Breakers Cafe is nestled in the middle of the Woodside shopping plaza... easy to miss if you aren't looking for it! Once you wander inside, you'll be greeted by the very friendly staff and quickly enamored with the hand painted art that graces the walls. Breaker's menu has a delightful variety of foods and drinks, so the options to tickle your tastebuds are only limited by your imagination! Each dish is full of flavor and made hot to order. I really only have two main gripes about this place. Firstly, I've visited a total of 3 times and each time I have come in, I find the portions to seem smaller and smaller. I shouldn't be leaving feeling hungry for the price point of each dish. Secondly, although the staff is extremely friendly, I've noticed at least twice (two out of three visits) we've had to repeatedly ask to get something brought to the table... Most recently, I asked for vanilla creamer for my coffee three times over the span of a 20 minute period when we were only one of three occupied tables in the whole restaurant. Yikes. All in all, I do enjoy coming to Breakers but I'm starting to debate if it's truly the best bang for my buck.

My favorite local breakfast spot. The staff are so friendly, and the food is simple but delicious. The menu has a lot of options to choose from. A must have is the buttermilk pancakes. I'm not sure why, but Breakers has the best pancakes ever!

This is one of the better breakfast spots in Redwood City. Chicken fried steak with crispy hashbrowns was delicious. The steak packed a lot of flavor and the gravy added delight to every bite. I added a pancake, but I was sadly disappointed with it compared to the other items. It wasn't light and fluffy, so I would not order it again. Not shown was the white toast, which was extra toasted and buttery. I ate it all because it was the first item to arrive and I was very hungry. I would ask for lightly toasted if I were to order again. The breakfast sandwich was nicely assembled. It had nice flavor and the bread tasted like it was an upgrade compared to the white toast that came with the chicken fried steak. The fruits provided a refreshing ending to the meal. This place can get very busy for breakfast. Service was attentive and quick. Ambiance is casual.

The place feels so nostalgic. This place is a diner and a cafe mixed into one. There are a lot of pictures and the drinks are great. Remind me of a western 1980s bar. I ordered the ice mocha and it was delicious. The people here speak Spanish. Lovely bunch of people!

Favorite White Chocolate Mocha around, love popping into this place any chance I get. Their breakfast options are all incredible but the FrenchToast is my favorite by far. Thick and with that perfect sugary glaze, a must order if your into sweet breakfasts!! There always so kind and fast service too, love this little gem in Redwood

Great place! We got the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros, both were delicious. I also got the zebra mocha which was amazing. I expressed concern before ordering it with how sweet it would be, and the barista reassured me that it wouldn't be too sweet, and then checked in with me again to confirm it wasn't too sweet after leaving it with me for five minutes. The staff was attentive and courteous, and very quick to grab anything we requested. Ambiance was great, I loved the mural that covered one of the walls, and really enjoyed the warm feel to the place!

A super thoughtful crew who know how to make a really good tea and I'm sure coffee as well.! As summer approaches, longer days, I believe they will find it will be necessary to implement some structure around the seating Because, we found there are campers on a Friday evening, there were two young women not together and each taking a large table. ,8pm with their laptops open and only a beverage , there was a line of people people searching for tables I would suggest or some sort of signage that they could share a table, not necessarily sit on top of each other, but on opposite sides with an empty seat in front of them, two (strangers) people at one table with two or four chairs. It's not uncommon practice. In cafés. What was happening was that groups of four were having to share tables for two squishing in, I just thought it was a little thoughtless of those two customers to keep their heads down, and they knew precisely what was going on around them, people were giving up tables and shifting around, and neither of them moved or offered to share. There's a polite way to manage those kinds of situations. Or signage on tables. I saw a group of four guys walk out because there was nowhere to sit that would've been a substantial tab There's a way to make people mindful of that included there were other locations for these two individual people to move. Since their heads were in their laptops, sitting across from a stranger, would've been like being at the library anyhow where we do share tables. I noticed there was a seat on the sofa side, or they could've shared a table It would have left two large tables available for people who were in line, groups of people who were in line Something to think about to the owners of Sana! I could see the frustration in the faces of the people waiting.

My only recommendation would be that you use less chemicals and Lysol in your cleaning throughout the day. We all love a place that's definitely sanitized and clean and safe to eat at, but I also want to walk in a place like this and smell chocolate and cinnamon, coffee and smell yummy food. Only thing, The first scent when you open the door is cleaning solution. There's a lot of like a Lysol type smell and it's really overwhelming throughout the place. You don't get like that warm cozy sense it's a little cafeteria cleaning Lysol Scent. Which we all appreciate!! let's be clean! but maybe do an air purifier or space it out don't use so many chemicals throughout the day. , but do your main chemical clean in the morning and at closing. I was just here the other day and the cleaning solution sent was a little overwhelming Overall, the customer service is outstanding the ambience, outstanding the food, and the coffee and the Mexican style mocha is outstanding.

I also got the 3 Cheese Grilled Sandwich (~$11) which was tasty, but probably wouldn't order it again (would stick to drinks and eat elsewhere).
