5-10 people went through and I was aggravated. It had been 45 minutes and my order I had called in was ignored. The older lady had a smile and a snicker and kept helping others. I truly felt sorry for the younger lady, she was embarrassed and told me she was only doing what she was told and told to ignore ALL TO GO ORDERS and keep the line moving. This is unacceptable, rude and truly sad to see the older lady/manager put the younger worker in an uncomfortable position. read more

I recently had a NOLA zepplin from here. The bread had a good texture and the ingredients were fresh. Overall, fun concept and enjoyable meal. However, the attitude of the staff (aloof, annoyed, condescending) totally took away from the experience and the music was a bit loud. I felt like my order was an imposition on the staff and I was happy to leave to enjoy my zepplin elsewhere. I'll definitely go back for another to-go order, but will probably order online. read more

Absolutely nothing to dislike about this place. An absolute once a week type of place.

First time and will not be the last time. I had the Washington State but changed the greens to a mixture of kale and spinach. Had the cranberry poppyseed vinaigrette. The order took four or five minutes and was well worth the long wait (being somewhat facetious after reading some of the other sour puss comments). Subway has always been my number one sandwich to go place but now it has moved to number two. Wish there was a Bread Zeppelin closer to home. The reason for four stars instead of five is because of 1) I hate eating with a plastic fork which was necessary for some of the stuffing that came out of the Zeppelin and 2) the atmosphere of the sit down dining area is a little bit cold. I will be recommending this sandwhich shop to all of my friends. read more

This is a great place to get a quick healthy lunch, think subway but in salad form, (which you can also get a sub with all the stuff you pick but they call it something else), it was pretty tasty but nothing out of the ordinary, you can try the dressings on a piece of bread if you don't know what kind to get. They chop up the salad which is exactly what takes it to another level. I do wish that they could label the dressings whether they are dairy free, oil free or vegan friendly. Some of the info is on the website but it's not super extensive and it would be better to have it there. Also I felt like they don't give you a lot of the toppings, I didn't get any meat with mine but they barely put any beans in there, just a small scoop. It was more lettuce than anything. It is a little pricy for a salad but like j said it is a good option for on the go healthy, i probably would happily pay for that more frequently if the ingredients were organic. read more

Very disappointed. Ordered the Southwest Chicken salad through foodsby. Received it and there was no chicken. I called the store directly to get it resolved and they said there was nothing they could do and simply apologized for the "lack of chicken". Mind you I had already paid for this salad. So they also told me, I would need to contact foodsby directly for a refund. SOOOO not only am I SOL on the food, I now have to figure out how to get a refund. I would NEVER order here again. Not because the error with the salad, but because Jordan or Alberto could not offer an actual solution to THEIR error of forgetting the chicken LIKE A NORMAL RESTURANT. Alberto said they are not perfect and that he could make a new salad but could not deliver it. IF I could come pick up the new salad, I am pretty sure I would have been able to pick up the first one and not ordered with Foodsby. BUT because I could not pick it up, I odered with Foodsby so me coming to pick up a new one is out of the question. I am very unhappy and will not order here again. They did not seem to care anyways. I said I would not order again and was told, "Okay, thank you for that information". Again, instead of giving a solution. read more

Sad, I loved this restaurant for a long time. The quality has gone down recently though. Today's visit was my last, at this location, anyway. The employees were unaware that customers are those you speak to and help serve food to. They seemed at times completely zoned out, and did not make any effort towards customer service. At one point one went to the kitchen in search of chicken for one of my sandwiches, and instead of starting on another sandwich, the other TWO employees just stood there. In addition, the area where food was needed to be cleaned; seeing a rubber glove hanging out in a food bin was not appetizing. My eventual salad chopper seemed to question the color and freshness of the salad dressing, but then shrugged and used it anyway. Finally the cashier at the end of this long and bizarre journey said only the bare minimum and seemed to be mad that we'd come in to eat there. read more
